“Sure,” Quentin replied. Today, he would appear as the Governor of the Eastern Region.

“Have you taken care of the minor things I instructed you about?” Quentin asked.
Eileen smiled, “Don’t worry, sir. I assure you, the Pittman father and son won’t even get near the gates of Night City.”
At the gates of Night City, tall and sharp-eyed security personnel stood before the checkpoint, carefully inspecting the identities of the many visitors.
“Dad, do you think that woman, Charlotte, will really come?” Nikolas Pittman stood to the side, sneering. “I feel like she won’t even get an access card.”
