Knowing that Rene leaned over and said in her ear, “Mr. Boone, everyone has arrived.”
She nodded, before closing the few points of information in front of her, got up, and looked at a full twenty or so company executives.
Lifting his wrist, he looked at the time, “Thirty minutes past ten, good, a half hour earlier than I expected.”
I already knew that these old things would not give in so easily, so I didn’t hold out much hope and expect them to cooperate.
So said, those people’s faces changed slightly and began to talk.
“You are a young kid, I really don’t know what you have the ability to parachute into the Fryer Group Group as president.”
“If you ask me, you’re still too young. Young man, you’d better go back to Los Angeles before it’s too late.”
“Exactly. Today is the board meeting, you should have called earlier to let us know, but we only just got the call.”
“It’s really young.”

Everyone blamed Adriana.
Adriana propped her hands on the round table, her stern gaze sweeping over each person, memorizing each one’s appearance.
After a few minutes of silence, waiting quietly for everyone to be quiet, she spoke, “All done? Well, now it’s my turn to speak.”
She picked up the information in her hand, flipped it open, and said, “Randall, Planning Department, accepted more than N tasks in a year, but each time did not finish first, serious procrastination. Caused the company to lose, more than five million.”
“Antonio Griffin, Purchasing, during his tenure, had many bad and vague purchasing lists that varied greatly from the actual billings.”
“Ministry of Finance, three years … six million disappeared out of thin air. Logistics Department …”
Adriana took the file and went over all the records.
The faces of all the people present sank a few shades.
Someone shot up, “Are you kidding me? You say a deficit is a deficit and embezzlement is embezzlement?”
“That’s right, nonsense.”
“It’s a bunch of nonsense.”
“The new official has three fires, you’re just messing around.”

In a flash, the conference room exploded, and everyone looked at Adriana with angry eyes, full of hostility.
Adriana stood up straight, hands in her pants pockets, and looked at them with cold eyes.
Waiting for them to keep talking and bickering, they finally got quiet after ten minutes.
She then said, “Rene, take these lists to the bosses and give them a good look.”
Adriana snapped and flung something on the table.
Rene and Anne both took the papers and handed them down to everyone, one for each person.
Those people took the file, opened it, and the data on it really made every one of them turn pale. For a time, those people look at me, I look at you, face pig liver color.
“Today, I am here to make things clear. I’ll let each of you off the hook for what happened. After all, you’re all veterans of the company and have contributed to the company in some way, so I’ll consider it a reward for you. However, from now on if I see the same thing happen again, I’m sorry, not only will I not be merciful, but I will also send it to the prosecutor’s office together with the information in your hands.
So, all of the above is turned over, and you don’t have to take it to heart.”
She had done a thorough investigation long before coming to the company, not to mention that she was born a lawyer, so she was more sensitive in some things.
With one word, everyone was silent, caught in the crosshairs, making the crowd quite surprised.
Once again, I was impressed with her.
Adriana was silent for a moment and added, “But the next project at Clear Bay Resort, I want everyone to work together to take it down.”
“You’re kidding, right? Who doesn’t know that the Clear Bay Project Alston Group is in it for the taking this time?”
“That’s it. There’s the Lindsay Group competing as well.”
“There’s also Grant Group, and several large companies from out of state that are bidding. You think it’s that easy to take down?”

Those people started bashing again.
Adriana smiled indifferently, her lips pursed into a line, “Good point, it’s because it’s not easy to take down that I have you all working together. Otherwise, do you think the company’s money is so easy to take?”
“You, what do you mean?”
“You’re threatening us? Big deal, I’m quitting.”
“Youthful indiscretion.”
“Arrogance!”

“By the way, I forgot to tell you one thing. Before I joined the company Lawson was a lawyer, and this is a famous barrister in Los Angeles that I tapped for a high salary. Do you know why?”
She asked a question, not waiting for everyone to speak, she then added: “It is because you are holding those unseemly rotten accounts in your hands that I called her over. So don’t yell in front of me, want to resign, as long as you ask. I immediately agreed! Police station, I will personally drive you there.”
A very shocking statement.
Those people look at me, I look at you, scared to death.
But someone stood up and said, “What kind of ability do you have to threaten me with something? Even if we try to work together to take the Clear Bay tourist resort project, if we don’t take it, you will still say we didn’t work hard enough.”
“Yeah, George has a point.”
“Who says it isn’t.”
“You’re just setting us up.”

One by one, they were filled with disdain for Adriana, while at the same time fearing the information in Adriana’s hands that was enough to keep them from turning over for the rest of their lives.
“I’m here to give you a promise. After the Clear Bay Project, if you want to resign, I will write a letter of responsibility to ensure that you will not be held responsible for any financial relationships that occur after you leave.”
Adriana’s words were punctuated by a glance at her wristwatch, “It’s eleven o’clock, that concludes the meeting.”
She packed her things, got up and left straight away.
Anne glanced at Adriana with some depression, and then at Rene, who was equally puzzled.
The two men followed.
Back in the office, Anne couldn’t help but ask: “ad… Mr. Boone, what exactly do you mean? You just say that casually and that’s the end of it? They will not convince you ah? Besides, you’re making such a big deal out of it, aren’t you afraid of retaliation?”
“My name is Lawson and I just like to flaunt it like that. They have the handle in my hand, I ruffle the words out, without much ado, they themselves know what to do. As for those who secretly want to do something, feel free to come, I guarantee that … will make them cry and come to me and beg for mercy.”
The domineering words shocked Anne hard.
She glanced at the company unoccupied, came up to her and said, “You’re so handsome Lawson, I find I’m in love with you, what do I do?”
“I’m sexually correct, don’t be ridiculous.”
She didn’t have the time to joke with Anne and placed the thick information there in front of her, “Hurry up and take a look at this information, we have to go over to Clear Bay this afternoon.”
“Oh, good.”
Anne responded.
