King Aiden’s POV
“Your Majesty the Queen wants to see you; is she allowed to come inside?” One of the guards asked with a bow.
“Which of the Queen, aren’t you aware that we now have two queens in the palace?” I asked in an hoarse voice.
“Queen Dylan, my lord,” he replied with a bow.
“Let her in,” I ordered, and he left immediately.
Within some minutes, she walked in like a queen. I stood up from the swivel chair in which I sat.
“What do you want?” I asked without a warm welcome.
“My king, I said I am sorry; at least you’ve given me punishment already; don’t punish me more by staying away from me.”
Please accept my sincere apologies for my stupidity and how I let my jealousy and insecurity about losing you win over me. I am deeply sorry, my lord. “She apologised with some remorse in her voice.
“You are forgiven, but I don’t take back my word. I am taking the throne away from you,” I said and sat on the sofa.
“I agree, my king. I know I have every right to be anxious over losing the position, but can I be sure I won’t lose you? I don’t want to lose you,” she said, coming closer.
“You will decide that; the people I think will stand by me are the ones going against me; you both are the ones who have given me a tough time.
“What if she has to die in that process?” I uttered a word and stood on my feet.
“But she’s saved now, thanks to Helen.” I think we should compensate her. She uttered something, and I came back to my senses.
“Helen, how did she save her? I couldn’t, but she gave her something, and everything healed just like that. How was she so powerful? I should call for her; she must tell me how she could do that” I said, and call for the guards.
“My king, we should take things slowly.” Helen may know how to save her since they have been together every minute for a very long time, “she opined while I glared at her.
“Can you please let me do my thing as a king?” I asked angrily.

Avalon POV
“Helen, please make sure if the king asks you anything in the future about how you saved me, you’d be ready. Tell him it was a miracle; tell him someone-a guy-gave it to you. He shouldn’t know the person is a woman,” I said.
“My princess, why are you so worried?” The person said she’s your guide, and a guide is meant to help in time of danger.
So why bother? Even if the king asked, I would just tell him it was your guidance that gave me the bottle.

“Why are you glaring at me?” “What do you want?” I asked.
“The king ordered us to come with Helen your maid right this minute,” the one who took the lead said.
I knew this was coming. How do I speak with Helen not to say the truth? Oh my goodness! This is bullshit! And it is goddamn hard to convince these people.
“You want Helen, why? What happened?”I asked, knowing very well that it was the king’s order that they were to follow without any questioning.
Just trying to interrogate them-maybe it’s for a different thing.
“We don’t know Ma; we are only asked to bring her.” One of them replies.
“Okay, I get it. Helen, come here.” I called out and faced the guards.
“I know the king will never tell you to rough handle her since she didn’t steal, right? So, we both will follow you patiently,” I said to them.
“Princess, what did they want?” Helen asked.
“Helen, the king called for you; let’s go,” I ordered.

Twinkle was sleeping on the bed in her room. King Aiden’s mom appears in the room.
She walked closer to her and sat by the edge of the bed. She arranged her hair.
“My darling, you are the saviour of this country, but you can’t even remember anything, not to talk of knowing your own destiny.”
I think since you can’t remember your current life, I should help you regain your other life.
I don’t know how to heal you, but I am sure this will help. This might be hard on you, but you can’t leave without fulfilling your destiny,” she said, working some magic.
Twinkle starts to shake without waking up. After a few minutes, she smiles and makes her sleep again.

King Aiden was sitting on his throne, with Queen Dylan standing in a corner.
Avalon and Helen walked in with the guards.
“Great live your highness, I got your call,” Helen said with a bow.
“Yes, I called for you; that’s because I want to ask you something and I need you to be sincere with me. If you choose to lie and I find out, you know the consequences, right?” The king asked.
“Yes, my Lord, I promised to say everything with almost sincerity,” Helen replied, taking a quick glance at Avalon.
“I felt mom present over here; she should be in Twinkle’s room. What is she trying to do?” Avalon thought, feeling uneasy.
“Who gave you that bottle, which contains the drugs you used to save Princess?” Don’t lie,” the king asked.
“Brother, what is this all about?” Someone saved my life; instead of compensating her, you are here asking questions,” Princess Avalon said, trying to take the whole thing on herself.
“Did I ask you questions? Leave her to me,” King Aiden replied.
“Sir, someone gave it to me, but the person was wearing masks. I didn’t know if it was a guy or a lady,” she replied, shuddering.
“It’s a lady, actually a woman, and right now she’s in this palace. Avalon am I right?” King Aiden asked.
