Emma Rosy walked out and looked at the time was already late, face showed a touch of anxiety, she was a little worried about no one to take care of Judi Dench.
While she was taking a taxi, Alex Brown had come up behind her.
“Is there some kind of misunderstanding between us?” Alex Brown was a bit puzzled by her sudden coldness and wanted to know what she was thinking.
After Emma Rosy heard the voice behind her, her back stiffened for a moment, and the look in her eyes became complicated.
“What misunderstanding can there be between us?” She saw him now and thought of what happened that day.
“Mr. Brown better go and accompany Ms. Miller, don’t make her wait long.” Her tone was particularly cold, without a trace of warmth, and she looked at Alex Brown with the demeanor of a stranger.
Her attitude drove Alex Brown a little crazy, “What do you mean by that?”
“Literally.” Emma Rosy didn’t bother to talk to him anymore and reached out to hail a cab, but just then, her body suddenly took off into the air.
“What are you doing?” A look of panic flashed across Emma Rosy’s face, and her hand slapped his chest trying to get him to put herself down.
But Alex Brown looked indifferent.
Emma Rosy was once again shoved into the passenger side in a not-so-gentle way.
She thought to open the car door but found it locked.
“What do you want!” Emma Rosy’s voice had a tinge of anger in it, Alex Brown’ behavior was always a little unpredictable to her.
“Take me to the hospital.” When Emma Rosy calmed down and saw that the direction was towards the villa, her voice became unusually cold.
And Alex Brown acted as if he hadn’t heard her words and had no tendency to turn around.
“I’ll say it one last time, I want to go to the hospital.”
Emma Rosy’s turned her head to see Alex Brown’ tense side face, saw him still not stopping, reached across Alex Brown and tried to unlock the door.
Alex Brown was not prepared for this action and by the time he closed the door lock again it was too late.
Emma Rosy had already unlocked the car door.
Alex Brown saw this and hurriedly hit the brakes, but Emma Rosy had already jumped out of the car.
There was a sound of brakes and Emma Rosy jumped out of the car, flipped several times and finally landed on the ground.
She didn’t care about her bruises and slowly used her arms to support her body to stand up.
The pain from her body made her forehead appear bean drops of sweat, and she slowly stood up as she endured the pain.
One step, one step.
The burning pain on her body almost made her feel faint.
“Emma Rosy!” came the voice of Alex Brown from behind her, making her hear a little less precisely.
A muffled thunderclap rang out in the sky, followed by raindrops pelting down.
“Let go of me!” Emma Rosy used all her strength to try to shake off his hand that was pulling her, the man in front of her made her feel sick, even touching her made her feel sick.
Alex Brown saw her state, did not say a word, directly pulled her into his arms.
Emma Rosy no longer had the strength to push him away, so she let him hold her.
The rain washed over the ground, making passersby’s feet become hurried.
The pain in Emma Rosy’s body was getting stronger and stronger, but her heart was still thinking about Judi Dench.
Her mouth kept chanting, “Go to the hospital …”
Alex Brown, looking at the horrific wounds on her body, picked her up in a cross-legged hug and headed for the car.
Emma Rosy had fallen into a comatose state.
Alex Brown carried her to the hospital, where her wounds, combined with the rain, left her burning and feverish.
The nurse finished treating the wounds on her body before giving her a burst of fever-reducing injections.
After the doctor left, Alex Brown and Emma Rosy were left alone in the ward, and he looked at the pale face of the person lying on the hospital bed, which made his heart ache.
Alex Brown’ eyes lingered on her face for a moment and saw the cell phone on the bedside.
He reached out and took the phone in his hand, his thoughts drifting back to earlier.
After opening it, he saw the password on it and after thinking about it, he entered his birthday into it.
The moment he unlocked it, the look on his face drifted off for a moment, so her password had never changed.
As he was just opening it, a text message suddenly came and he tapped right in.
After Alex Brown saw that it was a spam message, he was about to exit when he saw a text from an unmarked number below.
His eyes sank and he reached out and clicked on the text message.
When he saw the content of the text message, he immediately understood why Emma Rosy was so cold to him.
“Marisa!”
He looked at They photos and thought of that day. He didn’t know how she took the photos, but seeing the ambiguous posture of They people on it, anyone who saw it would think in that direction, and with those ambiguous words, it was no wonder Emma Rosy would say those kinds of things to him today.
After Alex Brown understood why she was like that, he turned his cell phone off and put it back in place again.
Emma Rosy was burning up and talking nonsense, mumbling and muttering.
Alex Brown took her hand and felt the coldness of her palm.
He stayed with her all night.
By the next morning, Emma Rosy’s fever had almost gone down, and she slowly opened her eyes to see the white ceiling.
She felt her arm sink a little and turned her head to see the person lying there.
Emma Rosy moved her arm slightly, trying to pull her hand out of his, but it woke him up.
Alex Brown felt her movement and slowly lifted his head, his face looking as if he had just woken up, “You’re awake?”
He saw Emma Rosy looking at him, “No more fever.”
Only then did he wake up completely, “I fell asleep yesterday by accident.”
The scrapes on her body hadn’t quite scabbed over and the slightest movement would pull at the wounds.
Alex Brown didn’t get angry when he saw how she was ignoring him, but his tone remained gentle, “I’ll go get some food, what do you want to eat?”
Emma Rosy closed her eyes and turned her head to the other side.
Alex Brown did not get a response and spoke again, as if he was talking to himself, “I’ll see to it then.”
With those words he turned and went out the door of the ward, and at the door he seemed to meet the nurse, as if he had said your words to her.
Immediately after that, the nurse walked in, and she spoke to Emma Rosy while changing her medication.
Her intent was to distract the patient so that they could feel some pain relief.
After the medication was administered, the nurse left the room.
Emma Rosy listened to the “drizzling” rain outside and thought again about last night’s events.
She hadn’t thought much about it when she jumped out of the car, but now it seemed lucky that her face wasn’t too badly bruised, otherwise she would have regretted it later.
She wanted to use her arms to support her body to sit up, but when she moved, she would pull her body wound.
At that moment, her cell phone rang.
Emma Rosy reached out her hand and slowly took the phone into her hand, just one action that seemed to kill her.
