Luis put down the remote and walked over, “Uncle Raylan, are you trolling?”
Raylan raised his hand, nodded at Luis’ chin, and smiled evilly, “Your mommy is single now, I call this an open and honest pursuit.”
Said the man, shooting his gaze at Peter, “Wouldn’t you say so, Mr. Alston?”
It seems to throw the question to Peter.
Peter raised his eyes, hesitated for a moment, and nodded, “Sort of.”
An awkward situation, Peter was in an embarrassing position, but also what he had promised, what else was there to say.
Raylan shrugged and laughed it off, shoving the flowers into Adriana’s arms, “For you.”
“I …”
Adriana wanted to refuse, but she felt that Peter had recently rekindled his relationship with her, but he was still in trouble with Sandra and Theresa, and even allowed Sandra to live in Orchard House.
Solely, took the flowers, leaned down close, sniffed the flowers, “Well, it smells good. Thanks.”
“Just like it.”
Raylan’s heart dropped when he saw Adriana accept the flowers.
Walk over to Peter and sit down.
“Would you like a drink for lunch?”
tapped Peter on the shoulder and asked.
“Good.”
Peter responded with gusto.
Not long after, the food was served and the waiter brought over a few bottles of wine.
Adriana accompanied the two children to dinner, peeling shrimp for them, talking and laughing.
Peter sat down with Raylan and clinked glasses with a tall glass in his hand, all eyes on the three people opposite.
“Do you count that as tacit approval?”
Raylan asked in a whisper as he raised his wine and took a sip.
“What do you think.”
Peter looked away from the window and raised his red wine and drank it.
“Now that you’ve made your choice, don’t regret it.”
“How can you trip over the same place once and have it happen a second time.” Peter snorted a laugh, his smile piercing with heartache.
Holding up the soberware, he poured Raylan a glass of wine and another for himself.
He went on to say, “When did you get so close to my son and daughter?”
“When can you not know?”
Raylan doesn’t think Peter doesn’t know anything, he’s obviously asking questions.
The two men smiled at each other and raised their glasses to drink.
Soon, the two children were full and ran to the side to watch TV.
Adriana sat there looking at the two men drinking, she could not say anything, mainly because she did not know what to say, so she simply said, “You two take your time to eat, I will watch TV with them for a while.”
So, Peter and Raylan both talked less and drank more.
In a short time, the two drank six bottles of long-vintage red wine, and Raylan threw up once in the middle.
Finally couldn’t take it anymore, “No more, no more, no more.”
“If you can’t drink, don’t drink.”
Adriana advised.
Peter just laughed and didn’t say anything.
“All right, Adri, you and the kid take Raylan back first.” He said.
“Daddy, what are you going to do?”
Only Luis cares about Peter.
“It’s okay, I called Sandra and she’s coming over to pick it up later.”
“Hm, it’s so annoying to move around and find Sandra.”
Helen was angry and tugged Adriana’s hand, “Mommy, let’s go.”
Adriana and Helen walked up to Raylan and Helen picked up Raylan, “Uncle, can you walk?”
“Yes, of course it’s no problem.”
Raylan stood up, burped, and followed Adriana as they walked away.
Before leaving, Luis glanced meaningfully at Peter and pulled his lips, wanting to say something.
For a while, the only sound echoing in the large private room was the sound coming from the TV.
Peter sat there and watched the rest of the wine in the sobering machine, poured it into the quilt, and drank it, one glass after another.
A person did for a while, the depths of the deep, bottomless eyes always contain a sadness that people can not read.
Pulling out her cell phone, she called, “Come pick me up, Goskington Restaurant 302.”
Fifteen minutes later, Zac appeared in the box.
Looking at the leftovers on the table and the seven empty bottles of red wine sitting on the table, he burst into a rage.
“Peter, you’re crazy, do you know you can’t drink?”
Zac walked over and stormed over to the table, brushing away the empty bottles, which fell to the ground and broke with a thunderclap.
Peter sat dizzily in his chair, clenched his teeth, and propped his hand on the table with a slight clench, a little harder.
But the next moment leaned down violently and hooted and hollered at the trash can beside him.
First some filth, and then spit out is the crimson blood!
“Drink, drink to death you forget, know you are dying, but still a strong drink, I am afraid you are looking for death!”
Zac stood there motionless and yelled a few words, smelling the pungent smell and did not bother to go over.
Thud –
Until Peter fell to the ground, he found something wrong, immediately walked over, only to find that the garbage cans are actually crimson stinging blood donations.
“Peter? Peter? You fuck wake up ah, do not scare me ah?”
Zac immediately took his pulse and made sure he was okay, then immediately carried him downstairs and drove him straight to the hospital.
In the hospital, emergency treatment was done, the stomach was pumped, and the patient was admitted to the ward, and only then did the patient turn to safety.
Hanging water Peter opened his eyes, into the eyes of a white, nostrils filled with the smell of sterile water.
“If you don’t wake up, I’m going to have to give you artificial respiration.”
Zac sat in the escort chair and watched him without blinking.
“Can’t die.”
Peter sat up, looked at the needles stuck in the back of his hand, and didn’t struggle.
Just a mournful sigh, “How long has it been since you’ve been hospitalized? I remember the last time I was hospitalized was a few years ago.”
“Heh, you sound like you want to stay a few more times?”
Zac said with disdain.
“Really? I’d like to stay a few more times, but God doesn’t give the opportunity.” Time is running out, and it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to stay more than once.
“Knowing that your body is not working, you still drink, I think you are making a fool of yourself! Tell me, who are you drinking with?”
Zac questioned in quick succession.
If I knew it was those brothers who took Peter to drink, I must have gone to give them a burst of beatings.
“No one, it’s just that I want a drink.”
“What else do you have to hide from me? Is it because of what happened to Adriana.”
He hit the nail on the head, seemingly feeling that for Peter, the only thing he can’t worry about now is Adriana.
Peter was silent, silent for a while without speaking.
When he spoke again, he said, “Go and get me in touch with a reliable lawyer, preferably one that has no ties to YY Law Firm.”
YY Law Firm is doing well now and has a wide range of contacts in Waverly.
But Peter doesn’t want it to be known.
“What do you want?”
“Just go do it.”
Zac looked at him in confusion for a moment before he ‘oh’d’ and went to get a lawyer.
Thirty minutes later, the lawyer appeared in Mo’s hospital room.
Peter looked up at Zac, “You go out first.”
“Me? Why?”
“Get out when you’re told to, where’s the nonsense.”
“All right.”
