Chapter 186: I Do Have

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-6-5

“A billion-dollar gift? Quentin, don’t bullshit me.” Nikolas sneered coldly, “Do you think you’re still the same as before?”
“Enough!”
“Even if you were still the young master of the Holland family, casually giving out gifts worth billions is absolutely impossible. Do you have that much liquidity?”
“Who the hell are you fooling?”
Frank burst into laughter, taunting, “I think you, this mourning dog, have lost your mind. Do you believe anyone will trust you just by babbling nonsense?”
“I can’t even come up with that much money right now! And you? Dream on!”
Quentin spoke calmly, “Believe it or not, it’s up to you. It’s none of my business.”
The shattered star jade Buddha he held was a carefully selected gift from his subordinate.
In his mind, this was for Charlotte and her family, so it had to be classy. If Charlotte’s family wanted to give it to Russell, it was their freedom, and he wouldn’t interfere.
If he personally gave it to Russell… a gift so valuable, Russell shouldn’t even think about it!
He doesn’t deserve it!
Yet, these guys can’t see it?
It’s quite amusing.
“Stubborn as a mule.” Frank sneered coldly, looking at Quentin as if he were a clown.
The onlookers all wore mocking expressions, after all…
In their eyes, Quentin was just a clown!
Too ridiculous!
Now, at his position in Stresall, he’s not even worth a dog!
Still pretending?
“Enough!” Russell angrily reprimanded, “Quentin, shut your mouth!”
“You dare to hand me this junk, what do you take me for?”
“Do I accept any junk?”
“You get out with your crap right now–”
His furious roar resounded, and with a swift wave of his hand, the jade Buddha in Nikolas’ hand crashed to the ground, instantly shattering into pieces…
Quentin remained expressionless, knowing that they would soon regret it.
Emery and his family felt embarrassed.
At this moment, they felt a strong sense of humiliation.
Russell went too far. He didn’t regard them as family at all!
Now, those mocking and sneering gazes felt like knives cutting into them, making them wish they could disappear into a hole!
Charlotte, a look of discontent on her face, said, “Grandpa! Even if the gift Quentin gave isn’t very valuable, it’s still a heartfelt gesture from us. How could you do this!”
Russell trembled with anger and said in a deep voice, “Today is my seventieth birthday! The most important day of my life. Among everyone present, who isn’t a prominent figure in Cronard? Whose gift is worth less than six figures?”
“This man is so broke, sends me a pile of junk, but you still associate with such trash”
“Quentin, get out right away!”
As Russell’s angry reprimand fell, Frank immediately caught on, signaling the pre-arranged bodyguards who immediately surrounded Quentin.
Frank’s smile turned icy, “Sorry, you’re not welcome here.”
“A stray dog like you is not worthy of entering this mansion! You have no right to stand here!”
Georgia and Brian Parry smirked as they strolled over, pointing at Quentin mockingly, “Broke guy! This is Mr. Duncan’s property! A multi-million dollar mansion, are you worthy to enter here? Now get out on your own!”
“Lest Mr. Duncan beats you and kicks you out, that would be embarrassing!”
“Hahaha–”
Laughter filled the surroundings.
“Mr. Duncan is mighty!”
“Damn it, this guy, is he even worthy to be on Mr. Duncan’s turf? Doesn’t he have any self-awareness?”
“Get out–”
Those opportunistic lackeys immediately sided with Frank, vehemently reprimanding Quentin.
Quentin smiled calmly, “Villa 18 in Portdall Villa Area is just the worst in this villa area.”
Frank’s face darkened upon hearing this, “You really have no shame! Even if it’s the worst here, that’s something you’ll never achieve in your lifetime!”
“You talk like you can afford a mansion here, do you? If you don’t, shut up!”
“You, this waste, don’t deserve Charlotte!”
Quentin smiled calmly, “I don’t have one. But I did buy a set for my wife, she has it.”
“Oh?”
Hearing this, everyone was stunned, then burst into laughter.
Frank smirked even more, “Oh! I’d love to hear which mansion Mr. Holland bought, I know all the owners here.”
“Tell us then.”
“Villa One,” Quentin said calmly.
