Patrick’s upper body remained intact, but his lower body was ferocious. Usually a gentle gentleman, even resembling a devout son dedicated to the moon goddess, tonight he turned violent like a devil.
His entry was domineering, yet he still retained a level of patience, using his fingers to touch her clitoris, urging her to relax, whispering shameful words in her ear, “Darling, you’re so tight and wet.”
But as he began to move, the speed of his lower body’s thrusting was incredibly rapid, making Emma feel like she was being thrown around. She had to hold onto his hips tightly, her nails digging into the back of his neck.
Many cars passed on the road, and the headlights and honking surrounded them, turning the car into their own little stage. This was their performance.
Their first time together was wild and lengthy, and when he withdrew, Emma regained some awareness.
Maintaining his inserted position, Patrick held Emma. His teeth lightly nibbled at the gland on Emma’s neck, but he didn’t dare to bite hard. Inhaling her scent, he said, “That night, I knew you were there. I could feel you, but I couldn’t come out. When I woke up, you were gone.”
Still feeling the dizziness of the climax, Emma, weakened, said, “That night, you almost lost yourself.”
Resting on her shoulder, Patrick nuzzled her gland with his nose, like a big dog confirming the scent of a mate, “No, darling.”
Patrick propped himself up, his skin flushed with passion, a layer of moisture in his eyes, “Losing you is what truly makes me lost.”
As he said this, a tear, warm with emotion, fell onto Emma’s face.
…
Patrick and Emma returned home together. Emma fell asleep halfway, and Patrick carried her upstairs.
Emma woke up in the bathtub, and Patrick was earnestly helping her wash.
“Darling, you can go back to sleep.”
Emma found it strange that she didn’t feel ashamed of being naked in front of Patrick, she appreciated his care.
The next day when she woke up, Patrick was already gone. He left a message saying breakfast was on the table. He needed to have a brief meeting with Edward, but he would come back to have dinner with her.
Feeling a bit hungover, her head pounding, but her body feeling a long-lost relaxation, she still remembered Patrick’s warmth and his scent.
Reluctant to get up, she held the pillow Patrick had slept on, unwilling to let go, almost obsessively inhaling his lingering scent like it was more addictive than candy. It wasn’t until the doorbell rang that she reluctantly threw on some clothes.
When she opened the door, Florence exaggeratedly exclaimed, “Oh, my girl, you’re still here. Last night we thought he might have taken you to the Silver Moon Pack.”
Emma, her head throbbing, pulled Florence down from her, “How could that be.”
Reluctantly moving away from her, Florence sniffed the air, saying, “Did you two…?”
Emma blushed, hating the werewolf’s sense of smell.
“Coffee?” Emma, not wanting to continue the topic, went to the coffee machine, heating up the pancakes and eggs Patrick had made.
“Yes, please,” Florence said bluntly.
“So what happened last night? When Jeff and I got back to our seats, we heard you had been taken away. We didn’t stay long, you know it’s not fun without you.”
“Just a simple argument.” In reality, they didn’t argue.
“Is William okay?” Emma asked.
Florence looked disdainful, “He’s fine. Just lost two teeth.”
Handing the coffee to Florence, Emma settled onto the couch, laughing, “He drank too much, dared to challenge Patrick.”
“Yeah. Plus, he and Ailiya broke up. He kept bragging that if he had gone to the lake with you that day, nothing would have happened to Patrick.” Florence said.
“No wonder Ailiya was overly concerned about me that night.” Emma knew no girlfriend would tolerate their boyfriend constantly mentioning another girl.
“But Ailiya is a good girl, she also asked me to apologize to you.” Florence, a good judge of character, thought having another friend was good, and girls could always understand each other.
“I accept.”
Florence asked, “But what does Patrick mean? Does he want you to be his mate?”
“I don’t know, he asked me that the day he picked me up from the hospital. But I think it’s too early for everything right now.” Emma was still uncertain if they should take things further.
“To be honest, I can’t bear to lose you. I’ve always considered you my sister and family.” Florence said.
“But?”
“I want you to be happy. I can see he really likes you. When you were injured at the lake, they arrived, the lone wolf was already dead, and the others were no match. But he still protected you, kept everyone away. Edward tried to negotiate, but he had lost control.” Florence brought up the situation from that day again, and Emma could almost imagine the scene.
“He is truly afraid of losing you. He was still injured at the time, but stood his ground against us for a long time, until Edward told him you needed treatment. He managed to regain some control from his wolf.” Florence recalled the situation, still feeling fear and shock.
“At that moment, I was convinced that he truly loves you. I don’t know what issues you’ve had at the Silver Moon Pack. But I hope you can find happiness and face your inner self.” Florence said earnestly.
“I…” Emma thought about how to bring up that matter, “His mother, Jennifer, you know she doesn’t like me.”
“Uh-huh.” Florence reached out and held her arm, giving her the strength to continue.
“At the time, Patrick was also in a bad state, his wolf was missing for a long time. After I was abused by Jennifer, I decided to leave with a friend, but Patrick found out. He was angry, and then his wolf returned.” Emma didn’t expect to bring up that matter again.
“And Nelson?” Jennifer angrily asked, seemingly absent throughout the entire ordeal.
Emma shook her head, “He was mostly absent. Patrick lost control of his wolf, ran into the forest, so I went to find him. I found him, and then Jennifer and Nelson appeared. Especially Jennifer, she thought I had put her son in danger, so she secretly passed judgment on me and banished me. Patrick also fell into a coma. Everything happened so suddenly, I couldn’t contact anyone for help.”
“Darling, you’ve surely suffered a lot.” Florence cried, embracing and comforting Emma.
“I’m okay. But I don’t know how to face Patrick. I can’t help but resent him, but I know most of it wasn’t his fault.” Emma spoke of these things now, but it wasn’t as painful as she had thought.
“You’re too kind. Because of your kindness, you feel uneasy. Maybe you should go ask him. If you really love him and he loves you, I think he would be willing to work things out for you.” Florence suggested.
“I believe what you’re saying is true.”
After saying goodbye to Florence, Emma informed Alice that she wouldn’t be joining dinner.
Patrick messaged her, expressing his desire for a date. Edward had recommended a nice restaurant.
This was their first official date, and Emma saw it as a good opportunity for them to talk.
