“Jayden I am very sorry, we planned it but I love you, she paid me….” Luna didn’t let me complete my word before she cut in.
“if you dare tell him, we are only joking I don’t even know her” Luna said.
“We aren’t joking and she knew me, she came to me and ask me to seduce her fiance, I never wanted to do it, but she made me lose my job, I need money for my Mum surgery so I don’t have a choice than to accept her offer I vow to make her pay, by having you, I am deeply sorry,” I said and Jayden burst into laughter.
He placed his hand on his chest and breathe out in relief, what’s he doing?.
“It’s not a big deal, the real deal is that we are in love with each other, you helped me because I won’t have fallen in love with you if you don’t accept to work with her, you aren’t a gold digger but you’re mine,” Jayden said and my eyes growl widely in shock.
“Jayden! Are you out of your mind? You mean wanna marry a woman that doesn’t love you, she’s only here for money wake up Jayden” Luna yelled.
“Luna this is an office, you will like to lower your voice before I order my guards to drag you out,” Jayden said.
“You can’t do that to me! You can’t ask them to drag me out, I am your fiance” Luna replied.
“You aren’t my fiance anymore, we will break the engagement soon and dad is in support, but mom can marry you if she wants” Jayden replied and I left out a smirk.
“It’s not over, you can’t run away from me because you’re mine and no one can take you away from me,” she said and rushed out.
“I am very sorry,” I said with my head bowed. Jayden stood up and I raised my head up.
He walked to his table without saying a word, he opened his laptop and hissed out.
He closed his laptop back and stood up. “You can go home anytime you want, go prepare for tomorrow’s trip” with that he went out.
It’s obvious he is angry with me, what am I going to do now? I picked up my phone and dialed mum’s number and she pick up immediately.
“My love” mum said from the other end of the call. “Mum I am in trouble,” I said.
“Trouble? Where are you?” Mum asked, she sounds worry.
“I am still in the office” mum replied. “What happened to you?” Mum asked with a shaking voice.
“I am on my way to the house, I’ll explain to you when I get to the house” I replied and pick up my bag from rushing out of the office, I don’t know what to do right now, I need to see Mum first I believe she will have a solution to my problem.
“Hey, why are you in a hurry? You came here two hours and now you’re in a hurry to go back, it’s unfair” Claire said with a pout.
“I am very sorry Claire, I’ll call you later,” I said and rushed out.
“Hey get inside,” Henry said, I don’t understand Henry again, how did he know I am going out now? Is he stalking me?.
“I know what you’re thinking about, I have something to tell you that was why I came to wait for you, I’ll wait until you close” Henry replied.
“Oh,” the thing he wants to tell me must be very important.
“Are you in a hurry to go to the house?” He asked and I nod my head.
“You don’t look good, what happened to you?” Henry asked.
“I am having an issue with my boyfriend” I replied and he stopped driving.
“I thought you’re single,” he said.
“Yeah, before not anymore” I replied. “Oh F00LISH me, I was thinking you’re single” Henry replied.
“You aren’t f00lish” I replied. “I am, I know you will be surprised, but I love you, don’t worry I won’t bother you since you have a boyfriend, we will still remain friends, I’ll find someone else, so who’s your boyfriend?” Henry asked.
He is a real man, he and Derrick are very understanding, I love men like this.
“My boss is my boyfriend” I replied and he burst into laughter. “Office romance? It will be very sweet” he said and I smack his head, he managed to make me smile, this is why I love male besties, I didn’t have any bestie aside from Pamela.
“What’s the name of your boyfriend?” He asked with a smile. “Why did you wanna know his name?” I asked with a frown. “Is it bad for me to know who my friend is going out with?” He asked.
“It’s not bad, his name is Jayden Smith, did you know him?” I asked.
“Oh my goodness! You’re dating a celebrity, I thought he is engaged” Henry said n “Yes he is, but he doesn’t love the girl” I replied.
“Oh you’re lucky, what did you do to our dearest Jayden?” He asked and I explained everything to him. “This is bad, you should have explained to him before now, I won’t forgive you if I happen to be in his shoe,” he said. “So you mean he’s not going to forgive me?” I asked immediately.
“Common girl, I am not Jayden, and Jayden isn’t me, but I can help you talk to him if you want,” he said.
“Nevermind” I replied and he park his car in our compound.
“Don’t think about it, I’ll call you later” he said and I came down from the car. “Thanks” I replied and walk inside the house.
“What happened to you?” Mum asks immediately after I enter. “Jayden found out” I replied. “I told you to tell him, didn’t I?” Sky scoffed.
“Don’t blame me, we started dating yesterday, so it wasn’t my fault I planned to tell him today, did you even think it’s easy to tell him?” I asked and burst into the tears I have been holding. “I am sorry I don’t mean to make you feel bad, please stop crying,” Sky said and rushed to my side.
“Who told him?” Mum asks. “Luna came, I spit it out when she wants to tell him,” I said and Mum breathe out. “you’re still the one that tells him, he will come around if he truly loves you, don’t think about it” Mum replied and pat my back.
“Yeah, or should I call him?” Sky asked. “Don’t, Karen should look for a way to apologize to him” Mum replied and Sky nod his head.
“Sky why are you home by this time of the day?” I asked because he was supposed to be in school by this time.
“Money, I didn’t bother to go, because I am still owing the school” he replied with a frown. “Oh, I see” I replied. “Don’t bother yourself, I’ll wait till you get the money and I think I’ll start part-time work tomorrow to help you” He replied with a smile, one thing I love about him is that he’s very considerate.
“Don’t worry, you will go back to school, tomorrow, Luna paid for my service” I said.
“Are you for real? She paid you after knowing you’re dating her fiance?” Mum asks.
“I trick her, I have deposited your surgery money to the hospital account, the doctor said you should come for the surgery tomorrow, but it’s quite unfortunate that I won’t be there when they’re doing your surgery, because of the business trip” I replied and she smiled. “Thank you very much, my love, it’s not a must for you to be there, since your brother will be there” Mum replied.
“Thanks!” Sky said, is my ear deceiving me? Sky tell me thanks. “What are you thanking me for?” I asked.
“For being an amazing sister, you’re selfless, you did the seducing stuff because of Mum, I wish Jayden can just forgive you,” he said with a pout.
. “Don’t worry I am going to his house tonight, he will forgive me by force” I said with a smile. “Good idea,” Sky said. “You won’t go to school tomorrow, you have to stay with mum in the hospital, I’ll send your school fees to your school address tomorrow,” I said and he smiled.

“Jayden you have been staring into space since we came inside, what he to you?” Justin ask. “I want to be alone, so get out,” Jayden said.
“I can’t get out” Justin replied. “Okay,” Jayden replied and walked to his room Justin’s phone rang out loud and he picked it up immediately. “Hey, why are you calling me by this time of the night?” Justin ask.
“I am sorry for disturbing you, I need you to give me Jayden’s house address,” Karen said. “Houses address by this time?” Justin ask. “Yes I really need it, please send it,” Karen said. “Alright I’ll send it, but the weather is bad,” Justin said.
“I know Just send it” Karen replied.
“Alright I’ll” Justin replied and end the call. “Hey I don’t want any visitor, no one must come inside my house,” Jayden said and walked to the bar.
“But Karen is on her way,” Justin said. “I know, I don’t want to see her, so it’s better you call her to sit down in her house” Jayden replied.
“What’s going on?” Justin ask. “Nothing” Jayden replied and the security rushed inside. “A lady is here to see you, sir,” he said. “I don’t want to see anybody, tell her to go back to where she’s coming from” Jayden’s replied, and a heavy raindrop. “Sir” Justin called.
“Don’t call me, and you what are you still waiting for?” Jayden asked and the security guy ran off.
“he said he doesn’t wanna see anyone” the security said. “Did you tell him it’s Karen?” Karen asked. “I guess he already knows you’re the one,” the security guy replied and lock the gate.
“Why’s Jayden doing like this? Didn’t he know that it was rainy? Did he wants me to freeze to dèath?” Karen asked and sat on the floor.
