Chapter 90: Foul Mouth

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-6-5

Russell angrily rebuked, “Quentin, shut your mouth! It’s Pittman family’s business, and it’s none of your business! Get out-”
Quentin pointed at him, his tone icy cold. “You know I’m not a part of the Pittman family, so don’t try to use your bullshit theory of being the head of the family to intimidate me.”
“Now, it’s my woman who has been wronged in the Pittman family. If you push me too far, I don’t care who you are, I’ll beat the crap out of you too.”
Quentin’s sharp and piercing gaze made it difficult for Russell to breathe. The sense of oppression was overwhelming. Russell was overwhelmed and couldn’t speak, but a great anger brewed within him.
As the head of the family, who did this guy think he was, daring to challenge him like this?
Russell was trembling with anger.
Georgia’s eyes flickered, and she nervously said, “Charlotte is so poor that she can’t afford this bag, but I can! That’s the evidence.”
“Then show us the receipt to prove that you bought this bag,” Quentin said sternly.
“Why… why should I?” Georgia was caught off guard.
“If you can’t produce it, then it means you’re lying, and that means you’re admitting to framing her,” Quentin replied.
“You… why should I show it to you? Who do you think you are?” Georgia’s face turned pale, infuriated and embarrassed by being exposed.
“If you can’t provide evidence, I can,” Quentin said calmly as he took out a receipt. “This is the record of my purchase when I bought the bag.”
After speaking, he slapped the receipt on the table!
“I gave this bag to Charlotte!”
The whole room erupted into a commotion. Everyone was stunned for a moment.
What’s going on? Didn’t this guy go bankrupt? Wasn’t all the property of the Holland family auctioned off? He just gave away a Chanel bag worth tens of thousands?
“Furthermore, I bought twenty bags for Charlotte, and they’re all here.” Quentin shook a sack, and luxury brand bags dropped out one by one.
Gucci, Chanel, Hermes… all kinds of brands, all kinds of high-end styles, they were all there!
The entire room fell into a deathly silence.
“I don’t believe it! You, a bankrupt dog, can afford luxury items? I’d be damned if I believe you! These must all be fake!” Georgia rushed over and picked up the receipt from the table.
She was instantly dumbfounded!
“Over three million?” She exclaimed in shock, almost falling to the ground in disbelief!
The other members of the Pittman family were also startled by the figure.
“Now, the truth is revealed,” Quentin said coldly, staring indifferently at her. “How do you account for this false accusation against Charlotte?”
“It’s a false accusation, so what? She doesn’t look like a decent person anyway.” Georgia stood her ground.
Maverick took on a scolding demeanor. “What’s wrong? As her uncle, I have the right to judge her.”
Russell pounded the armrest of his chair, assuming the role of the family head. He coldly declared, “This matter ends here, and no one is allowed to mention it again.”
“And… Charlotte, since you have so many bags, and Georgia seems to like them, why not give…”
Before he could finish his sentence, a loud slap echoed through the entire Pittman family hall, leaving everyone stunned.
Georgia’s face was left bloodied and bruised from Quentin’s slap, her cheek bleeding and the corner of her mouth oozing blood. She looked extremely disheveled, with a face full of disbelief.
“How dare you fucking hit me?”
Another resounding slap landed!
Quentin’s second slap sent her staggering backward.
“If you dare to speak out of turn again, I won’t just hit you, I’ll tear apart your filthy mouth,” he said menacingly.
