“I…,” he stammered.
“I really don’t know anything! This has nothing to do with me,” he begged, trembling in fear.
“Please don’t kill me.”
He was so frightened that his legs turned to jelly.
This guy was even more terrifying than Steven; he dared to kill even Steven…
How could things have come to this? He clearly had no regard for the consequences!
“Tell me everything truthfully!” Quentin’s tone was domineering and indifferent, imposing a dreadful pressure on the doctor, who knelt down in fear and despair.
“I… I was just a guide! Steven’s mother needed a cornea, they found me and asked if there was a match at the hospital, so I…,” the doctor confessed.
Quentin clenched his fists and thought, “This man doesn’t deserve to be a doctor!”
“You can go to hell,” Quentin’s voice was devoid of any emotion.
“I… I was wrong! Please, spare me,” the doctor pleaded, visibly terrified.
“You can’t afford to make this mistake,” Quentin declared coldly. He was certain it wasn’t the first time that this doctor had breached the ethics of profession.
Hasty footsteps approached. Upon hearing the commotion, the hospital president immediately rushed over and, upon seeing Steven and the others dead in the corridor, his expression turned incredibly grave… There was trouble ahead!
When he entered the ward, he paused for a moment, but then, suppressing his astonishment, respectfully greeted, “Mr. Holland!”
Quentin ignored him.
The doctor, seeing a potential savior, immediately crawled to the hospital president, “Mr. Harrison, save me! This maniac has gone mad…”
“Mr. Holland, you…” Mr. Harrison was taken aback. “What’s happened?”
“They have hit my son and want to take out my daughter’s eyes. Tell me, should they die?” Quentin’s gaze was icy.
“Well…,” Mr. Harrison broke out in a cold sweat, stiffening all over.
Had these people gone mad, to have provoked such a horrible figure?
“Mr. Harrison, save me…” The doctor begged desperately.
Mr. Harrison was in a dilemma. “Mr. Holland, what has he done…?”
Quentin coldly interrupted, “He brought people to take out my daughter’s eyes.”
“Do you want to protect him?” Mr. Harrison was taken aback and dared not speak.
“Lock the door, I’ll handle this,” Quentin ordered coldly.
“Yes, Mr. Holland.”
Mr. Harrison wiped a cold sweat, silently shut the door as per Quentin’s command.
The doctor’s eyes widened in shock. A sense of powerlessness overwhelmed him…
“Theo, Janessa, close your eyes,” Quentin said with a smile.
The two obediently closed their eyes.
Ten seconds later, the doctor slumped to the ground, completely powerless.
“Clean up properly, I will suppress this matter,” he said to the hospital president in a calm tone. “It won’t implicate you or the hospital.”
“Yes,” The hospital president dared not say more and followed Quentin’s orders.
Charlotte was stunned. Why did the hospital president obey Quentin so readily?
Her mind was in turmoil!
Just then, the hospital president knocked on the door again and entered, his face somewhat pale.
He held a cellphone in his hand.
“Mr. Holland, this is Nehemiah’s call…”
Nehemiah was a ruthless character who didn’t blink at murder.
“Give the phone to me.”
Quentin took the phone and answered. A deep, resonant voice came from the other end immediately, “When will you be back? I’m ready here, Dr. Oscar has everything prepared. We’re just waiting on the cornea. Hurry back.”
Quentin sneered. “Don’t bother waiting; Steven is already dead.”
Upon hearing this, Nehemiah’s eyes flashed with fury. “Who are you? How did you get hold of my brother’s phone?”
“If you dare touch my brother, I will wipe out your entire family!”
