After we rescued Anna Jerome and I brought her to the hospital. She insisted that she was fine but two of us didn’t agree to her idea to send her home. While on our way to the hospital Anna fell asleep.
“She has a hospital trauma Denyx that’s the reason she doesn’t want to be in the hospital. After the incident that day she was stuck in the hospital bed for long and that’s why she avoided this place as much as she can.”
“I understood Jerome. I couldn’t imagine myself staying in the hospital bed that long. But we all want her to be safe and we didn’t know exactly what they have done to her. I think it’s better that the doctor can examine her condition first if we can bring her home or not.”
When we arrived at the hospital, we took Anna with us at the emergency room.
“I need your best doctor now.” I told everyone in the room.
“Yes sir, right away!” Soon enough we saw the doctor coming to us.
” Hi I’m doctor Al. Let the patient lie down.” He ordered. The nurses assisted Anna to lie down and he examined Anna gently while we were watching him.
” She is weak at the moment. She needs to rest. I guess she haven’t eaten yet. We will gave her dextrose to boost her energy. In few hours she will be fine then.” Dr Al told us.
I got a private room for her. The most luxurious room in the hospital. I don’t care how much it cost when it comes to the woman I love.
Uncle Arthur and mom drove to the hospital where Anna was admitted to see her.
I was sitting on the chair next to her bed and Jerome was sitting on the couch when there were knocks on the door. Jerome stood up and said.
“I’ll open the door.” I nodded my head and when the door opened uncle Arthur and mom rushed inside the door.
“How is she?” Uncle Arthur asked. I stood up and offered him the chair so he can sit next to Anna.
“She’s okay uncle, she’s resting. The doctor gave her a sleeping medicine so she can rest.”
“Thank God she’s okay.” Mom spoke with her teary eyes. I help her hands and hugged her.
“She will be alright mom, we are here to help her.” I said and walked her to the couch and we sat next to Jerome.
“I can’t believe Elle did this to us son. I’ve known her as a sweet child but indeed I don’t know her true color until I found out what she did to Anna.” Mom said sadly.
“I’m sorry mom I know you cared for her but she did such a thing and it is better for us not to see each other anymore. She has to pay for what she had done.”
“I understand son. Whatever you think is better, I will respect your decision.” I squeezed moms hand for thanking her.
Uncle Arthur held Anna’s left hand and kiss it and we were all watching him.
“Sweetheart I’m sorry if you’ve been through with all these things. Thank you for not giving up so easily. I don’t know what will happen to me if I loose you.
Daddy loves you so much. I’m here now and I will make sure they’ll pay for what they did to you.”
Uncle Arthur told her.
After sometimes he joined us. He sat opposite to us and settled himself then faced us.
“Denyx and Jerome I would like to thank you for saving Anna. If it weren’t because of you Anna might not here anymore. I owed you a lot.” He told us.
“Uncle Anna is like a sister to me and I will not hesitate to save her over and over again. You’re my family that’s the least I can help.” Jerome said.
“Anna is very important to uncle Arthur and I love her. And even it will take my own life to save her I will do so. I already lost her once and I won’t allow it to happen again.” I told him.
“Thank you to both of you. I am grateful for your helped.” He replied.
Suddenly I told them.
“Uncle, mom and Jerome since we are all here I want to ask your permission. I want to propose to her. I want to marry Anna.”
“Oh my goodness! I’m so happy son.” Mom said excitedly. She pulled me close to her and hugged me.
” Bro, please don’t ever break her heart otherwise you will be forbidden to see her again. I am truly happy for you. Congratulations!” Jerome said smiling.
“Denyx I know my daughter loved you and she’s genuinely happy to have you back in her life. Promise me that you will look after her and never let anyone hurt her anymore. She is everything to me and my world goes on with her since my wife died. She’s a gem and I know that you meant each other. I want to walk my daughter in the aisle and give her hand to the person whom she deserve and it is you. So yes, I’m giving you my blessings to marry her. ” Uncle Arthur’s teary eyes sparkled with happiness.
I stood up with joy in my heart and hugged uncle Arthur.
“I promised I will give her the world she deserved. Thank you uncle and it mean a lot to me.” I took off my arms on him and smiled.
He tapped my shoulder and said.
“We are happy for you and please I need grand children very soon.” We all laughed. Then our attention went back to the person who was sleeping in the bed.
“What did I miss? You guys seemed very happy.” She smiled while looking to us.
We all stood up and rushed toward her.
“Sweetheart you’re awake!”
“Dad, I’m okay. Sorry I made you worried. Thank you Denyx and Jerome for saving me. If it weren’t with you Elle and Kevin might did something worsen than what you saw.” She spoke
“Babe you don’t have to thank us. You’re very important to these family.” I told her.
“We were glad you’re safe now Anna. That’s all matter now.” Jerome said.
“Darling I hope your okay now. I’m really sorry for what happened to you.” Mom told Anna.
“Aunt Kate I am okay. It was a nightmare to remember but I am grateful I have you all to help me recover from it. I am honestly okay now and I want to go home.” She said.
“Sweetheart I think you have to stay until later it’s alright midnight.” Uncle Arthur explained.
“Dad I wanna go home please. I don’t like hospital and you knew that.”
“Please dad… I promised I will rest but not in this place.” She pleaded.
We all understand that she was been through a lot staying at the hospital.
“It’s okay uncle I will manage that. I will take her home with me. I will be staying in her apartment to look after her.” I volunteered.
“Are you sure about that Denyx?” Uncle asked.
“You don’t have to do that babe, I’m okay.”
“Anna please stop being stubborn. I think it’s the best way Denyx will stay with you until you’ll fully recovered. Don’t worry I’ll take care the company.” Jerome said.
“Sweetheart you will have two operations only. Going back to the mansion or going back to your apartment but Denyx is staying with you for the moment.”
“Okay fine he will stay with me.” She agreed.
“I’ll bring cook food tomorrow morning in your apartment okay?” Mom said.
“I will be there tomorrow morning for breakfast too.” Uncle Arthur motioned.
“Perfect.” Jerome and I said in unison.
After I spoke to doctor Al and I settled the bill, uncle Arthur went home with his driver and mom’s driver drove her back to her place. Jerome, Anna and I went back to Lawrence Apartment together. We dropped Jerome at Lawrence Apartment building B while Anna and I went back at building A.
When we arrived, I parked the car and opened the door for her.
“Come baby let’s go.”
“Thank you babe.” She smiled while getting down the car.
I held her hand and we walked to the lift. I pressed the button and soon we arrived at 20th floor.
“Wait! I don’t have my key. I don’t know where’s my purse.” She panicked.
“Baby relax, I have a spare key with me.” I told her.
“Thank goodness! I thought we will end up to your apartment.”
“Even we will end up in my apartment I won’t do anything against your will.” I smiled
She slapped my arm playfully.
“I didn’t say that.” She blushed.
I swiped the key on the door and opened it wider for her to come in first.
“I know am just kidding. Come on the door is open. Let’s go inside.” I told her and we went inside the apartment.
“You should go to bed now babe. I will suit myself in the guest room.”
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
I moved closer to her and pulled her in front of me. I capped her face with my two hands and kissed her lips.
“I’m fine. Now go inside your room and rest we will talk tomorrow morning.”
She put her arms around my neck and kissed me back.
“Thank you so much for being here with me tonight. Especially for saving me from them.”
“I will come to save you even it will take me to the moon.”
She laughed and pinched my cheek.
“Good night my shining knight.”
“Good night my queen.”
I walked her to her door and opened it for her.
“Thank you.” She looked at me once again before she went inside her room. I nodded my head and closed the door. I walked to the opposite side of her room where the guest room was. I took a quick shower and laid my back in the bed and fell asleep.
