“What!” Jayden said and quickly removed her hand from his lap.
“Are you trying to seduce me?” Jayden asked. “There’s nothing bad in seducing you, I just want you to take the shoot with me” Aurora said and Jayden look into her eyes.
He shake his head before hitting his palm on his head.
“What’s happening!” He asked himelf. “So what’s your answer?” Aurora asked with pout. “Who are.. you?” Jayden asked with a shaking voice.
“I’m Aurora what did you mean by who am I?” Aurora asked. “I mean have we met before today?” Jayden asked.
“No this is my first time of meeting you” Aurora replied.
“Are you sure?” Jayden asked with a frown. “Yes I am very sure, what happened?” Aurora asked and take her hand on his face.
She carefully touch his face with her hand and smile.
“Stop!” Jayden yelled and stood up. “Will you take the shoot with me or not?” Aurora asked with a smirk.
“I’ll” Jayden replied. “Good boy” Aurora smile. “You can leave now” Jayden said and look away.
“Are you avoiding my eyes? Have you suddenly fall in love with my face?” Aurora asked with a smile. “Look here, I’ll join you in the studio, you can leave now” Jayden said.
“I’ll leave, but get ready to see what they called madness if I don’t see you there” Aurora said and wink at him.
“Daddy!” Tania and Jackson shouted and Aurora stop on her track.
“What are you guys doing here?” Jayden asked surprised. “We came through visit you, we have really missed you, it has been long we saw you” Tania said and Aurora moved closer to them. “Hey babies” she smiled at them.
“Did you know our adopted mother? Are you are sister? You sounds like her?” Tania asked and Aurora Chuckled.
“I don’t know what you guys are talking about, I just wanna tell you guys that you’re beautiful” Aurora smile.
“Wow thanks very much” Tania said and cover her face with her tiny hand. “You can leave now!” Jayden said and Aurora scoff.
“See you in the studio, today” Aurora wink before walking out. “Dad who’s she?” Jackson asked.
“She’s a nobody, but who brought you guys?” Jayden asked. “Granny driver” they replied happily. “Good, I also missed you guys, you guys should make yourselves comfortable, I’ll be back in three hours time” Jayden said and peck their forehead.
“Okay Dad” Jackson replied and they both run to Jayden room.
“Justin what’s the dressing code?” Jayden asked. “you forget things easily this days” Justin said. “Answer my damn question” Jayden said and Justin chuckled. “Your cloth is inside your room, but the shoot isn’t today, it’s tomorrow Mr Smith, but I was surprised you agree to go take the shoot with her” Justin replied. “I don’t know why I accept to take the shoot with her, I’m going cràzy Justin” Jayden said.
“Fvck, I’m disappointed he didn’t even recognize my voice, the kids are more smarter than him, what will I do now? I missed him and I don’t wanna reveal my identity to him, atleast not yet, let me go prepare for the shoot, his dream is to shoot with me and he is rejecting me now, so fóolish, wait I am the fóolish one here, he doesn’t even know I am the one, it hurt when he call me a bîtch, he isn’t even looking this, he must be thinking so much, poor boy” Aurora said.
“one week and all this will be over, I will get to the root of this before one week” she said before bringing out her phone.
She dial a number and take it closer to her ear. “Mrs Wilson” someone said from the other end of the call. “How’s it?” Aurora asked.
“I have something interesting for you, something that will help us with the investigation” The person replied.
“Great, let’s meet tomorrow” Aurora said. “You will even be happy if you know what I have in stock for you” the person said.
“I can’t wait, just make sure it’s good news as you said” Aurora said. “Trust me, you’re gonna add to my money” the person said.
“Alright Khan” Aurora replied and end the call. “It better be good news” she said and her phone ring out loud.
“Mrs Wilson” she said before picking the call. “Mum” she called. “My daughter, I heard Manteo proposed to you, tell me how it went” Mrs Wilson said and Aurora scoff.
“It doesn’t go well” Aurora replied. “What did you mean?” Mrs Wilson asked. “I turned him down” Aurora replied.
“Why? I thought you love him” Mrs Wilson said. “No I don’t, the relationship between me and Manteo is friend no string attack, I have a boyfriend” Aurora said.
“But your boyfriend doesn’t even know you’re alive, he must have move on by now” Mrs Wilson said. “I don’t care if he move on or not, I sm gonna have my man back” Aurora replied.
“Goodluck, I support anything you do, Manteo must be very hurt” Mrs Wilson said. “Liza love him, he should give her a chance” Aurora replied.
“Wow, I guess he has gotten a solution to his problem” Mrs Wilson said and burst into laughter.
“Mum I’ll call you later, I need to go prepare for my shoot” Aurora said. “wait, have you meet your family?” Mrs Wilson asked.
“Yes mum, I met them today” Aurora replied. “They must be very happy” Mrs Wilson said. “Yeah, they’re let’s talk later mum” Aurora said and end the call.
She breathe out before starting her car. “Wait! The shoot is tomorrow and I told him it’s today, he even agree we are both stûpid” she said and dial Jayden manager number.
“Hello who am I speaking with?” Justin asked. “It’s Aurora the shoot is tomorrow, help me inform your boss” Aurora said.
“Yes I know, my boss agree with you because he wasn’t thinking straight” Justin replied. “Alright, just help me inform him” Aurora replied and end the call.
“Manteo you aren’t saying anything, who’s the daughter in-law Aurora is talking about?” Mrs Norman asked and Jenny came inside the sitting room with Liza.
“She’s here” Jenny replied with a smile. “You mean Liza?” Mrs Norman asked and face Manteo.
“Why did you tell me is Aurora when you knew it’s Liza, you have made the poor girl cry, you’re such an animal” Mrs Norman said and Henry chuckled.
“I’m very sorry my dear, please forgive me it wasn’t my fault, it’s this son of mine fault” Mrs Norman said.
“We aren’t dating” Liza said. “I don’t understand” Mrs Norman replied and Aurora walked inside.
“They aren’t dating, but she truly love Manteo, but Manteo didn’t wanna give her a chance” Aurora said with a smirk. “Really? I knew it, I knew Manteo didn’t have a good plan for me, Manteo didn’t you wanna get married, you’re 30 years for crying out loud, what’s your problem?” Mrs Norman asked and move closer to Manteo.
She dragged his ear and he wince in pain. “Mum this isn’t fair” Manteo said. “It’s fair, apologize to her now” Mrs Norman said. “Mum I didn’t do anything bad to her” Manteo replied and Mrs Norman twist his ear hard. “I am sorry” he shouted and pout like a baby. “louder!” Mrs Norman said.
“I am sorry” be shouted and everyone burst into laughter including Liza. “Liza welcome to Norman family” Mrs Norman said and Liza blush hard.
“You can report him to me anytime, I’ll help you deal with him” Mrs Norman said and Liza smile.
“Thanks very much ma’am” Liza said and Mrs Norman nod her head. “I’ll get going now, you guys should take care of yourselves” Mrs Norman said.
“We need to talk” Manteo said and drag Liza to his room. “is it true?” Manteo asked and Liza scoff. “Answer my question now” Manteo said. “I don’t have anything to say to you, since you’re too blind to see yourself” Liza replied and walked to Aurora room.
“What are you doing in the lion den?” Aurora asked. “I came to see the lion herself” Liza replied with a scoff. “Really? Are you aware that you won’t leave here alive?” Aurora asked. “I am not scared, anyway thanks” Liza said. “Such an ingrate” Aurora scoff.
“Huh, did your expect me to knee down to thank you? A whole me, a whole Liza” Liza said. “And have you forgotten that I’m the leader?” Aurora asked.
“Oh, leader on foot, anyway thanks very much my love” Liza said and hug Aurora and Aurora push her slightly from herself. “I am not Manteo go and hug Manteo” Aurora said. “Unromantic fóól” Liza Scoff.
“I’m not a lesbian, lock my door when you’re ready to go” Aurora said. “I’m sleeping here tonight” Liza said and jump on her bed. “What are you doing?” Aurora asked. “I’m sleeping, stop making noise and lye down” Liza said and cover herself with Aurora duvet. “I love her” Aurora said before lying down.
The next day
“Thank your star you came” Aurora said and Jayden scoff. “You can’t even greet, where are your manners?” Aurora asked.
“Are you ready for the shoot or not?” Jayden asked. “I never knew he is this arongant” Aurora said. “Whatever” Jayden replied. “Hope you remember it’s couple shoot?” Aurora asked. “Stop taking please” Jayden said. “What if I don’t?” Aurora replied. “I’ll kiss you” Jayden thought.
“It’s time” Jayden manager said and they both walked inside the studio. Aurora sat down on Jayden leg and she placed Jayden hand on her bûtt. Jayden remove his hand immediately feeling uneasy. “Mr Smith hope you’re fine?” The director asked and Jayden nod his head. They take several shot and Jayden suddenly smashed his lips on hers and Aurora eyes almost pop out from their socket.
