“Please come in.”
Quentin’s tone was calm. He held respect for the doctors from the National Hospital; achieving excellence in the field of medicine was no simple feat.
“I really don’t understand why the Medical Saint called us here in such a hurry. Is it that urgent?” Among the five people, the only girl grumbled discontentedly.
“Just do as you’re told, don’t ask,” the young man in plain clothes reprimanded softly.
He knew that the person they were coming to treat this time had an extraordinary identity. Otherwise, their superiors wouldn’t have rushed them to this remote place within two hours.
“Thank you for your trouble,” Quentin responded calmly to their complaints.
He didn’t take their complaint personally.
“That’s right! We’re from the National Hospital. It’s your great fortune to have us come here to treat you,” the girl said proudly.
Quentin smiled without saying a word.
Only a young and ignorant girl would dare say such a thing. Even if the head of their hospital came, he wouldn’t dare speak to Quentin like that.
“My wife has an injury on her face. Can you help take a look and achieve the best result?” Quentin said lightly. “If you can’t handle it, I’ll have your hospital head come over personally.”
With that, Quentin ignored them and turned to Charlotte. “You stay with the doctors for a while. I have some matters to attend to.”
“Okay,” Charlotte nodded. “Remember to come back soon.”
After Quentin left the ward, the smile on his face gradually froze, replaced by a hint of solemnity and killing intent.
“Sir, everything is ready,” Eileen approached and reported.
Quentin lit a cigarette, exhaling a puff of smoke that shrouded his stern face, emanating a faint aura of authority. “Then, let’s go.”
In the Hill family’s mansion, the atmosphere was extremely heavy.
Jadyn Hill, the head of the Hill family, had a mournful expression on his face.
“Younger brother, rest in peace!”
He looked at Carl, who lay dead with his eyes wide open, and gently closed his eyes.
Having been brothers for forty to fifty years, their bond was deep.
Now, his own brother was killed, how could he not feel pain?
But the person who killed Carl was someone he couldn’t afford to provoke.
He felt hatred! But what could he do?
“Mr. Jadyn, this time the deaths of our Hill family members are all because of Charlotte, it’s her fault,” someone gritted his teeth.
“I will make her pay!” Jadyn’s anger burned within, “I can’t afford to offend the Governor of the Eastern Region, but I can play with a woman to death.”
“This time, she’s lucky, but she won’t be always that lucky.”
The Hill family couldn’t afford to offend the Governor of the Eastern Region, so all their anger could only be directed at Charlotte!
“Keep an eye on her, I will make her pay with her life!”
Jadyn’s tone was grim.
“Mr. Jadyn, someone has broken in.” Suddenly, several people rushed in from outside the door, their faces filled with fear.
“Who is it?”
Jadyn’s heart sank, “Whoever dares to cause trouble for our Hill family at this time is looking for death! Are they seeking death?”
The ground suddenly trembled, and the sound of numerous footsteps, like drumbeats, grew louder and more intense…
Suddenly, countless red lasers shot in from outside the gate, the glaring light making everyone from the Hill family squint their eyes slightly.
“Who the hell is it!?”
“Looking for death?”
The people of the Hill family were all holding back their anger.
But the next moment, when they saw figures holding rifles charging into the Hill family, their words were all stuck in their throats!
“Rifles! Damn it, these are… laser sights on the rifles!”
The faces of the people from the Hill family turned pale.
“Mr. Jadyn, we’re surrounded! There are many armed forces outside…”
Another group of people rushed into the Hill family hall, scrambling in fear, collapsing directly to the ground.
Jadyn’s pupils contracted, his face suddenly turned extremely pale.
How did so many armed forces suddenly appear at the Hill family’s mansion?
“Mr. Hill, long time no see.” A deep voice suddenly came from the door.
Amidst the orderly footsteps and the stern faces of the soldiers, a towering figure strode into the Hill family hall.
Under the Shura mask, his eyes glittered with icy coldness!
