Avan’s POV
“Do you think it will work?” I frowned looking at the file.
“That’s all I got. They are too secretive so there’s no major information leaked” Ben shook his head.
I threw the file on the floor “fuck it. What the hell do those bastards think?”
I couldn’t control my rage. It has been a week since Bright Shine had a war with another pack. The war ended with some conditions at the end. Since our power and position were the same, it’s hard to win over them and for them to win over us. At the end dad proposed a peace treaty to end it. But the condition they put in was higher than they deserved.
“I fucking won’t agree to this point” I growled again. I asked Ben to try to find any weakness or loopholes in their past activities but those bastards were quite smart to hide it well.
“Master Alpha had already agreed to the conditions” Ben informed.
“Fuck” I cursed again. Dad just wanted this to end but how can I agree to the conditions?
“Master Alpha said it’s better to agree to their condition because in return he is going to propose for another agreement”
I turned to look at him “what agreement”
“Since they want the valley land then we can ask them to give fighting weapons. It was a deal that Master Alpha wanted me to inform you”
“Weapons in return for land?” I frowned. Though we really don’t need weapons to fight, keeping weapons will always give you advantages. Since this is what dad wants then let it be.
I nodded “fine, if that’s what decided already”
“I will inform Master Alpha then” Ben nodded.
“Go ahead” he left immediately.
The past months are too difficult to handle. The problems are arising one after another then when it gets solved it takes something in return. I leaned back on the chair and my headache. When can I get some peace? The matter of Reese has ended with the death of my unborn child. After that day I never saw her again. It felt like she had disappeared. Though I knew I wanted her to stay away from me, what she did was quite unexpected. She didn’t bother me nor showed herself infront of me again. Even her mother Salina didn’t know about her. But it’s fine with me. Because I have so many things to deal with and Resse was the last one I wanted to deal with.
My thoughts went towards someone who has purple eyes. Those beautiful orbs always haunted me in my dream and I couldn’t forget no matter what I did. Only if she was here. I sighed. I should have kept her and never let her go. I was such a fool to let her leave that night. I should have caged her so that she could never run away from me. I should have.
There was a sudden knock on the door. Then one of my man walked in “Alpha there’s someone who want meet you”
“Who’s that?”
“I don’t know. Looking at the person I don’t think she is from our pack”
“Rogue?” I raised my eyebrows.
“No, she is here willingly”
I frowned “she?”
“Yes”
“Send her in” who it could be?
He left, then the door opened again. I looked at the figure walking in. She was wearing a hoodie so I couldn’t see her face. Once she stood in front of me I asked.
“Who are you?”
“Does that matter, Alpha Avan?”
“I am asking you again, who are you?” I asked again.
She chuckled “I am someone who can help you achieve what you want. But I don’t know if you are willing or not”
I frowned. Who is she? She said she can help me achieve my goal?
“You seem to know about me well”
“Of course. I know about you and also the person you want to get”
My expression changed suddenly and my eyes turned dark. How did she know about it?
“Who are you?”
“You don’t have to doubt on my intention Alpha Avan. I only want to help you”
“What will you get in return?” There’s no free meal in this world. Since she wanted to help me then of course she wants something in return too.
“Before I tell you that, do you promise to make a deal with Alpha Avan?”
“I will deal if the I find it beneficial”
“Oh, don’t worry it will be beneficial for you in every way” she chuckled again.
“How is that?”
Suddenly she removed her hoodie and my eyes widened as I saw her face. Isn’t she?
“You don’t have to be so shocked Alpha” she laughed and sat down on the chair “do you want to make a deal?”
“Are you taking me for a fool?” I asked her.
She laughed “how could I dare that? I am not here to deceive you. I am here just to make a deal with you”
“Since you are so sincere in making a deal with me then what’s your price at the end?”
“We have the same goal, Alpha Avan. And that goal is Savannah” she leaned in smiling.
My jaw clenched “what do you want to do with her?” I asked through gritted teeth.
“I don’t want to do anything to her. I can assure you of this. What I want is her”
“What’s your deal?” I looked at her coldly.
“Oh finally you are on the right point, Alpha Avan. I am glad you are willing in this deal. Since you asked me I won’t hide it from you. I know you want Savannah and I also want Savannah. Our goal is the same so I thought it would be better to work together isn’t it?”
“I don’t like puzzles. You better come to the point or you can just get out”
“You don’t have to be so angry, Alpha Avan. What you want is Savannah to stay with you and what I want is Savannah to stay away from Dark Forest. So we can work together. It will help you get her and me to keep her away from the Dark Forest. I don’t want to see her in the pack. So you can just keep her here” she gritted her teeth.
“Why are you hostile towards her? I never thought that the member of her own pack is plotting against her?” I raised an eyebrow.
“She is a two faced woman. Because of her my sister’s life is ruined. How can I tolerate her in the pack when she is the reason behind our pain. Since you want her you can keep her to you. Just don’t let her come in the Dark Forest again”
“You are so sure about your plan? If it get disclosed then the one who will be facing death is you”
“You don’t have to worry about me. Just think of a plan to get her. The faster the better. I don’t want to see her face in this life”
I observed her closely. She is a pretty girl and there’s a slight finger mark on her neck. Though she was wearing a scarf to hide her neck, I could see it clearly. Who did that to her? Savannah? Fuck it. Since she is so eager to make this deal then I am in. This is such a golden opportunity and I will never let it slip from my hand. As soon as I get Savannah I am not letting her go ever. A sudden excitement rushed in my body.
“Since you are willing I will make a deal. What’s in your mind?” I asked.
She looked at me and smiled “something that will make us get what we want”
