***ZANE’S POV***
I fucking can’t believe it has been ten hours since London left me.
She fucking locked me in the women’s bathroom. I thought I had an advantage on her but the little slimy queen got through my fingers and I didn’t even notice it.
Before I could figure out that London was gone, the crazy woman was putting an iron bar on the bathroom door.
Breaking it was hard and before Reaper could have the sense to check out this way, I had to call him.
Good enough a lady wanted to use the bathroom.
“Where is she?” I ask Reaper and Sinner as they pace around my office.
I am still at the club. I couldn’t leave when I hadn’t found out where London was.
Well, I had a cold shower in one of the bedrooms I occupy here and changed into a new suit. I can’t even imagine the things I would do to London’s body once I find her.
“We’ve searched everywhere, Boss, but we can’t guess where she is,” Reaper says.
“What happened? She seemed to be annoyed when she walked into the club last night,” I ask looking at my men.
Reaper had gone to the house and checked it over, she wasn’t there. I had sent Caleb to fetch Micah, in case he knew where his sister was.
“I told her about the little saga that happened when we took her,” Reaper says.
I see the moment realization dawns on him that I might be slitting through his throat anytime soon.
Grinding my teeth, I ask, “What the fuck happened, Reaper?”
Reaper shifts in his position. The bastard has been feeling overconfident these days, well, if I don’t put the mother fucker in his place, it would cause more harm than good.
“What happened?” I shout as I slam my fist against the wooden desk.
I brace myself for what is about to leave his mouth.
“I told her we had her brother down in the dungeon and that I had put her in a cage,” Reaper says hanging his head low as if he was a damn guilty dog.
I lost my temper but I didn’t go hunting Reaper down.
“Get the fuck out of my office Reaper. Only come back here when you have my woman with you,” I say the words with repressed fury.
If I as much as move from my desk, I swear it, I am going to kill Reaper. And with how trustworthy he is, I don’t want my valuable man to go to waste like that.
Reaper is hurt, he wants to explain himself but he just nods his head and leaves my office.
“Sinner,” I turn to Sinner and start the conversation with him.
“Do you have men stationed at my house in case London shows up?” I ask staring at him for a reply.
“Yes, boss. You will be the first to know if she shows up at the house,” he tells me calmly.
I don’t press forth on that. London fucking knows better than to run away from me now that I have pleasured her so much.
She is mine, she belongs to me, she might know it yet, or she might not even know, but she means a lot to me.
A knock on the door makes me lift my head up. Caleb is pushing an angry Micah into the room.
“What happened to my sister, Zane?” Micah asks angrily.
“Where is your sister?” I ask raising my brows at him.
Sinner and Caleb are in the room so I nod my head at them, signaling them to excuse us for a while.
They do so without arguing, closing the door gently behind them.
“If I knew where my sister is, I wouldn’t have been asking you the question,” Micah grits out as he takes the sit opposite my desk.
His wounds have gotten better over the past week, he doesn’t look bad at all.
“The deal was to keep London until I could pay your money, Zane. Whatever do you mean by London is missing? Isn’t she supposed to be with you? Aren’t you supposed to be her keeper?” he asks his eyes shooting daggers on me.
His little scare doesn’t frighten me in the least but I glare at him nonetheless, hoping to see who bites the dust first.
I know Micah has every right to be mad at me, I truly had done him wrong by not keeping his sister safe.
“I know I did wrong by scaring her away, but wouldn’t she run to you? Unless you think she has anybody in town she can go to?” I ask hoping that I have at least a response that makes it possible to track London.
“No. London has only me in town. Unless she found herself some friends here?” he asks arching his brows at me as if I know the reply to it.
I look at him. The only man I know that had a fling with London is that guy from the restaurant. He had been the one I had spotted London with last night.
I know I had been hard on London with this guy of hers, and even dealing with her about it was terrible.
I felt sweat trickling down my temple as I can’t even process down a reply like that.
“Are you sure? I think maybe she left town?” I mutter not wanting to overbound my options.
“Check the boxes first. Maybe she grew more than a bond with those people even if they were strangers,” Micah explains.
I feel anger boiling in me at just the mere thought of thinking about London in another man’s house. The man seeing her and probably touching her. Ten hours is a lot for many things to happen, and also, for them to get intimate.
Pure anger leaves my purrs and after telling Micah her little fling with the dickhead, which was why she ran away from me, he advises me to track down the guy.
