Derrick sighed before sitting down on the bed he hold Karen’s hand and breathe out.
“I wanted to see you today so I can tell you how I feel about you, but I feel it’s ûsèlèss since you’re already in love with Jayden, I love you, I have been in love with you since our high school days, I am just so scared to tell you, but I guess we aren’t met to be in the first place,” Derrick said and Karen look shocked.
“since highschool days? What the fvck! Why don’t you tell me all this while?” Karen yelled.
“I was scared, the fear of rejection” Derrick said.
“You should have told me, I would have accepted you then, seriously I fall in love with you since you stood by me in our elementary days, I didn’t tell you because I thought you only see me as your sister, I tried hard to kîll the love, that was when I started watching Jayden show and luckily I fell in love with his personality, the only love I have for you now is brotherly love, but did you know you’re an f00l? Or should I say, coward?” Karen asked. “Yeah, I am a coward, but I believe we aren’t made for each other,” Derrick said and Karen nod her head.
“Thanks for the understanding, I love you,” Karen said and hug Derrick.
Derrick chuckled before hugging her back.
“I am not obsessed with you, I am in love so I’ll be very happy with any decisions you made, I guess I will start searching for my own missing rib,” Derrick said and Karen disengage from the hug.
“Yeah, I can’t wait to see her” Karen replied. “You can’t wait when I haven’t searched for her if you can’t wait for to see her, you have to seat,” Derrick said and Karen burst into laughter.
“You’re so mean,” Karen said, and Derrick scoffed.
“Any gist for this sister of yours?” Karen asked and placed her head on his lap.
“Yeah, I met Miss Luna Walker today, I like her before but I changed my mind I don’t like her anymore,” Derrick said and Karen stood up immediately.
“Where did you see her?” Karen asked.
“At a restaurant” Derrick replied with a smile. “Oh did she talk to you?” Karen asked.
“Yes, she was busy acting like an slvt, I don’t like her” Derrick replied.
“Wait she asked you out?” Karen asked and burst into laughter.
“No she didn’t, she only gave me her complimentary card, and she’s busy giving me a naughty look,” Derrick said.
“She didn’t know my best friend isn’t naughty,” Karen said and he scoffed.
“Did you know, she’s Jayden’s fiance?” Karen asked and Derrick burst into laughter.
“You’re funny, that lady doesn’t look like she’s engaged” Derrick replied.
“She’s engaged and I am not joking” Karen replied.
“You mean she was the one that ask you to seduce her fiance?” Derrick asked. “Isn’t it obvious” Karen replied with a scoff.
“Oh my goodness! She’s shameless, no wonder I don’t like her, you need to snatch the poor guy from her, I support you” Derrick said.
“Don’t you think there will be problem?” Karen asked.
“What happened to the brave and sassy Karen?” Derrick asked.
“Nothing, I am still brave and strong” Karen replied and Sky rushed to the ward with her phone.
“Hey your phone is disturbing my peace,” Sky said and throw the phone at her.
Karen picks up the phone and clicks on the answer button.
“Hey,” Bûllet said from the other end of the call. “Bûllet” Karen called with a smile.
“How are you doing? I heard you’re in the hospital, is it part of our plan?” Derrick asked.
“No, it’s not, I had an attack” Karen replied. “Attack hope you’re fine?” Bullet asked.
“Sure I am” Karen replied.
“Alright take good care of yourself,” Bullet said and end the call.
“Bûllet what type of name is that?” Derrick asked.
“His real name is Jaymes, did you know that Jayden is a twin?” Karen asked.
“Twins? His parents only gave birth to only him” Derrick replied.
“That’s what Mrs. Smith made the world believe including her husband, Jayden is a twin, she hides his twin brother, his twin brother is bûllet, the gangster I told you about,” Karen said.
“This is unbelievable, did you tell Jayden about it?” Derrick asked.
“No I don’t, bûllet told me not to tell him, and I don’t wanna put myself in trouble” Karen replied and Derrick nod his head in support.
“I’ll tell him, I record everything you just said,” Sky said.
“you dare not!” Karen said.
“I can,” Sky said and play the voice record to Karen. “Sky!” Karen yelled.
“Karen” Sky shout back.
“I’ll delete the voice record on one condition,” Sky said.
“which is?” Karen asked.
“Calm down, I’ll tell you even if you don’t ask, you will have to accept to date Mr. Jayden tomorrow, you know I can’t wait to be Mr. Jayden’s in-law, I can’t wait to tell my classmate how sweet he is,” Sky said and Karen hissed out loud.
“Fvck off!” Karen said. “Does that mean, you don’t accept to date my idol?” Sky asked.
“I am not ready to accept” Karen replied. “You aren’t ready to keep bûllet secret then,” Sky said. “Fine, I’ll do it,” Karen said and Derrick burst into laughter. “Sky is the only one that can frustrate your life,” Derrick said.
“Don’t talk to me again! Instead of you looking for a way to collect Sky phone you’re here laughing” Karen said.
“It’s none of my business” Derrick replied. “Stand up and go if it’s none of your business,” Karen said and Derrick left out a smirk.

“Bye mum,” I said and waved my hand at her, and mum smiled at me.
Jayden is here to take me out, strangely I am very happy to go out with him.
Sky moved closer to Jayden and whispered something to him.
“What are you guys talking about?” I asked with a frown.
“There’s no need for you to know” Sky replied and rushed inside, I think they’re talking about me, that rascal, I will make sure I find out what they’re talking about from Jayden.
Justin open the car door for us and we both entered.
“I missed you today, the office is empty without you,” Jayden said with a smile. “Empty?” I asked because I don’t understand how his office will be empty without me, I started work three days ago, it’s not as if I am that important in that office.
“Yes, it’s very empty, hope you’re good now?” Jayden asked with a smile.
“Sure I am” I replied.
“So we will be leaving the country tomorrow?” Karen asked.
“Yes, it’s for five days and I am happy you’re going with me” he replied and removed a strand of hair that was trying to enter my eyes. “Why are you happy? Can’t you just go with your fiance?” I asked.
“I can’t go with her because she’s not my secretary, everyone will come with their secretary” he replied and I feel bad, so he’s taking me there, just because they say they should come with their secretary.
“Why are you giving me that look?” He asked. “Nothing” I muttered.
“Don’t get me wrong, though they said we should come with our secretary, but if you happen to be my fiance, I replaced you with secretary” he replied and I smile.
“We are here,” Justin said and Jayden look around with a frown before coming down from the car.
“This place didn’t look healthy,” he said. “You can choose to go back” I replied and he hold my hand. “I can’t go back, I am here already” he replied and we both walked inside the small amusement park.
“Aunt help!” A girl shouted and rushed to my side, if I am not mistaken, she will be around 8 or 10.
“What happened?” I asked with a frown.
“My brother is dying” she replied with tears. “What? Where’s she?” Jayden asked before I can say anything.
“Over there” The guy replied and Jayden rushed off leaving me in shock.
“I don’t know if he’s always like this, or is he doing this because of me?” I asked out loud. “No Miss Martin, Mr. Jayden doesn’t like seeing people in pain” Justin replied and I rushed to join Jayden.
Jayden rushed to the car with the girl in his arm. There’s a red spot all over the boy’s face, what happened to him?
