“Haha…” Melvin laughed heartily, his expression filled with triumph.
“Do you understand?”
“Although my Conley family may not be as wealthy as the top four richest families, we are still a prestigious household in Stresall. And you, you’re nothing more than a stray dog.”
Melvin leaned on his cane, his face full of pride.
“This is my second son, a high-ranking member of the Stresall Business Association. With just a word from him, your shabby little restaurant, which you’ve struggled so hard to open, will be shut down!”

The harsh-faced woman interjected, “And me! Once I go back, I’ll immediately report to our leader to shut down your shop and confiscate it. Furthermore, I’ll have you permanently blacklisted in the commerce industry!”
“I can call over the city guard with a single word,” another man sneered. “Who let you, someone who doesn’t know his place, provoke our Conley family?”
“Don’t worry, inside I’ll make sure you’re well taken care of.”
Each of them announced their decisions as if they were invincible, as if they could truly decide everything!
Just then, the door was suddenly swung open, and a group of people stormed in energetically!
All eyes turned towards them.
