“Heh, it’s not like you to be eager to die.”
Raylan returned the question lightly.
Adriana’s fists were clenched and she threw a flying kick, which Raylan seemed familiar with her routine and easily dodged, and then she threw a left hook towards his face.
The man took her hand in his large grip and brought her into his arms, tightening his arms around her waist.
A killing game suddenly turned the conversation, adding a little ambiguous color.
Adriana frowned with some sensitivity and glared at him and whispered, “Raylan, are you going to die? Let go!”
As she spoke, she did not forget to raise her knee to kick him in the crotch, the man’s right hand clasped her knee, “Are you trying to waste me?”
“It’s not impossible.”
Adriana took the opportunity to push him away, but Raylan grabbed her wrist and pulled her back with one force.
The scene was like a waltz, more like Raylan flirting with her.
“Stupid. How are you going to get out without hurting me?”
He shoved the gun in his hand smoothly into Adriana’s hand, and without waiting for Adriana to react, he took her hand and shot himself in the abdomen.
Bang–
Raylan’s gun was not fitted with a silencer, so the sound shocked several people.
He fell to the ground in one smooth motion and ‘passed out’ from the pain.
Adriana was stunned for a moment, looking down at the fallen man only to find that he had blinked somewhat mischievously toward her, then immediately closed his eyes and pretended to be unconscious.
She then joined forces with Alvin to take on the four remaining men, but it was only a matter of three or two moves, easily defeating several of them.
“Hurry up.”
Adriana looked at several people who had fallen to the ground and rolled in pain, either seriously injured or suffering from gunshot wounds and various hang-ups.
She pulled Alvin and fled through the back door.
“Where to now?”
Alvin asked as he ran.
“I don’t know.”
Adriana has no destination.
“Get in my car.”
Alvin took Adriana’s hand backwards, led her to the car and drove away.
Driving on the wide road, Alvin took a long breath and put the car on auto-pilot, looking sideways at the woman beside him, wrinkling his brow suspiciously, “Who the hell are you?”
In the course of the game, Adriana’s arm was also wounded, being slashed with a dagger, spilling crimson blood.
It just wasn’t clear to see under the black suit.
She looked down and bandaged the wound, “It’s not good to be too curious.” Raising her eyes, her clear lustrous brown pupils lit up with a slightly indifferent smile, “Wouldn’t you say, Mr. Grant?”
Today’s Adriana went out wearing contacts, just gaming process glasses also fell off, but at least the makeup is not destroyed, not to be found identity.
Alvin a white suit, now made full of mess, clothes stained with blood and stains, extraordinarily messy, but in no way affect his noble and gentle breath.
The sunny and handsome face still gives a kind of white-faced scholar that is gentle and affectionate.
The familiar feeling makes Adriana’s heart flutter, not a love flutter, but the excitement of reuniting after years of not seeing a close friend again.
She so wanted to give Alvin a hug, as her weak self once did, showing a scene of shyness and cowardice in front of him.
But now Adriana seems to have forgotten how to be a weak little girl.
“Good point.”
Alvin raised one eyebrow, nodded and took out the medical kit from the storage box, “Here, bandage it yourself. You are agile, you look like a practitioner, dressing wounds should not be a problem for you, right?”
Adriana shook her head, “I think it would be more of a gentlemanly gesture on your part to help me with my wounds.”
Some playfully handed the medical kit to Alvin, and body hand wounded left arm, looking at him, waiting for him to treat his wounds.
“Huh.”
His narrow eyes glanced meaningfully at Adriana and shook his head with a smile, “Good.”
Lowering his head, he concentrated on treating her wound.
Adriana looked at Alvin and noticed that he seemed to have changed and not changed much after a few years of absence.
The only thing that was obvious to her was that the former senior had a lot of smiles, but now he has more of the vicissitudes and gloom that come with age, and less of a smile.
He looked like a broken man who had been devastated.
“Mr. Grant is from Swoywana, what brings him to Los Angeles?”
“You seem to know me well?”
He took the scissors and cut open Adriana’s sleeve and looked at the hideous scar, the flesh turned out and was spilling blood.
If it were on an ordinary woman, she would be crying in pain, but she actually had the heart to laugh?
“If I didn’t know you, how could I come to your rescue?”
“Entrusted by someone?”
Alvin’s question silenced Adriana for a moment, “Yes and no.”
“How much do you want to be paid?”
He asked.
Adriana withdrew her gaze, leaned back against the car seat, looked ahead and said blandly, “You haven’t answered my question.”
“Your wound is serious and you need to go to the hospital for stitches or you will be left with scars.”
Alvin examined the wound, cleaned the blood, put medicine on it, and then wrapped it with gauze.
Adriana drew back her arm with slight displeasure, “Stop the car.”
Alvin froze, looked up at her, and finding a strong air of gloom running down that painted cheek, returned, “For a friend.”
“Which friend?”
“Curiosity killed the cat.” He gagged her with what Adriana had said earlier.
Adriana bristled, feeling deeply that Alvin’s attitude toward her was too defensive and cold.
Trying to get some reliable information from his mouth seems impossible at all.
Pointed to the intersection ahead, “Stop there.”
Snort–
Arriving at the intersection, the car stopped.
Adriana raised her hand and hit the doorknob, the moment she opened the door, she lurched and then turned back in slow motion, “You’re in danger, those people didn’t get it today and will continue, good luck.”
Get out of the car and close the door.
The car window slowly lowered, Alvin poked his head out and looked at her standing outside, “I don’t know how to contact, why don’t you leave your contact information for my future …”
“No need.”
She coldly rebuffed.
Such a cold attitude really made Alvin freeze for a long time, a little surprised.
He shrugged, “Thank you. If you need anything in the future, I will do my best if you ask.”
Adriana smiled and turned to walk away.
Senior, I don’t need your return, because I saved you only to repay the favor.
You saved my life once, and I remember it.
Today, we’re even.
The unexpected situation at the Victoria Mansion attracted a lot of reporters to chase after them, but the few people sent out by Solomon quickly withdrew at the first opportunity, not wanting their presence to be known to the outside world.
That night, Raylan and a few of the men who had been left in disarray were brought back to the island.
The man lying on the bed opened his eyes and was met with Solomon’s cold eyes.
“Why are you here?”
