Chapter 91
Lyra made her way to the station to see Ella. Since the children made that comment she had been disturbed about what Bryan knew that Ella knew.
Neither of them doesn’t even know the other. Things were getting really confusing to her. Bryan and Ella never really shared any relationship where he would know that she knows something
As she made her way inside the station, she saw Ella already waiting for her there. With a smile Ella said,
“I knew you would come”
Lyra sat down opposite her but didn’t say a word. Ella didn’t mind, she continued
“Ah, I knew the obedient fool would pass my message to you. How do you still look him in the eyes after all he has done to you?” Ella asked with a sneer
Lyra simply replied “I didn’t come here to talk about Bruce. Since you wanted to see me, I came to grace you with my presence. What is it you want to see me for?”
Ella chuckled “Grace her presence”
“Did you know I lost my baby?” She suddenly asked, making Lyra frown.
“No, I didn’t know”
“Did you know I lost my husband?” She asked again and Lyra also replied
“No, I didn’t know” then Ella nodded.
“Okay! Let me inform you” she raised her back from the chair to sit upright.
“I lost my baby and my husband in one day. Lyra, I don’t know why I feel it’s all your fault” Lyra frowned at her
“My fault?” She asked, “How’s it my fault?”
“Well, you know me well, Lyra. I love to put the blame on you so here I am, doing it again. I don’t care if you had a hand in this or not, it is all your fault!”
Lyra looked at the girl for a long time before she chuckled
“Ella has gone crazy” she burst into laughter but not just her, Ella too was laughing. Everyone who looked at them could not help but think they were both mad.
After a long laugh, Lyra said to Ella with a smirk on her face
“Let’s say I actually have a hand in everything that’s going on in your life right now, what are you going to do about it?”
Ella chuckled “That’s the reason I asked the idiot to call you here. As you can see I’m behind bars but that doesn’t mean I don’t have my ways, Lyra”
“What do you think? That I’ll let everything in my life crumble while yours will be intact? You’re so clueless”
Lyra remained quiet as she didn’t want to say anything more so she just listened
“So where do I start as I ruin your perfectly planned life”
Lyra raised herself and placed her arms on the desk before them and said
“I came prepared, Ella. Don’t think that mere words would get me like before”
Ella chuckled “I can see that. Should I start with the twins or…” She looked keenly at Lyra before she whispered for Lyra to hear
“Bryan?”
Lyra’s eyes darkened. What the hell did Ella know about Bryan? These two had nothing together. She tried to reassure herself.
“I don’t care where you wish to start from Ella. Speak and let me leave here. I have important things to do back at the office”
“I bet after you hear what I have to say you won’t go running to the office, but somewhere else” she smirked.
Lyra’s gaze was on Ella waiting for Ella to speak but the girl was just so annoying, she wasn’t saying a thing. Instead, she yawned
“Ah, I wish Bruce was here. It would be better if the both of you were together when I say these things”
Lyra frowned “I don’t have anything to do with Bruce. Whatever you want to say, say it or keep shut. And don’t you ever waste my time again. I’m leaving” she stood up and picked up her bag
“Are you sure you want to do that?” Ella asked with a pretty smile that caused her eyes to shine
“Are you sure you don’t want to know who Bryan really is? The man you want to get married to next Tuesday, is it?”
Lyra’s eyes widened, “How did you know about that?” She asked in shock but Ella only chuckled
“Sit down sister. We have a lot to talk about. Come. Sit. Let me ruin your perfect life a little” Ella coaxed and Lyra found herself sitting down to listen to what Ella had to say
“First of all, I’m not sorry for sleeping with your husband. What I mean is your ex-husband, Bruce. Bruce was an idiot that let his dick control him-”
“I didn’t come here to hear about Bruce or his dick!” She practically yelled and hit the table before them. This caused everyone to turn to her again with a gasp, she just screamed that out loud for everyone to hear. She turned red in embarrassment and anger
She shifted uncomfortably on her seat before saying in a whisper with gritted teeth
“Do not get on my nerves, Ella. What is it that you know?”
Ella laughed with her hands covering her mouth “I haven’t even started and you are already all worked out. Look at your chest, you are breathing so heavily. Why? Does it still hurt?”
“Does it still hurt that I kissed, sucked, and fucked your husband right in your house, under your nose? Does it hurt that your prince charming never saw you as princess Jasmine?”
“Tsk tsk tsk… What a pity. My pretty girl, I’m sorry but I had to do what I had to do to get my hands on wealth. Anything would do even if it meant sleeping with my sister’s husband”
Lyra felt her eyes burnt with tears as she watched Ella reopen the wound she had long closed and tried to heal.
She felt miserable all of a sudden but she didn’t want Ella to see it. She didn’t want Ella to see her vulnerable. She is a strong woman now, she is a mother of two and she will be getting married to the man of her dreams by next week.
So she stood up and said to Ella,
“It looks like you don’t have anything to say. I would be taking my leave now” she began walking away but Ella asked
“What about Bryan? Did he tell you he came to visit me?” Lyra paused
