Savannah’s POV
Delaney and Daisy looked so shocked that they couldn’t utter a single word.
“I have had enough of this” Hardwick glared at the both sisters “send Delaney back to the East Side but this time she will be going to shut herself in Golden cage and will not come out without my permission”
The people who were present here all gasped loudly. I looked at them frowning. I really don’t have any idea about Hardwick’s punishment but one thing is clear that it’s not a good choice either.
“No, you can’t do that to me” Delaney shook her head vigorously. Looks like she is not believing what she just heard.
“I can do anything since you craved it” Hardwick replied, then turned around and grabbed my hand before pulling me with him.
“You can’t do that. What wrong have I done for you to treat me like that? How could you be so heartless Alpha? You are so cold blooded” Delaney was screaming behind us. Two guards showed up and dragged her away. No one gave any heed to her shouts and screams.
“What kind of punishment did you give her?” I asked as soon as he pulled me into our room.
“Are you still interested in her?” He asked as he removed his shirt.
“I was just …” I bit my lips trying not to gasp as his perfect abbs came into my view.
“You what?” He leaned on the wall looking at me with a smirk. God he knows what he is doing and he is doing it intentionally. This man…
“I couldn’t understand your punishment properly”
He raised an eyebrow “Delaney will not be interfering in our lives again. This time she will be living in a golden cage, the Dark prison in the East Side. And she couldn’t come out without my permission once she entered inside. And I am not going to let her out. So she is fated to be doomed for life”
So that is why everyone gasped when he said about the punishment. The golden cage doesn’t only have a good name but it has great significance too.
“So?”
I looked at him frowning “so what?”
Hardwick narrowed his dominating eyes “are you just going to ponder over her matter or you have time to think about me?”
“What are you saying?” I asked as I walked towards the dressing table “such a big thing happened today, how can I not think about it?”
“You are thinking about everyone except for me. Is that fair?’ he walked towards me in slow steps.
I removed my earring and wiped the makeup from my face before looking at him through the mirror.
“How can you be so calm like nothing happened? Delaney caused such a huge scene-”
“Stop” he holds my shoulders “I have tolerated enough. I don’t want to hear about that woman again. Her chapter is closed down and you are not going to talk about her”
I looked at him then sighed. Looks like he hated Delaney from the core. But I don’t think Delaney’s chapter is closed, I don’t know why but thinking about today and the way Delaney screamed it made my heart so restless.
“What are you thinking about?”
“What about Daisy?”
“Daisy?” He frowned.
“She is her sister right”
“The whole family is hypocrite”
“I don’t know why but I feel restless about it” I frowned as I looked at myself in the mirror.
“Don’t worry, I won’t let any harm come to you. Do you trust me?” He smiled.
I turned to face him “do you think I am worried about myself?” I shook my head “it’s not about me. Whatever happened today will lead to another big problem. And Daisy has been keeping guards against me and I know no matter what Delaney did Daisy will blame me for today’s action. She has been hating my existence ever since I become your mate”
“I told you Daisy is a hypocrite just like her sister. Both siblings couldn’t sit still until someone is hurt because of them. One is senseless and the other is a vicious bitch” Hardwick clenched his fist. I held his hand and smiled.
“You are getting angry again?”
“I can’t help it. At the thought of you being hurt it makes my blood boil to no end”
I smiled “you love me that much Alpha?” I poked his bare chest.
“More than you can think”
“Feeling are mutual Alpha”
“Is it?”
“Any doubt?” I tilted my head as I asked him.
He smirked “of course not. Wait a minute” he pulled out his phone and called someone “Ryan, I need you to watch Daisy for me tonight” he said then hung up.
“You are giving him night duty to the poor boy?”
He rolled his eyes “he is not innocent. That fucker even hide his mate from me. I need to teach him a good lesson”
“Seriously? Jenny was the one who ignored him”
He chuckled “served him right”
“Are you happy with his misery?” I shook my head.
“Hmm….. I am happy whenever he is in pain”
“You are really something” I shook my head.
Suddenly Hardwick pulled me to him, pressing myself to him “don’t you think we should continue where we left last time?”
I raised my eyebrows “what happened last time?”
“You don’t remember?”
I shook my head.
“Good, then I will start again to make you remember every fucking thing”
Before I could understand he hoist me up on his shoulder making me squeal.
“What are you doing?”
“Making you remember everything darling”
