Oliver and Aria walked out hand in hand, they walked back to the others. They all started clapping the moment the couple approached them. Aria was surprised, she wondered if they had seen them or overheard her discussion with Oliver
She turned to Oliver immediately with a scrutinizing look on her face. “Were they all aware?” she queried.
“Yeah, right from the start, I needed their help as well.” Oliver replied and chuckled.
“Congratulations on your engagement, Mom and Dad,” Lena said with a broad smile, Oliver rushed to her and lifted her in his arms, embracing her.
Aria smiled, then she turned her attention to Rosie, she started towards her slowly. Rosie’s heart picked race, she knew what Aria must be thinking, she had known about the plan the whole time and she never told her, rather she helped by urging Aria to forgive and accept Oliver.
Aria got to her and stood silently, with a poker face to hide her feelings. Rosie hates it when she can’t read her thoughts and that was what that look was about, a face devoid of emotions.
Rosie was silent too, expecting to get scolded, but Aria did something different, she suddenly smiled and hugged her. “Thank you for being my friend,” she said softly.
Rosie finally smiled in relief. “You know you really gave me a fright there, I can’t wish for anything else than being your friend and seeing you happy.” She chuckled and tightened the embrace.
“The pleasure is mine sis, what can I do without you?” Aria chuckled softly.
Aria finally broke the embrace and walked to Oliver and Princess Lena, she smiled and squatted down, then hugged Lena. “I love you sweetheart.”
“I love you more mom, and I am glad that I can finally be with both of my parents. Wait, I will be with you two at the same time, right?” she suddenly queried.
Aria chuckled and stood up, then she held hands with Oliver. “Yes Princess, we are going to get married again and live together like before, so be prepared because I am going to steal your dad from you,” she said and they burst into laughter.
Sammy walked to them and extended a hand for a shake. “Congratulations man, I am happy for you,” he said softly.
Oliver smiled. “Come here you jerk, I am not a lady so your fiancée won’t kill you,” he joked and dragged Sammy into an embrace. They all laughed.
After Sammy unlocked himself from the embrace and stepped back, Susan walked to them with a small smile on her face, it seemed like she had something on her mind that she wanted to say.
“Hey Susan,” Oliver said softly and smiled.
“Hey… congratulations to you two,” she said and smiled, then she turned to Aria. “And please don’t hate me, Aria… I am not your enemy and I don’t want to take your man from you, he is not even my type,” she added and they burst into laughter.
“It is alright Susan, thank you for all you did for us and the injury too, that was kind of my fault, I am sorry.” Aria apologized.
“Huh? Your fault? How? I clearly remember climbing that bike and falling while obsessed with speed and desire to beat Oliver,” she said and laughed softly.
“Well, Oliver had brought you to help him get me back, if you didn’t come here, then you would have never gotten injured.”
“Well… yeah, that is true, but I also had a lot of fun here and all the expenses were on him by the way,” she replied and chuckled. “Also, I love to see two people share the thing you two share, it’s a special thing… love,” she said softly and smiled.
“Thank you, now let’s get back to the part where I am not your type, what then is your type, you have been single your whole life,” Oliver replied with a crumpled face and she laughed.
“That is not funny, don’t make me break your heart a second time,” she threatened. “Now if you wish to know my type of guys, I like able bodied underworld Mafia lords who look good in a hat, do you know where I can find one?” she queried.
“Huh?” Oliver muttered with a look of puzzlement.
“Okay… that is a strange but unique choice in men,” Aria said with a spooked expression on her face, of course she was lying, she was just trying to be nice.
“Yeah, I know that you think I am insane, but trust me… Bad guys are hot, and Oliver, I haven’t been single my whole life, so the joke is on you,” she replied and they all laughed.
“It’s your life Susan, be with who makes you happy. Anyway, we are getting married along with Sammy and Rosie tomorrow at Las Vegas, I would love to see you there,” Oliver invited her.
Susan smiled. “Sure, I would be there, and the ticket fee is on you by the way,” she said and they smiled.
“I love your humor, don’t lose it for no reason,” Aria said in a Jamaica accent and Rosie chuckled.
“I won’t, see you tomorrow Romeo and Juliet,” she said and winked at them, then she turned around and walked off.
Oliver took Aria’s hand as they watched her walk away. “She is awesome,” Aria said in a whisper.
“Yeah, she is really one of a kind,” Oliver replied. “A rare gem.”
Princess Lena walked to them from behind and separated their hands, and then she held them both. “Come on Mom and Dad, our work here is done, we have had enough sightseeing for a week, let’s go home now.” She said softly.
Oliver and Arianna looked down to her and smiled; they both squat down and hugged her at the same time. They had so much love for her, she was their whole world. The only reason why it was possible for them to be together today; Princess Lena Gomez!!
Lena was the happiest, all her life, her only wish was to have both of her parents and that wish had just come to pass.
