“Mr. Lewis!” Deandre knocked on the door, bracing himself before calling out, then glanced at the other two.
“These two cunning men, they report to Mr. Lewis so quickly! I wonder what bad things they’ve said about me this time. After all, they’ve always been so sly and deceitful.”
Mr. Lewis glanced at Deandre standing at the door, his face darkening. “Deandre, come in, I was just talking about you.”
Seeing Mr. Lewis’s grim expression, Deandre nervously chuckled and walked in.
