” Sorry, I don’t. You’re my sister right? What’s your name? ” She asked with a big smile on that Bruce felt like it was the first time he would be seeing her with a heavy smile like that on.
” Tia ” Tia whispered shakily. ” Aww, come on I will be fine soon. Dr Williams says it’s only for a month as long as I use my drugs, I will have my memories back, okay? Don’t cry and don’t worry, I will try to be my real self if you teach me how to so you won’t miss me too much ” She said.
” No.. no, I love you like this. Your normal self is a sad and unhappy one ” Tia muttered the last part to herself and Lyra smiled brightly once again.
They broke away from the hug and almost immediately, Henri walked in with a packaged food in his hands.
” Miss ” He bowed lightly and Lyra raised her brows.
” Who are you? My husband? ” She asked and they almost choked in shock. Tia turned to her in shock while Henri shook his head hurriedly.
” No, he’s your husband’s personal guard ” Tia said hurriedly and gestured at Bruce who stood, watching them with a blank expression.
Lyra turned to Bruce and then raised her brows. ” Wow, he’s so handsome but I like him more ” She said, turning her face back to Henri who chuckled as he helped her unpackage her food on another table.
Tia glared at his back before turning to Lyra with a fake smile. Lyra glanced at Bruce who hadn’t said any word.
” You’re not going to say anything? ” She asked confusingly.
” H… He’s shy ” Tia whispered, trying to cover up for Bruce.
” Oh, I can’t believe he’s my husband anyways. He’s so hot ” She whispered dreamily to Tia who nodded.
Lyra turned her face to Henri again and she smiled. ” You sure he’s just a guard? ” Lyra asked and Tia raised her brows confusingly until she traced Lyra’s gaze and it landed on Henri.
Her face turned into a frown. ” You have a husband! ” Tia almost snapped and Lyra turned to her with a raised brow.
” Sorry ” Tia mumbled and Lyra only smiled at her.
” Here miss ” Henri handed over the dish to her which she collected without hesitation and then with a smile.
” Thanks ” She said and Henri nodded with a light smile. Tia almost glared at him but she held it in.
” Why’s everyone calling me ‘miss’ anyways? I have no kids? ” Lyra asked and Tia nodded.
” Wow, I can’t believe this and I’m almost 28 ” She muttered and Tia raised her brows.
” You remember your age? ” She asked surprisingly and Lyra scoffed.
” Come on, Dr Williams said I only lost some part of my memories and not all ” Lyra shrugged with her mouthful of food.
” So, which memories so you still remember? ” Tia asked slowly.
” That.. I am a billionaire and I have a company, given to my sister, you? ” Lyra asked but Tia shook her head.
” No, your twin sister ” Tia replied.
” Okay? And then, I have parents and.. I.. I.. have.. ” She glanced at Tia who shook her head slowly and without Bruce seeing her do that.
” And.. that’s all I remember, so tell me about me then. I have a husband who’s shy and wouldn’t talk to me ever since I woke up, is there something weird about our marriage like? My husband doesn’t love me and it’s a forced one? ” Lyra asked as she dipped more food into her mouth while they all stared at her in suprise at how quick she could piece that together.
” Of course not, he loves you, like I said he’s just a shy type ” Tia said and Lyra nodded tho she wasn’t satisfied.
The last thing she wanted to mention about what she remembered was that she had a secret that her supposed husband isn’t aware of but she doesn’t even know what that secret was.
And she was wondering why she had a secret her husband doesn’t know if truly they both loved each other.
” We should leave when you’re done ” Bruce finally uttered a word as his phone beeped and with that, he walked out of the ward.
” What’s with him? ” Lyra hissed and Henri chuckled at her expression and that made Tia and Lyra look at him at the same time.
He bit his lips slowly and then looked away. Tia glared so hard at him while Lyra smiled at how cute his smile was, Tia turned back to Lyra and saw her smile.
She frowned in jealousy. ” Lyra, I will be back ” She said as she stood and Lyra nodded as she continued eating her food.
” Follow me ” She mouthed at Henri as she walked out.
” I will be back miss ” Henri said to Lyra and she only nodded without taking her eyes off her food.
Tia dragged Henri to a corner outside the hospital building.
” What the hell do you think you’re doing in that? ” Tia asked almost angrily and Henri raised his brows in confusion.
” I didn’t do anything Tia ” He said and Tia scoffed.
” Really? Why the hell then were you flashing her your smile all through? Are you trying to take advantage of the fact that she lost her memory? ” Tia asked angrily and Henri sighed.
” I seriously don’t know what you’re talking about but come on Tia, she’s married to my boss and she’s my boss and I have a girlfriend, why would I try to do that when I know that I might lose my job and she would regain her memory soon, those are just you making up things that aren’t real ” Henri said slowly and at the same time, trying not to anger Tia the more.
” Stop acting jealous okay? I can’t fall for my boss’s wife ” He said with a chuckle and then draw her to him.
” Your jealous face is so cute ” He said and she scoffed.
” Don’t do that again ” She muttered in between the hug.
” I won’t, I promise ” He said with a little smile.
** Bruce’s Mansion **
” Our home? ” Lyra asked Bruce as they both walked in and he nodded. He noticed the non-contented look on her face.
” You don’t like it? ” Tia beat him to asking Lyra and she nodded.
” Why? ” Bruce asked. ” It’s not as big as I expected for a billionaire like us ” She replied and walked over to the stairs.
” Tia, where’s my room? ” She asked as she got to the stairs and without looking back.
” Yeah, I should take you there ” Tia rushed over to her and they both began to ascend the stairs.
” Get the hell off me! ” Ella’s distant voice could be heard and Tia hurriedly grabbed Lyra up the stairs, making her wonder why she did that but she didn’t ask.
Bruce and Henri turned at the same time to see Ella freeing herself from a guard’s grip and then rushing over to Bruce and before he could blink, she landed a slap on his cheek.
” Ell.. ” He couldn’t complete his sentence when she landed another slap on his other cheek.
Henri had to step in as he forcefully grabbed Ella and pulled her faraway from Bruce ignoring his struggles.
He released her on the couch in the sitting room and she glared angrily at him.
” I’m sorry miss ” He apologized as he stood in front of her, preventing her from rushing over to Bruce again.
” How dare you ignore me for her!? You’ve been with that bit*ch for one fvcking week and now you were supposed to come straight to me immediately for a date we both planned but what did you do? Instead, you hanged around with that bit*ch, isn’t it? Isn’t it, tell me, you love her now right? She have seduced you during those days right that you can’t even think straight anymore! ” Ella questioned angrily.
” Ella, that’s not it…. ”
” Then what the hell is it!? Tell me what is it!? ” Ella snapped.
” Something happened at the party, she lost her memory ” Bruce explained and she went mute.
” Everything? ” She asked in suprise. Bruce shook his head. ” Not all ”
” Does she remember me? ” She asked.
” No, not even me ” Bruce replied and Ella lips crept into a smile.
” Wow, just great. That way she can sign the divorce papers without questions ” Ella said with a wide smile but Bruce shook his head and she raised her brows.
” Sorry? ”
” She won’t do that, she might have lost her memory but she sure knows what a divorce paper means and moreover, I am the factor responsible for her loss of memory. I can’t take advantage of it again and divorce her and then leave her on her own. I have to help her regain her memory and she would sign the papers anyways ” Bruce said and Ella scoffed angrily.
” I guess I’m right then! You’re really in love with her now and can’t let go of of her ”
” Ella, no it’s not.. ” He tried to move close to her but she stopped him.
” Stay away from me cheater ” She said in tears and then rushed outside.
Bruce sighed before rushing after her. Fortunately, he caught up with her just as she was about entering her car.
” Ella ” He grasped her.
” Leave.. me alone! ” Ella struggled to break free. He pinned her to the car at once and kissed her deeply, and that seemed to calm her down as she kissed him back.
He broke the kiss and then pecked her forehead. ” It’s always you.. ” He whispered. ” Huh? ” She let out, lost staring at his perfectly shaped face.
” Who owns my heart ” He completed and she blushed lightly. She suddenly got a grasp of herself and she scoffed.
” Are you trying to sugarcoat me now? ” She asked, trying to break free again but he held on tightly.
” I swear I’m not doing this cause I have fallen for her nothing, it’s just cause she lost her memory cause of me and as for the divorce papers, trust me she will sign them immediately she’s back to her normal self, I can assure you that ” He said and she raised her brows.
” How sure are you? ”
” I did somethings that hurt her feelings and it’s all my fault she lost her memory, she told me she hated me before she lost her memory, and that means.. ” He pecked her lips.
” She’s definitely signing the papers once she’s regained her memories and that’s all we have to do now, wait til she’s regained them and by that, please play along to whatever game we’re playing to her, okay? ” He asked as he pecked her lips again.
” Promise you won’t leave me for her? ” Ella asked, staring intently at him.
” I promise ” He said as he pecked her lips again.
” Okay, but ensure you don’t act any lovey-dovey things with her ” Ella said with a pout and he smiled.
” I won’t ” He assured.
* Lyra’s Room *
Lyra smirked before drawing down the curtains. ” My husband seemed to be having an affair with my so called twin sister. Was I aware when I still had my memory? ” Lyra suddenly asked and that seemed to sweep Tia off her feet, she didn’t expect Lyra to suddenly find out like that.
” W.. what do you mean? ” She pretended to be oblivious of what she meant.
” He kissed her deeply right at my view and then pecked her forehead continuously and some other things couples do, I guess I was right earlier then, he doesn’t love me. But if I was aware then, why didn’t I try to file a divorce? Was I thay obsessed with him? ” Lyra asked no one but herself.
” I.. I.. don’t know ” Tia muttered and looked away.
” I know you know somethings but you won’t say them, I won’t bother myself then, I don’t care whatever thing they are. The real me would handle then when she’s back to life, but for now, I wanna rest and act like I know nothing ’cause I really don’t care ” Lyra said in smiles as she landed on the bed and Tia chuckled.
” This you is fun.. really fun ” She muttered to her own hearing only.
