Chapter 229: Trouble is Coming!

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-6-5

Seeing Quentin walk in, everyone’s faces were filled with disdain. This guy really knows how to put on a show. Let’s see how he handles it later. Parker Collins sneered, “Mr. Holland, what’s up? Parked the car?”
“I’ve never seen anyone around me drive a Maybach before. How about you let us have a look later?”
“Haha,” others laughed one after another, “We’d like to see that too.”
Quentin responded casually, “If you’ve never seen one, go check it out at the dealership.”
“Don’t you already have one ready?” Parker Collins sneered again, “What’s the matter, reluctant to show us?”
“Think what you want.”
Quentin sat down, not wanting to waste time with these clowns.
Anna stumbled into the restroom, feeling a bit dizzy. After coming out, she washed her face at the sink. As she raised her head to leave, she bumped into a woman walking towards her.
“Ouch!”
The woman fell to the ground, glaring at Anna angrily, “Damn it, can’t you see?”
Anna raised her eyebrows defiantly, “Can’t you see clearly? Are you blind? Dare to bump into me!”
The woman’s anger surged, standing up from the ground, “B*tch, still talking tough? I’ll have someone kill you!”
“Do you know who my boyfriend is?”
She raised her hand and slapped towards Anna’s face!
Anna, already in a bad mood and a bit tipsy, blocked the slap.
In the next moment, her hand slapped back fiercely!
The woman let out a scream, crashing into the nearby wall. Anna didn’t relent, grabbing her by the hair!
The woman received several slaps in a row, her face swollen, hair disheveled, looking fierce and embarrassed.
“Spit.” Anna kicked the woman a few times with her high heels before leaving, with a victorious posture.
The woman roared behind her, “Just wait, I’ll make you regret it!”
Anna paid no attention.
She wasn’t afraid of such an old hag. What’s there to show off about? Besides, with Parker Collins backing her up, she wasn’t afraid of anything.
Parker Collins was tough in this area. If this woman dared to come, she would definitely end up toothless.
Anna swayed back to the private room, treating all this as a simple episode, never taking it to heart.
Back at her seat, Anna complained, “There was a woman who bumped into me when I was leaving.”
“She dared to act tough with me, so I slapped her, knocked her teeth out.”
“Deserves to be beaten!”
“She even threatened me, asking if I knew who her boyfriend is? Ridiculous!”
“Just because she has a boyfriend?”
“My boyfriend hasn’t even spoken yet. Maybe when her boyfriend sees mine, he’ll kneel down and call him daddy, Parker, right?”
She was proud and boastful.
Parker Collins nodded slightly, “Not bad, I have a good reputation around here. Most people have to call me Mr. Collins when they see me.”
“At least… much better than some who only know how to show off. Darling, I’ll support you.” He assured, patting his chest.
Anna looked satisfied, “Darling, with you around, I’m not afraid of anything.”
“Really enviable!”
“Anna, you’re so lucky! To have Mr. Collins as such a secure boyfriend! In this regard, you’re much better than Charlotte.” Rosie Brown said sarcastically.
Anna said, “It’s not Charlotte’s fault. It’s just that some men are not as good as my Parker Collins.”
Charlotte felt uncomfortable hearing this. Wasn’t there supposed to be an apology dinner today? Why does Anna show no intention of apologizing and keeps targeting Quentin? Has she considered her feelings?
By belittling Quentin like this, isn’t she also slapping Charlotte’s face?
Just then, there was a sudden loud bang, the door was kicked open forcefully, hitting the wall and bouncing back. From outside came a heavy, chaotic footsteps.
A group of imposing, murderous men walked in from outside.
