Chapter 270: Come with Us!

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-6-5

Listening to what the man said, it was clear that the person causing trouble was no ordinary figure, as an average person could not reach such a level.
“Now, many gamblers are following his lead. If this continues, our business today… won’t be able to carry on,” someone expressed concern.
“Mr. Hinton, what should we do?”
Mr. Hinton, however, showed a faint smile and said with interest, “It seems this guy is quite skilled in gambling. It’s been a long time since I’ve encountered someone like him, quite intriguing.”
Then he changed the subject, “Is anyone following him?”
“Yes.”
“Have them focus the cameras on him. I want to see what tricks he’s up to.”
“Understood.”
Soon, the surveillance video in Mr. Hinton’s office opened, and several cameras were focused on a certain area of the casino where Quentin’s figure appeared in his field of vision.
At the sight of Quentin, Pockmark’s eyes sharpened, “Mr. Hinton, that’s the guy I’m talking about!”
“Oh?”
Mr. Hinton’s gaze darkened, he tapped the ash off his cigar, “Well, what a coincidence.”
The man asked again, “Mr. Hinton, what should we…”
Mr. Hinton waved his hand indifferently, “Let’s see first, don’t disturb me.”
A few minutes later, Quentin’s chips in front of him immediately multiplied by about ten.
And Mr. Hinton’s expression became more and more serious. With his insight, he couldn’t figure out this guy’s strategy? It was truly strange.
The man received a phone call, his face changed drastically. After hanging up, he said, “Mr. Hinton, this guy has already won over ten million downstairs!”
“If this continues…”
Mr. Hinton pondered slightly, indifferent, “Send about a dozen good men down to meet him. Tell them I want to see him and bring him up.”
He spoke with authority.
“Yes!”
The man immediately turned to make arrangements.
Pockmark trembled nervously, asking, “Mr. Hinton, what about me…”
“Get lost!”
“Useless!”
Mr. Hinton glanced coldly at him. Pockmark left the office as if granted a reprieve, limping, and closed the door behind him.
However, once Mr. Hinton targeted someone, it was over for them. He was getting his revenge on this guy!
“Hmph, kid, you’ve messed with my Pockmark. Your fate won’t be any better!”
Mr. Hinton made a move, and this guy still didn’t die? After all, Mr. Hinton was one of the top bosses in the underground world of Stresall. Those who could stand up to Mr. Hinton were few.
Moreover…
Unlike other thugs, Mr. Hinton had quite a few skilled men under him, including some fighters! Even if Quentin was powerful, he couldn’t handle so many opponents with just his fists!
In the casino hall, in front of a certain gambling table, it was crowded with people, squeezing in to get a glimpse. Quentin sat in the center of the crowd, staring directly at the dealer opposite him, whose face was unpleasant, hands trembling slightly.
Since he arrived here, it hadn’t been ten minutes, and he had already won over ten million! And without a single loss!
These gamblers had come to see the true face of this God of Gamblers!
Emery stared at the pile of chips, his eyes wide. Over ten million! This could not only pay off the gambling debt but also leave a large sum of money leftover!
He nudged Quentin and whispered, “Quentin, why don’t we leave? With over ten million, we can manage. If we don’t leave now, we might not be able to leave at all.”
Charlotte also spoke up, “You’ve won so much money here. The people here won’t be happy. If you don’t leave now, you might not be able to leave later.”
Quentin remained calm, “It’s okay.”
His gaze fell on the dealer, “I’ll continue to go all in this round!”
“Bring it on-”
He pushed the chips in front of him with a clatter.
The dealer looked livid. He was stuck in a difficult situation.
They had been in this game for many years. Where had they encountered such a challenge before?
But today, he really had to admit defeat.
This wasn’t a small amount. If he really lost, what would they do?
“Let’s start!”
“Are you kidding me? Such a big casino and you can’t even afford ten million?”
“Tch-”
“Why bother being a dealer? Go home and plant sweet potatoes, hahaha…”
The surrounding gamblers burst into laughter, ridiculing and mocking.
Quentin raised an eyebrow, teasingly, “What’s wrong? Isn’t this supposed to be the largest casino in Stresall? Yet you lack even this much courage?”
The dealer looked miserable.
Just then, a hand rested on Quentin’s shoulder, and a deep voice came over, “Kid, Mr. Hinton respects you. He wants you and your friends to come with us.”
Quentin glanced up slightly.
He saw a man in a black suit standing beside him, and behind the man, more than a dozen burly men pushed through the crowd.
