Urgent and heavy footsteps echoed as a dozen black-clad, masked figures swiftly emerged from the shadows.
Each wielding a long knife, exuding a fierce killing intent, their cold eyes locked onto the two individuals.
The lead figure in black sneered, “Didn’t expect you, kid, to have some skills to detect our presence.”
Quentin smiled without a word.
Eileen swiftly drew her dagger with a swish, “Who sent you?”
“We work for Myriad. You think you can get any answers from us?” The lead man sneered, “After you two are dead, ask in hell.”
“Myriad…” Quentin’s eyes narrowed slightly, “These rats aren’t dead yet?”
“Kill-” The lead man charged forward, his sword unsheathed in an instant, cold light slashing towards Eileen, while many other black-clad assassins followed suit, sweeping in like a dark storm, slashing and striking.
Like a black cloud pressing down.
Eileen wielded her dagger, infused with internal force, slicing the lead assassin’s sword in half at the waist, the dagger swiftly beheading him.
Until his dying breath, the man couldn’t even see how he died.
Those assassins were completely taken aback, their leader was a master at the Profound Realm, yet he was easily killed with a single strike?
Is this woman a monster!
Eileen agilely moved among the black-clad assassins, each swing of her dagger taking a life.
Too brutal!
Simply terrifying!
The assassins held their knives in front of them, eyes locked on Eileen, stepping back one by one.
“Who are you?” A trembling assassin asked in fear.
Quentin didn’t reply.
Lighting a cigarette, he casually raised his chin, “Leave one alive.”
As one of Quentin’s four henchmen, Eileen possessed immense strength. Dealing with these small fries was a piece of cake.
Following Quentin’s orders, Eileen unleashed a massacre, swiftly dispatching the assassins attempting to flee.
The last assassin, scared out of his wits, tried to run but was struck down by Eileen, bloodied and unconscious. She then tossed him in front of Quentin…
“You guys… you guys…”
The assassin had never seen such a sight before, his heart pounding in his chest.
Quentin dropped his cigarette, coldly overlooking him, indifferent, “I’ll give you a chance. Tell me who sent you, and I’ll leave you intact.”
“I-I really don’t know! I was just a small fry in Myriad…”
“Don’t know the truth?”
Quentin arched an eyebrow.
Tears streamed down his face, “I really don’t know! Please, spare me, treat me like I’m nothing…”
Quentin raised his foot slightly, and before he could finish speaking, the man was sent flying, chest caved in, internal organs shattered, dead from his injuries!
“Get someone to clean this up…” Quentin coldly turned and headed back to the mansion, “Also, immediately find out the location of Myriad’s branch.”
“Yes!”
Eileen took out her phone.
At the entrance, Sylvia peeked out, “Bro, what just happened? It was so noisy…”
Quentin covered her eyes and pulled her inside, “Eileen is dealing with a few pests. Don’t look, it might scare you.”
At the mention of pests, Sylvia stuck out her tongue, choosing not to look, as young girls are typically afraid of such things.
A few minutes later, a group of black-clad individuals appeared silently, swiftly cleaning up the scene before discreetly leaving.
In the Holland family hall, Quentin glanced at the arriving Eileen and asked, “Did you find out?”
“I did. Myriad does have a small branch in Stresall, and the assassins this time were indeed sent by them. As for the mastermind behind this… we haven’t found out yet.”
Quentin stood up, donning his coat, hands behind his back as he walked out, “I’ll find out once I get there.”
Quentin wasn’t afraid of Myriad, but now that they had attacked the Holland family, Sylvia was in danger.
He wouldn’t let Sylvia be exposed to danger!
In that case…
It’s time to eliminate any future troubles!
