I checked the time and it’s 9 pm. I raised my eyebrows at him. He is doing it deliberately.
“Unless you want me to send you to the patrolling are-”
“It’s late, I think you should take some rest. Jenny must be waiting for dinner. I need to go” then in a second Ryan disappeared from the room. I shook my head. That man. Smiling, I got up from the chair and walked towards the door. Finally I can meet my mate.
My smile tarnished the moment when I reached my room. My eyebrows creased when I saw Luina standing at the door. When she saw me coming she bowed with a stiff smile.
“What are you doing here?”
“I….. Master that….” She stammered.

“Master I am here because Mistress asked me”
“She did?” Shaking my head I was about to step but Luina stopped me.
“Master you can’t go in”
“Why?” I almost growled, making her jump.

“Master, I am not willing but Mistress said you can’t go in ”
“And you are going to stop me?”
“I …..” Luina hesitated. I folded my arms around my chest glaring at her.
“Looks like you are obeying your Mistress so much that you forgot who’s the master here?”
“Master, it’s nothing like that. Mistress said repeatedly not to let you in”
“And why is that?”
“That I don’t know. She didn’t inform me of anything other than saying that.
“This is ridiculous. I am already tired and want to rest for a while. Are you still planning to stop me?” I used my Alpha tone.

Luina looked at the door then hesitated for a while but then moved away from the door Boeing her head. I glanced at her before turning the door knob and pushing the door. The room light was dim and I can see the whole room was illuminating through the candle lights which was beautifully decorated in the room. The bedcover was changed into a blue one with a blue silk duvet. There was also a wine bottle and two glasses on the table. I felt like I had entered into a different world. Is this why She wanted Luina to guard the door? If this is the reason then I am totally impressed.
“Did you like it?” A sweet voice sounded from behind. I turned around swiftly and found my mate smiling at me. Under the light of candles her skin looked resident and she was looking even more beautiful. She was wearing a coral coloured silk robe which radiated her skin more.
“You did all these?” I smiled at her. She nodded.
“Why?”
“I wanted to give you a surprise. You have been so busy these days and whenever you are back you look so tired and exhausted from work. So I thought to decorate our room a little to make you relax” she bit her lips looking down.
My heart jumped in excitement as I heard her. She did all these for me. To make me happy?
