Alyssa’s Pov:
“But why can’t you come over, Nigel? I’m really nervous” I spoke nervously into the phone as I sat on the bed, staring at my long dazzling gown that Mico had sent to me for prom.
“I’m sorry, Alyssa; but I’m kind of hooked up as well. I wish I could be there” Nigel replied me on the phone and I sighed sadly.
I touched my forehead and looked at the gown.
“Ive never worn such a pretty gown before. I wonder how I’m going to look in it” I said and he chuckled.
“I’m sure it will be fitting enough. You don’t have to worry about that” he replied.
I smiled and left the bed, facing the window.
“This is going to be my first time to attend school prom. I wonder how it’s going to be. And I can’t believe I’ll be going as Mico’s date. Isn’t it such an honor?
“I can’t imagine how the students would stare at me. I’m sure they would want to eat me up.
I so can’t wait, Nigel. But I’m really nervous”.
He laughed a bit.
“Don’t worry Alyssa; I’ll be there with you” he said and I flinched.
“You’re so crazy Nigel. This isn’t time for jokes.
By the way, I don’t even know how to dance. What if I end up stepping on Mico’s toes and make him mad?” I asked and he laughed again.
“Don’t worry, he won’t get mad” he replied.
“Better. I really hope so”.
I pushed and inhaled deeply.
I don’t think I’ve ever been this anxious in my life before.
“I think you’re running late, Alyssa. It’s almost 6pm” he said and I sighed again.
“Okay then. Come around tomorrow so I’ll tell you all about it, okay?” I said.
“Okay. Good luck” he replied and dropped the call.
Gosh!
I think I’m sweating already.
Finally, the long awaited prom is here.
How is it going to be?
I returned to the bed nd admired my dress again.
It was so long and pretty.
My heels were on the floor and I also had a pink purse to match the outfit.
But, how do I take care of my facial appearance?
I don’t think I still have any powder left.
Just then, someone knocked on the door and I opened up to see it was Jake.
What the hell?
“What do you want?” I growled at him
“Hey, before you’d eat me up, I just want to tell you some freaks are out there looking for you” he said immediately and I puzzled at the freaks he could possibly be referring to.
“What freaks?” I asked.
“Go find out yourself” he replied while walking away and I hissed and followed him behind.
I went outside and met about three corporate ladies and a boy, standing as if waiting for me.
“Hi. Can I be of help?” I asked as I looked at them with scrutiny.
“Good evening ma’am. We’re from P-glam Makeover and we were sent by Mr Mico to prepare you for the party” one of them replied and my eyes beamed.
Oh, my God; Mico was really serious when he had told me he’d be taking care of everything.
I looked at them and they were all smiling at me.
So, this is how it feels to be his date to prom?
Then I wonder how the main dating would be.
Mico’s Pov:
I sat on the bed nd kept thinking of Alyssa. I can’t wait to see how she’d look in that outfit.
I’m pretty sure it’d be killing.
But to be sincere, I think I’ve gotten to like this Alyssa a lot.
I keep thinking about her and each time I do, I find myself smiling.
That day when I had asked her to be my date to prom, she was so pretty, even when she was crying.
Her eyes and long hair fits so perfectly.
The way she stares at the floor when she’s with me – as Mico.
The way she flutters her eyes when she’s shy.
And the way her face turns red when she’s happy.
Even how she talks like a parrot and hits me when I’m around her as Nigel.
The way she behaves so childish.
I enjoy every bit of it and most of the time, I always want to be close to her.
Yes, I’m not denying these feelings because they’re so also beginning to confuse me.
I don’t know if I’m feeling something extra ordinary for Alyssa.
So far, I think it’s high time I found out the truth.
But remembering what happened with Alexa…
Well, it still won’t stop me from finding out the truth.
I really want to know if I have any serious feelings for Alyssa.
I want to know if I might probably be in love with her.
Yes , I want to find out.
And I’m going to find out in the prom.
Alexa’s Pov:
I sat in front of the mirror as the make up artiste applied make up on my face.
I kept smiling as I couldn’t wait for the prom night.
Finally, I was going to take my revenge on Alyssa .
I had already promised myself that I’d be Mico’s date to prom.
But since he didn’t chose me, I’m going to make sure no other lady enjoys the privilege.
And considering the fact that I hate that Alyssa, I can’t wait to execute my plans on her.
I’ll make Mico hate her so much that he might end up expelling her from the school.
The Unknown’s Pov:
“is everything in order?” I said into the phone as I stood at the balcony.
“Yes.” he replied.
‘Good. Be sure everything is done correctly. I wouldn’t want any mistake. Is that understood?” I asked.
“Yes” he replied and the call ended.
Alyssa’s Pov:
I stood in front of the mirror and admired my pretty self
To be sincere, I don’t think I’ve ever been this beautiful before.
I think I’m beginning to feel shy already.
I walked out of the room and got outside and my ride was already waiting for me
It was a red flashy car.
The driver upended the back seat for me and I got in and just then, Jake ran up to me before I’d close the door.
“Hey, sis, can I hop in for a ride? I need to hurry off to somewhere important” he told me and I grinned at him.

“You can make use of your legs” I replied and he frowned.
“Seriously? It’s not It’s not even yours, yet you’re acting bossy with it”
“Well, at least I’m in charge for now.
So, go get one for yourselves and one of your girlfriends” I rolled my eyes at him and closed the door and the driver took off.
Finally, it’s time for prom.
