“It depends on how much they think they’re worth, buying life with money,” another person sneered.
This little group of theirs used to be mercenaries abroad, but after returning home, they lived a quiet life for a while.
However, they still lived at the bottom of society.
But how could people like them be willing to live like this for a lifetime?
So, following the suggestion of Teeny, they made this crazy decision!
But once successful, they could live freely for the rest of their lives.
You know, everyone present today is some influential figure, each with a prestigious identity. How much is a life worth?
If they could control the situation, wouldn’t these guys be at their mercy?
Teeny spoke up, “I’ve already explored the escape route after the deed is done. You guys follow this route when the time comes.”
“There’s a huge sewer entrance behind the school, leading directly outside the city. I’ve arranged for someone to pick you up there. Once successful, you leave.”
“Got it!”
They made detailed and meticulous plans, loaded their guns and put on their masks.
Teeny added, “I’ll leave first, to avoid getting caught later. Don’t contact unless absolutely necessary.”
He turned and closed the door behind him.
In the dimly lit room, the few of them exchanged glances, seeing the burning flames of desire in each other’s eyes… seeking wealth and fortune amidst danger!
Blame could only fall on these unfortunate guys who had caught their attention…
No one else could be blamed.
What happened in secret, apart from them, no one else knew.
On the surface, Sloburg Kindergarten remained peaceful, unaware of the brewing storm beneath the tranquility…

On the large playground.
The teacher led her class of children, sitting in designated areas, with many parents already seated beside their children.
Janessa and Theo were sitting there, with a hint of anxiety on their faces.
Other children’s parents had all arrived, but why hadn’t theirs?
Seeing other parents arriving, they couldn’t help but feel envious…
“Hello, teacher. How’s Adelaide doing in school?” A middle-aged woman sitting beside Theo and Janessa greeted the teacher enthusiastically while inquiring about Adelaide’s performance at school.
She had long known about Adelaide’s performance at school, always ranking first. Now, asking publicly, her intention was evident…
Naturally, the teacher was willing to give her a pleasant answer, “Adelaide is doing well in school, often ranking first. You’re doing a great job with Adelaide’s education, Mrs. Rosario!”
Mrs. Rosario chuckled, “It’s alright, I work in an educational institution. Adelaide has been sensible since she was young!”
“I didn’t even want her to study at our institution, but she insisted on going. Ah, sometimes it’s a hassle when children are too sensible…”
Little Adelaide, who was standing nearby, pursed her lips. She didn’t like studying at all; it was just her mother forcing her. But she dared not speak; otherwise, she would get a beating when she got home.
Upon hearing Mrs. Rosario’s words, other parents also opened up the conversation.
“Mrs. Rosario, you work in an educational institution? What a coincidence! I run an extracurricular interest training institution. Nice to meet you!”
“Hello!”
“I manage a high-end restaurant.”
“I’m the manager of a financial company…”
“Oh, your status and position are incomparable to ours. My annual income isn’t high, just a few million a year, just a high-level employee!”
“A few million is already pretty good. I work at a restaurant, and it’s only two or three times yours, yet you’re too modest…”
The group chatted lively, comparing silently, trying to outdo each other.
Only Janessa and Theo sat there, lonely and ignored.
“Janessa, Theo!”
A melodious voice came over, and a girl with twin ponytails ran over to them. “Why haven’t your mom and dad arrived yet?”
Janessa and Theo shook their heads.
The ponytailed girl climbed onto the chair next to them, giggling, “Then I’ll stay here and chat with you guys.”
“Aubree, aren’t you going to be with your mom and dad?” Aubree Kim pouted, “My mom is still at work and hasn’t arrived yet. Who cares about me?”
Adelaide also ran over, “What are you guys doing here? Hey, Janessa, Theo, didn’t you say your mom and dad would come today? Why haven’t they arrived yet?”
“I know! You’re lying again. Your mom and dad definitely don’t want you! Joe is right, you’re just unwanted kids!”
“We’re not!” Janessa’s face turned red as she retorted loudly.
“Yes, you are!” Adelaide shouted at them.
The children’s argument attracted the attention of nearby parents, who frowned slightly.
Aubree tilted her face up, “Adelaide, you always bully Janessa and Theo. I’m going to tell the teacher!”
Adelaide’s face flashed with a hint of arrogance, “I don’t care! They are wild kids! Look at everyone else, whose mom and dad aren’t around? Only their mom and dad haven’t come!”
“Their mom and dad definitely don’t want them. Unwanted kids, what else could they be?”
“And Joe also said… their mom had them before getting married, that’s called illegitimate children! Irresponsible women would do that!”
Upon hearing this, the adults around, their eyes toward the two children, showed a hint of disapproval.
