Savannah’s POV
“Hi mom. I hope everything is well there” I said through the phone.
“Everything’s fine here sweetheart. What about you? Are you okay?” Mom asked.
“I am good. I mean actually I wanted to talk about it”
“Savannah what happened to you dear?” Mom’s voice turned concern.
I chuckled “don’t worry mom. I am fine. And what I wanted to say is something that will make you happy”
“Really what is it?” Mom asked.
I chuckled “mom, I …. I am pregnant”
“What?” Mom almost screamed in my ear.
“Mom, relax” I smiled.
“Honey, is it true? You are pregnant?”
“Yes mom” I nodded
“When did you know this?”
“Um…. Just today”
“Oh my god ….. I am going to be a grandma….. oh my god, oh my god” mom yelled “I can’t believe it …. It’s such great news sweetheart. I still can’t believe that you are… Oh god …. really pregnant”
“I never thought that it would be this fast. But here I am telling you about it” I chuckled.
“Whatever it is, the main point is you are pregnant. Oh, I need to share this news with everyone” mom sounded so excited.
“Of course mom,” I laughed. “And there’s another thing that I want to tell you”
“There is more? What is it?”
“Hardwick planned to hold my crowning ceremony. So you, dad and everyone needed to be here” I smiled.
“Crowning? He is officially announcing?”
“Yes, he said he couldn’t wait anymore and wanted to tell everyone that I am Luna of the Dark Forest”
“It’s great. It’s like a double joy my dear. Don’t worry we can never miss your important day anyways”
“Thank you mom”
“Okay I will hang up now. I need to tell everyone about your pregnancy”
“Mom, can you please keep this little secret? I mean just the closest ones to know about it?”
“What happened there?”
“Well….. The situation here is quite gloomy. I don’t feel like revealing this news to outsiders” I sighed.
“I can understand. Don’t worry”
“Thanks mom”
“Take care sweetheart. You need to care for yourself more”
“Yes mom, love you”
“Love you too sweetheart”
Tanea’s POV
“Oh god, I can’t eat anymore. What are you trying to do?” I glared at my husband who was trying to force feed me.
“You haven’t eaten much. You need more protein and calcium in your body” Devak frowned.
“I know that. You don’t have to lecture like those doctors” I rolled my eyes.
“I am just worried that you will be in poor health. The doctor said, you need more of everything during this time,” he said with worry flashing in his eyes.
I chuckled “don’t worry, I am already in good health and I am on this pregnancy diet so you don’t have to pressure yourself okay” I smiled. My husband is going crazy about my pregnancy. He is so worried that it almost made me insane with frustration.
“Devak you are again forcing her to eat” dad walked in and sat down on the couch near us.
“Dad, I am just following the doctor’s advice,” Devak replied.
“You are little overreacting my son” dad chuckled “if you continue to feed her like that, the baby will be more bigger and it will make Tanea uncomfortable”
“Really?” Devak looked shocked then he stared at my belly where the little baby bump could be seen.
I smiled as I looked at him. Though there’s so saying to prove his words but just simple sentence made Davak restless. He looked up and asked.
“Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?”
I laughed. He really took dad’s words seriously and it affected him. He took it so seriously that I can see the tension rising on his face. So I held his hand and smiled warmly.
“Don’t be so worried okay, I am fine”
“Really?”
I nodded again. Just then mom walked in the living room with a huge smile on her face.
“Honey” she called as she sat beside dad.
“What made you so happy?” Dad asked, frowning.
“I have big news to share. I just can’t suppress the excitement” mom grinned.
“What is it?” Dad smiled.
Mom took a breath “the news is Hardwick is holding crowning ceremony for Savannah”
My eyes widened “wow, that’s great”
“That man is really something. He is kind of fast” dad nodded.
“There is something more honey” mom smiled.
Dad frowned “there’s another?”
Mom nodded “the pain happiness is that I am going to be a grandmother”
“I know that. But is that your surprise?” Dad asked, frowning.
Mom rolled her eyes “you are not understanding. What I want to say is I am going to be a grandmother for the second time”
“That’s not new. Tanea is preg-” dad stopped in the middle when suddenly his eyes went wide “what did you say, second time?”
My eyes widened when realisation hit me. My body jumped with excitement “mom, did you mean that?”
Mom looked at me and smiled “yes”
“Oh my god” I covered my mouth and squealed.
“What?” Devak frowned.
“You still didn’t get it? Mom is saying that Savannah is pregnant” I told him with a wide smile.
“WHAT?” Both dad and Devak jumped shouting.
“Yes, Savannah just called me and told me about it” mom nodded.
“My princess is pregnant? I am going to be a grandfather again” dad laughed suddenly “good, good. As I said Hardwick is really fast in everything”
Mom rolled her eyes and slapped his arm playfully “don’t joke. Don’t forget about yourself”
“Come on. I am so happy right now” dad grinned “I never thought my daughter would give me this great news so soon. Good, good”
“Fuck, that bastard made her pregnant already” Devak growled.
I rolled my eyes “what’s your problem! This is happy moment”
“What? How can he make her pregnant so soon? They just started to live together yet he couldn’t even wait”
“Why can’t he do that?” I frowned “Sav is his mate and they love each other. So it’s not a crime”
Devak frowned “my sister is still young. How can he make her pregnant so soon”
“He made her pregnant just like you made me pregnant. I don’t know why you always hold so much grudges against him?” I glared at him.
“I was just worried about Sav”
“You don’t have to. Hardwick is there for that. What you needed to do is worry about me” I huffed.
“Okay, let’s finish this argument here” mom raised her hands. “Savannah invited us to her crowning ceremony. So we need to go”
I grinned “great. I am already feeling so bored in the pack. It is a great chance to explore outside, especially Sav’s pack. I have never seen Dark Forest other than hearing the name”
“Lets make arrangements then. We can’t be late for our own daughter’s crowning ceremony” mom nodded.
I grinned feeling excited inside. This will be the first time I am visiting Dark Forest. I am already so excited that I can hardly control my emotions. Sav is pregnant and this added the happiness in double. I never thought that I would hear this news so soon. But it’s also good. Our children can grow up together.
“Why are you so happy?” Devak poked my head.
“Why can’t I be? It’s Sav’s great day anyways”
He sighed “I am still worried”
“Since you are so doubtful then ask Sav by yourself if she is happy or not? If she is not then we are here for her isn’t it? Besides I don’t think she won’t be happy anyway. Hardwick loves and cares for her so much. Just be happy for her okay?” I tried to persuade.
He looked at me for sometime then nodded “right”.
