“Go to the office!”
Adriana ordered a sentence.
“Yes.”
Aaren nodded and gave Giovanny an order, then the limo turned around and headed straight for the office.
Arriving at the office, Adriana quickly entered the office and contacted her secretary Rene on the inside, “Bring me all the collaborations regarding Alston Group and Lindsay Group.”
“Yes, Mr. Alston.”
Even if The Alston family and the Soto family are feuding, there are times when business competition is inevitable and if the two sides are not on par, they will naturally choose to cooperate.
It just wasn’t a very pleasant collaboration.
Not long after, Rene came in carrying a pile of contract documents, “Ms. Hale, why do you suddenly want these collaborations for what?”
“Nothing, you go down first.”
Rene went down.
Adriana, on the other hand, locks herself in her office and spends the whole day reading contracts.
In the afternoon followed the secretary to go with a company to talk about a project, and after returning and continue to read the contract, even Helen is Vivian picked up back.
It was nine o’clock at night before Adriana finished reading all the project collaboration documents about The Alston family.
Because Peter has been at the helm of the Alston Group for so long, almost all of the planning comes from Peter.
She still has some understanding.
The Lindsay Family, on the other hand, has always been handled by Theresa’s father, Logan.
After reading so much, a little understanding of the two, they will know how to go on.
I went back in the evening, played with Helen for a while, and then arranged for her to go to bed.
Adriana then continued to learn some professional skills with Aaren and went back to read some more books about business management until after two o’clock.
The next day, as usual, ran for one hour and practiced sparring for one hour.
There are few breaks in the day, and she can’t sleep.
After dropping Helen off at school in the morning, she went to the office.
However, just as she arrived at the office, Rene, her secretary, approached her to inform her, “Miss Lindsay is here and has been waiting for you in the office for a while.”
“Got it.”
Adriana nodded, not caring.
Pushing open the office door, Adriana saw Theresa sitting in the office, followed by Sandra, the two were talking and laughing, playing sisterly love.
When she was with Theresa, it seemed to be the same picture.
I didn’t realize that things have changed and everything has changed.
“Yah, Adri’s here?”
Theresa pursed her lips and smiled, got up, walked to her, “I know you’ve been busy with Helen lately, I brought you breakfast from Goskington Restaurant, it’s my long queue to deliver oh. Do you want to try it?”
She carries the thermos and hands it to Adriana.
Adriana set her handbag aside, took off her jacket, looked at her, and then at the thermos, “It’s not poisoned inside?”
She flirted, a cold smile playing at the corners of her lips.
“What, are you afraid?”
Theresa continued her conversation, “Or I’ll eat it for you?”
“It’s better not to. You are pregnant now, you can’t eat or drink in my place, if otherwise something goes wrong, I have a hundred mouths to tell.”
Take the thermos bucket from her hand and throw it into the trash without ceremony, “You, your body is golden, now you must be served by someone. This kind of stuff can’t get into your mouth.”
“You …!”
Theresa glared at her eyes in exasperation and anger.
Sandra walked over to the side, hooked her lips and twisted her waist, “Ms. Hale, you’re too ungrateful. We just came over to deliver your meal, you don’t have to be so unforgiving, do you?”
“Which one are you?”
Adriana asked knowingly, “How did Rene become a secretary, letting in all kinds of dogs and cats? What a disgrace.”
“What do you mean, you call me a dog?”
Sandra was so angry that she stomped her foot and reached out to point at her face, “Adriana, I’m warning you, don’t go too far, do you believe I’ll tell Peter? Peter is now my brother-in-law, if you dare to bully me, both Theresa and my brother-in-law will not let you go!”
“Oh? Is that so.”
Adriana moved away from the executive chair and sat down, “I’m really a little scared when you guys say that. If Peter really comes over to beat me up later, do you think she’s hearting you Sandra, or is she hearting Theresa?”
Her eyes wandered and landed on Theresa’s belly, “Or the baby in your belly? Oh yes, I heard that your womb is Sandra’s. Tsk … after this child is born, would you say it’s closer to Sandra or to you Theresa?”
Saying that, she reached out and covered her mouth, “Sorry, I’m used to being tongue-tied and said some big truths that are not very nice, you must not take it to heart.”
“Adriana, how can you speak so harshly? No matter what, that child is Theresa’s and Peter’s, what do you mean by stirring up trouble?”
Sandra was angry, her white cheeks flushed with anger.
“To make a distinction? Look at your face in the mirror, do you need me to sow discord when Peter is about to marry Theresa and you are still able to stay at Orchard House unharmed? It’s because you have a face that looks so much like mine.”
Adriana casually took over a document and looked at it while lamenting, “On one side is the look of a woman Peter can’t forget, and on the other is a woman who has loved him bitterly for years, the days of embracing left and right can be really enviable. I wonder if the two of you sisters can have equal access to the rain?”
“Adriana, what are you talking about? Have no shame?!”
Theresa had been holding back her anger with Adriana from the moment she came in, after all, there was something really wrong with coming over today.
I didn’t expect her to speak so harshly and angrily.
“Face? How can someone like you talk to me about faces?” She lost her voice and raised her finger to point at Sandra, “You didn’t tell Sandra how her parents died, did you?”
When Sandra’s parents were mentioned, Theresa’s cheeks were instantly pale and colorless, her pupils wide, as if she had been struck by some great blow.
Swallowing, “I don’t know what you’re babbling about.”
She shook her head and said to Sandra, “Sandra, you go out first, I have something to say to her.”
“Hmm? Oh.”
Sandra’s big, watery eyes blinked, seemingly in some doubt.
“Stand still!”
Adriana opened her mouth to stop her, “What is the point of rushing Sandra away? Is it possible that there is really some kind of unspeakable secret about the death of Sandra’s parents that you are afraid I will tell?”
She pursed her lips and looked at Sandra with her good-looking shearwater eyes, propped her elbows on the tabletop, rested her chin, and said to Sandra with interest, “Are you interested in sitting down and listening to me tell you the story of your mother and father?”
While saying this, he raised his eyebrows, smiled casually, with a lazy meaning in his bones, like a golden cat, with a powerful aura, lazy with enchanting.
“My mom and dad?”
“The first time I told you to get out of here, you didn’t understand that Adriana is a person you don’t know. I’m about to get married to the man she loves, how could she be willing to do that?”
