Savannah’s POV
She nodded “and there is another one. It makes your body strong and will keep your spirit in high spirits for 48 hours” she waved a yellow coloured tablet.
“Will it affect the baby?” I frowned.
“No it has no side effects but after 48 hours you will feel sleepy and tired because you have used all your energy and will put you to deep slumber”
“How long?”
“May for 12 hours minimum,” Sadie shrugged, “but why are you asking so much? You don’t need this”
“I know” I nodded “I was just curious”
The makeup artist did her job well. Once my makeup was done I put the dress on and wore the jewelry.
“Wow you look so beautiful. I guess Alpha will faint just looking at you” Sadie chuckled.
“Have you seen him getting faint?” Jenny rolled her eyes “he will mostly lose his sanity” then she laughed. I blushed hearing them. The door opened again and suddenly I heard a familiar voice.
“Sav”
I turned around and saw Tanea grinning at me. My eyes widened and I smiled at her.
“You are here”
“Yes, we wanted to take part early so yeah here we are” she nodded and walked in.
“Savannah” mom followed her all smiling.
“Mom” I hugged her.
“You are looking so beautiful my dear” she patted my back.
“Thank you mom” I wiped the corner of my eyes. I still can’t believe they are finally here.
“Where’s the others?”
“They are outside talking with Hardwick,” mom replied. I nodded.
Ryan’s head popped in the room “it’s time” he announced.
We nodded and walked out. When I reached outside I gasped. The whole pack was there all in glory while the decorations were so beautiful. Flowers, lights, candles, slow music everything looked so perfect. The ceremony was organised on the open field so the decorations were also wide.
Hardwick walked to me and stretched his hand. I shyly put my hand on his and he led me to the center. Once we reached there he sneaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer.
“Everyone here already knows why this ceremony is organised. As you know I have found my mate after years of searching and I think it’s high time to give my mate what she deserves. So with the witness of all of you I, Alpha Hardwick of Dark Forest Pack announced that She, Savannah Lang is my mate and now the Luna of Dark Forest Pack” he held a wine glass and raised it high “for the honour of welcoming my Luna, the Mistress of the Pack. I believe you all will give her the same respect and love that you have given me all these years. I’m the name of Luna” he cheered.
The whole crowd raised their wine glass and cheered loudly. I looked at them and there’s no insincerity in their eyes. Finally I have become Luna. I smiled and looked around. From today onwards I also shared the same responsibility as Hardwick. And this pack has become my family.
Under slow going music Hardwick pulled me for a dance. Other couples also joined us and the atmosphere suddenly changed into a romantic one.
“Thank you” I whispered.
“For what?”
“For giving me everything before I could ask” I smiled.
He leaned and joined our forehead “whatever I have is all yours darling. You don’t have to say thank you and treat me like a stranger”
I chuckled “that’s not what I mean Alpha”
“Really?” He smiled.
“Uh-huh. I have never treated you as strangers. You and I are one. So how can you become a stranger?”
“That’s right,” he chuckled, “are you tired?”
“Not much,” I smiled.
“Let’s sit somewhere. It’s not good for you to move frequently”
“But the music is still on”
“Let others enjoy the dance” he pulled me out of the dancing area.
“Oh, I need to use washroom”
“Okay let’s go”
“what are you doing?” I frowned.
“What you said you want to go to washroom”
“Yes but I can manage it alone. Everyone is here, how can we leave together?” I looked around.
“But tha-”
“I will be fine. I will be back soon” I pushed him down to the chair then smiled before walking towards the pack house.
I walked into our room and directly went to the bathroom. After doing my business I fixed my make up and sighed. Finally the crowning ceremony is done. I walked out of the bathroom happily but stopped at once when I saw 3 men were standing in the room. They were wearing masks and I couldn’t guess their identity. Every cell of my body suddenly felt alert. It’s dangerous.

~ these bastards, who sent them? ~

” Who are you all?” I asked.
“It’s not important who we are. What you need to know is that you are going to come with us” one of them replied.
I clenched my first “so you want to kidnap me?”
“Don’t waste our time” one of them replied then walked forward. He raised his hand about to touch my shoulder. I punched him hard, making him fly towards the door.
“Before you step inside you should have got information about whom you are dealing with” I hissed.
“Fuck, what the hell you doing grab her” the man who fell shouted.
“Use that you fools” he shouted again.
I frowned at them. What are they talking about? Another one came forward but before he could reach I raised my leg and kicked him on his stomach. He groaned in pain and fell on the floor. I panted as I glared at them. I supported myself at the door. God because of my pregnancy I am losing my energy. I couldn’t keep myself alive if I kept fighting. Suddenly my eyes fell on the yellow tablet which was placed on the table near Sadie’s medical box. Suddenly an idea arose in my mind. Gritting my teeth I forced myself to walk towards it. Just as I reached the table I grabbed the tablet. But before I could turn I smelt something and my vision blurred. I couldn’t even shout because this room is soundproof and no one will hear me. I tried to mind link Hardwick but because of the dizziness I couldn’t focus completely.
“Don’t hurt her or we will be dead” I heard them muttering. My body swayed and I fell backward. But before it could touch someone hold me. My mind went blank and the last night I remember was my mate.
