The two of them were surrounded, and the crowd unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, resulting in pitiful squeals…
When they finally left, they limped away, looking utterly miserable.
Charlotte was still baffled, unable to comprehend how Zaire’s attitude had suddenly changed like this. Had he truly turned over a new leaf?
Well, it worked out fine, at least one trouble had been eliminated.
Now the project could finally proceed!

In the blink of an eye, half a day had passed when Charlotte suddenly remembered that her parents were busy today, and Rashad was at his restaurant, meaning there was no one to pick up the children…
She couldn’t afford to be away at the moment.
After contemplating for a while, she decided to call Quentin, “Hey, do you have some time later? No one pick up Theo and Janessa today.”
“I have time. I’ll personally go and pick up the two kids.” Quentin agreed without hesitation.

At 4 PM, Quentin arrived punctually at Ockross Kindergarten. After signing his name and contact information, he walked into the kindergarten and headed towards the classroom where the two children were.
As he walked, he glanced at the class signs hanging above until he finally reached the classroom where the two kids were.
Thinking about the two adorable children, a gentle smile appeared on Quentin’s face…
But soon, he heard a burst of angry yelling coming from inside the classroom.
“Theo! Janessa! I’m asking you one last time, why did you steal those things? Speak up! Who gave you the audacity to steal?”
“You two bastards with no motherly upbringing, learning to steal at such a young age? Is this how you behave? Today, I’ll give you the punishment on behalf of your parents!”
She picked up a stick and mercilessly beat the two of them!
“Teacher, we didn’t steal anything… it wasn’t us!”
“We didn’t take that jelly… really! Teacher… please, no more beating… Janessa is in pain!”
Theo also shouted with a stiff neck, “We didn’t steal the jelly!”
Their eyes were filled with grievance.
“Still denying?” The young teacher’s face contorted with anger as she grabbed Janessa by her hair and yanked her up forcefully.
“In our class, you two are the poorest, and it’s obvious you’re the ones stealing… your mother gave birth to you two bastards out of wedlock, who else could it be?”
“Teacher, I also saw them stealing…,” a little boy spoke up, “It was them! My mom said… these bad kids love stealing!”
“Is everything the teacher said true?”
“Oh my god!”
“With a family like that, no wonder they became such petty thieves!”
“Disgusting! Children, never follow their example…”
The parents who had come to pick up their children joined in, condemning them.
“We didn’t steal!”
Theo and Janessa cried out in misery.
“We’re not bastards! We have a dad! Our dad is a great hero!” They shouted loudly.
But all they received were disdainful and mocking glares.
“A great hero?”
“Don’t make me laugh! Your dad is a rapist! He only gave birth to you two bastards!”
The young teacher yelled loudly, knowing the children’s background, feeling not even a shred of sympathy, but rather disgust!
“Marquise, tell us! Did you see them stealing?”
The boy from earlier eagerly pointed at the two children. “Yes, it was me who witnessed it. My mom said, for these kinds of children, they must be beaten severely!”
Beside Marquise a woman patted his head with a sharp and malicious tone, “These little thieves should have their hands chopped off, so they can’t harm others when they grow up!”
“That’s right… these bastards shouldn’t even live in this world!”
“They should die immediately!”
“It wasn’t us who stole… it really wasn’t us… it was Marquise who took it!” Janessa cried out, her sobbing tearing at the heart, “Teacher, it really was Marquise who stole… please, believe us…”
“Still trying to argue!” The young teacher, in front of everyone, shouted, aware of Marquise’s wealthy abackground. “Apart from you two thieves, who else could it be?”
“It seems like a beating is too lenient for you… you need a more profound lesson…”
“We really didn’t steal…” The two children cried helplessly.
They couldn’t understand why the teacher didn’t believe them, why those uncles and aunties would curse at them, why those classmates would lie and accuse them…
They felt so wronged!
Quentin, witnessing this scene, suddenly felt a surge of anger. A burning rage ignited within his chest as he burst into the classroom, his icy gaze fixated on the young teacher. Intense killing intent filled his eyes!
“Who… who are you?”
Madeleine was startled, “Sir, you need to leave…”
Before she could finish her sentence, Quentin had already clutched her throat, lifting her up, and violently slammed her against the blackboard!
The entire classroom seemed to tremble…
Everyone was stunned!
“I can’t bear to even hit my own children, so who do you think you are to hit them?”
“Today, I, Quentin, am here, and no one has the right to bully my kids!”
“If I don’t get a satisfactory explanation regarding this, I will make you… wish you were dead!”
Quentin’s eyes, sharp and menacing like a demon, terrified Madeleine to the point her body trembled, and her pants were instantly soaked…
“I… I…”
She only thought it would be easy to bully Janessa and Theo, that’s why she targeted them. Who could have anticipated that Quentin would be so domineering?
She was completely terrified… her body was in excruciating pain!
Quentin turned to the others in the room, his voice resounding, “Who insulted my children, calling them bastards? And who accused them of being thieves? Step forward now!”
“Today, if there’s any evidence proving my children are thieves, I, Quentin, will kneel down and apologize. But if you falsely accuse my children, I’ll rip your mouths apart!”
With a sharp gaze and overwhelming aura, Quentin intimidated the entire room.
