Savannah’s POV
Next morning came so fast. I woke up a little late today and I puked again. Sadie said it’s morning sickness and it happens during pregnancy. Mom called me again telling me what to do and what should not. Even Hardwick took the phone and listened to what mom said to him carefully. Looking at him I felt like it was not me who is pregnant yet it was him who is going to carry the baby.
“Breakfast is here” Ryan opened the door and Jenny walked in holding my breakfast. After my pregnancy news she took charge of the meal and diet plan.
“You are fast,” I told her.
She grinned “I have to. After all it’s about the little baby”
“Wow, breakfast look yummy” Sadie glanced at the food on the tray then nodded. She turned to me and smiled “since you are pregnant you need good nutrition. Fiber, protein, calcium, whole grains and iron- rich foods will provide good nutrition in your body and your baby”
“What did you make for breakfast?” I asked Jenny.
“Don’t worry, these foods are healthy and tasty too. I made Sunday Blueberry Pancakes, Spinach-cheese egg scramble, Banana berry smoothie, Avocado toast”
“That much?” I felt my head ache.
“It’s not that much. You need to eat not only for you but for your baby too” I rubbed my temple.
“I am feeling like l am about to shoot a mukbang show” I rolled my eyes and they chuckled.
“Come on, you should finish your meal. Remember your designers will be arriving with your dress” Jenny reminded.
“Yeah” I almost forgot about it though. I could hardly finish the meal. It was tasty but I couldn’t eat everything. So Jenny said to eat everything little by little to fill my stomach. I rubbed my belly when I drank the smoothie.
“It’s delicious” I placed the glass on the tray and smiled.
“I know you will like it. I will make you a new menu everyday so that it won’t ruin your taste and you can drink new flavours everyday” Jenny grinned.
“I would love that. Thank you” I nodded.
“Mistress, those designers are here” Luina informed. She opened the door and led a few ladies inside who looked professional.
“Hello, Miss Lang. We brought the exclusive designs as Mr. Leon asked. Please choose of your desire” those ladies respectfully said then presented rows of dresses.
“The event is important. Do you want to go with white or something different?” Jenny asked.
“What’s the main colour?”
“The dark one,” Jenny smiled.
“I would like to go with it”
“Good choice” she nodded then walked towards the dresses. She pulled out a navy blue dress which has a halter neckline.
“This is really a good choice” the designer walked forward with a smile “this is the newly arrived dress. It is made from pure silk and has diamonds coated on the neck and waist line. It will give comfort while wearing”
The dress was beautiful. It looks classy and elegant. I nodded and asked her to put it aside. Jenny went for another row and picked a dark red one. It was an off shoulder dress with a backless style where the pearls are designed on the back. It has a split cut from the thigh.
“This is also a good one. The material is soft and comfy. It’s satin and the pearl beads will give more attraction on the back side” the designer explained.
“Keep it aside” I nodded.
“Is the selection done?” Hardwick walked in looking all handsome. He was wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans. His hands were shoved inside his pockets.
“We are in the middle,” I replied. He walked towards me and sat on the couch throwing his arm over my shoulder.
“You haven’t found one?” He asked.
“You have brought so many beautiful dresses. Of course it will take time to choose”
“Nothing is more beautiful than you” he whispered then looked towards the dresses while my eyes were stuck on his face. How come he always manages to do that? Making my heart wolf with just a few sentences? He really knows how to sweet-talk and flatter my heart to this extent.
“Bring that dark purple one” he said pointing towards a certain dress. My eyes fell on the dress and my heart raced. It’s so beautiful.
The dark purple shade has queen anne neckline style. It was a long dress with lace design.
“This is exclusively made with silk and satin material. The queen anne neck styles enhanced the dress paired with the white lace embroidery attached on it” the designer explained hurriedly.
“It’s beautiful”
“You like it?” He asked.
“I love it” I grinned at him.
“Well then we will take this” Hardwick instructed. “Get ready the shoes and jewelries”
“Very well Mr. Leon” the designer looked delighted.
“And also leave the dresses chosen first” he added. Those designers looked and left to prepare for tomorrow. Sadie and Jenny left along with them leaving us alone.
“How are you feeling?” He asked.
I chuckled “I am fine. I am just pregnant not sick”
“I heard you vomited?”
I nodded “yes, it’s morning sickness. Sadie said it happens during pregnancy”
“You look tired” he cupped my face.
“A little bit actually. Our baby is making me all tired” I smiled.
“I Didn’t know that this would be this hard. If I knew I wouldn’t have taken the risk” he shook his head.
“Don’t say that. I am happy. Whatever it is we will go through together” I smiled at him.
“Fuck you look beautiful” he leaned and about to kiss when I felt sudden urge of puking again. I pushed him away and ran to the bathroom again.
