She dialed his number again and as thought, he wouldn’t pick. She let out a sigh before dropping her phone.
There’s this part in her still thinking Alex is Bryan. It might look like she’s crazy, but something’s definitely not right somewhere and she would find out.
But does this mean she doesn’t trust Bryan? No, she trusts him so much but he had always told her he can’t reveal himself to her now, not until she’s his completely, not until she’s ready to let go of Bruce.
Not until she divorces Bruce, then he can show himself to her and that is making her think he’s definitely one of Bruce’s friend.
He wants her to divorce Bruce and then the can be together without having to face any problems from Bruce.
That’s what she thinks and she knows she’s right, something tells her she’s right.
” Should I stylishly ask Alex if he knows whom Bryan is and see if he would react weirdly or try to ask if he knows anyone with the name *Lyra*? ”
” Yeah, I should do that ”
She walked out of her room and headed downstairs to where Alex was still sitted.
” Hi ” She said slowly, she still has to apologize for earlier.
” Hi ” Alex raised his head to her.
” About earlier.. ”
” About earlier ” She cut him off and he nodded, indicating for her to speak on.
” I’m sorry, I.. actually thought you was with my phone ” She came up with anything meaningful.
Alex’s brows rose. ” Your phone? ” He asked as he tried to wonder how that had to do with what she did earlier.
” Yeah, I thought it was mine cause I actually misplaced it earlier, and you know we actually have the same type of phone ” She said and Alex only raised his brows, he definitely didn’t think there was a real and clear meaning to what she told him.
” Um.. do you perhaps know anyone with the name Lyra apart from me? ” She asked, not wasting time at all.
Alex raised his brows the more. ” Why did you ask? ”
” Um.. I was just wondering, I saw some Lyra saved as a contact ” She replied and Alex raised his brows the more.
” Are you going through my phone? ” He asked and she coughed lightly.
” What?.. no.. of course not, why would I do that? ” She muttered.
” Um.. okay, it’s my little sis. She’s named Lyra ” He replied.
” Really? ” She asked and he nodded.
” Oh, that’s great then. Thanks for being truthful ” Lyra said but deep inside her, she’s still finding it hard to believe what he said.
” It’s nothing ” Alex replied tho he’s still confused on why she was asking him such questions.
Lyra passed him a weird smile before walking away to her room.
She landed on the bed and then dialing Bryan’s number, but he wouldn’t pick, she decided to message him.
* Can you at least pick my call so I can explain what it’s about, you’re getting the wrong idea * She sent to him but he wouldn’t reply still.
She sighed as she dropped her phone and at the same time, Tia walked in.
” So, you called me? ” She asked as she sat on the bed.
” Um yeah.. so the thing is.. I think Alex is Bryan! ” She blurted out and stopped to read Tia’s expression.
” I don’t understand.. Sire Alex is your lover?” Tia asked confusingly.
” Yeah, I think so ” Lyra replied and Tia let out an unbelievably scoff.
” And how’s that possible? ” She asked and Lyra let out a sigh.
” I know you must probably be thinking this is some sort of joke but it’s not, I really think he’s Bryan ” Lyra said seriously and when Tia noticed how serious Lyra was, she paused briefly before speaking up again.
” Wait, and what made you think so? ”
” So the thing is.. I dialed Bryan’s number the other day and at the same time, trust me.. Alex’s phone rang and I clearly saw him reject the call and at the same time the call ended over here, trust me I thought at first that was a coincidence cause when I dialed the number the second time Bryan picked the call but Alex was in front of me doing nothing.. ”
” And that explains that it’s a coincidence ” Tia cut her off.
” Well, until my eyes caught a contact on his phone.. ” She trailed off and Tia raised her brows.
” Lyra Cutie! ” She dropped the bombshell and Tia gasped out loudly.
” Only Bryan calls you that! And who’s Lyra? ”
” Well, I asked him.. he said it was his sister and I asked Bryan to screenshot my contact saved on his phone and it was *Cutie * alone and that’s making me think it’s a coincidence but then, I was on a call with Bryan some hours ago and I walked downstairs only to see Alex also on a call ” She said and Tia could only stare on in shock.
” Really? Does that really mean Sire Alex is Bryan? ” Tia asked, not knowing what to believe.
” Well, until I snatched his phone right from his hand but it was his mom ” Lyra muttered and Tia’s eyes widened.
” You snatched his phone? ” She asked unbelievably.
” Well, I couldn’t believe it myself. I did but then it turned out to be his mom, once again proving me wrong that he might not be Bryan ” She muttered.
Tia let out a sigh before turning to Lyra.
” What if he isn’t Bryan then? Or what if he actually is and he’s hiding it from you cause of some candid reason? You trust him, don’t you? ”
” I do but then.. ”
” He wouldn’t hid himself from you if it isn’t an important reason, so if he really is Alex, why not let him be and probably maybe when he’s ready, he would inform you ” Tia said and Lyra let out a sigh.
” Do you know the real reason why I’m doing this? ” She asked but Tia shook her head.
” I badly wants him to be Bryan ” She muttered and Tia raised her brows unbelievably.
” You want him?.. ”
” Yeah, I want him to be Bryan cause to me I feel like he is Bryan or it’s cause I feel like Bryan is near to me but I just don’t know..
” The way he speaks like he badly wants me to see him but it’s not time. I feel like he’s someone close and I badly want to see him.. and hug him.. and kiss him, I don’t care if that’s going to be the last time, I just want it now.. I don’t care no reason why he’s hiding, I crave him ” Lyra muttered.
Tia sighed as she moved closer to Lyra and pulled her into her arms. ” How about you inform Bryan about all this, even if he really isn’t Alex. Tell him you badly wants to meet him even if it’s once. Let him know how much you badly wants to see him ” Tia said.
” You think that’s going to work? ” Lyra asked, snuggling closer to Tia.
” Yeah, it will.. it should ” She muttered and Lyra nodded. ” Yeah, I should try that ” She said as she pulled away from Tia’s arms.
” But before then.. I wanna confirm my suspicions one last time and I promise I won’t talk about it anymore ” Lyra said and Tia raised her brows.
” What is it you want to do? ” She asked.
” Is there a way I could get Alex’s phone, I would like to go through his chats with the *Lyra Cutie* to be really sure, it ain’t me ” She muttered and Tia shook her head hurriedly
” No.. No.. no we ain’t doing that! ” She said at once as she stood up.
Lyra also got up from the bed.
” I know we could get caught but please, I just want to confirm my suspicions ” She pleaded.
” No! What if we get caught and he informs Bruce and then they find out you are having suspicions about Alex being your lover! Come on! And then you going through Alex’s private chats is an invasion of privacy! ” Tia opposed but Lyra kept on pleading.
” I swear if we get caught, I will take full responsibility for it ” She said and Tia sighed before giving in.

” You got it? ” Lyra asked as she rushed into her room and locking the door behind.
” Yeah.. here ” Tia handed over Alex’s phone to her and she hurriedly scrolled through his messages searching for *Lyra Cutie*
” I found it ” She whispered and Tia hurried over to her and they both sat down ready to go through Alex’s chat with the anonymous.
How they got the phone? Lyra had distracted Alex by talking about random things with him while Tia sneaked the phone into her pockets and walked away to wait for Lyra in the room, and after minutes Lyra came to meet her in the room.
They were done scrolling through the chats and Lyra looked away in embarrassment and disappointment.
Alex was right, her suspicions were wrong. Alex wasn’t Bryan in no way at all. *Lyra Cutie* was truly Alex’s sister.
She handed over the phone to Tia without facing her. Tia collected the phone and without saying a word, walked out of the room to carefully sneak the phone back to where Alex was sitted without knowing and,,
It was successful!
She returned back to Lyra who had a sad look on now.
” Are you okay? ” She asked but she shook her head.
” No, I was wrong. He’s not Bryan, If only it was true. I only wanted him to be Bryan but then I was wrong. I should apologize to Bryan for not believing him and then asking him about some weird things and then to Alex, for invading his privacy ” She muttered and Tia raised her brows.
” You will confess to him that you did that? ” She asked unbelievably and Lyra nodded.
” Yeah, but before then I should apologize to Bryan first ” She muttered.
” You need privacy? ” Tia asked and she nodded.
Tia left the room immediately. Lyra inhaled deeply as she dialed Bryan’s number.
It took her four dials before he could pick, he was probably still mad at her.
” Hey ” He said, uninterestedly.
” I’m sorry ” Was the first thing she said.
” For? ” Bryan asked, feigning ignorance.
” For asking you to send a screenshot of my name saved on your contact, you must be thinking it’s stupid but it really is for asking that and that’s all you definitely think but it’s more than that ” She said.
” What do you mean? ” Bryan asked.
” I actually… You know you used to talk to be about the reason why you can’t reveal yourself to me yet?.. ”
” Yes.. ”
” And I actually had this wide thoughts over the days that you was probably a friend of my husband’s who’s afraid of my husband finding out we’re dating and that’s why you’re hiding ” Lyra said and Bruce let out a chuckle as he found it funny.
” Alright, that’s funny. Why would you think that? I swear, it’s not that, I told you I have reasons for concealing my face or anything about me but it’s not that. Babe… I’m not a coward, okay? When it’s time, I will definitely reveal myself to you ” Bryan said softly and Lyra smiled lightly.
” Yeah you’re right, but I didn’t see it that way and then… Remember I told you about this guy who was living with us now? Alex? ”
” Alex.. oh yeah.. Alex ” Bryan muttered.
” I… I actually.. thought he was you.. like you was him and.. like.. ” Lyra sighed hurtfully.
Bryan found it funny at first but hearing Lyra’s tone, he knew it was making her sad.
” Lyra.. are you okay? ” He asked worriedly.
” No.. No, I’m not ” She muttered and he felt his heart aching so bad.
