It’s really hard to ignore this feeling I have for Chloe.
Today I can’t explain but I am happy being with her around me.
I had to cancelled all my appointment just to be with her.
Luckily I signed a big project with Johnson company so I can demand of her time to this project I signed with them even I don’t have any interest with it.
All I do care is being with her because she’s reminding me of Anna.
I told her that we will used my car going to the project site.
While I am driving. There were a silent inside the car. I can feel her tense. Then I asked her “Would you mind if I ask you something?” focusing on the road while I’m driving.
She turned her head to the left side to face me.
“Sure! Not at all.” She said.
“Why did you left this morning without waking me up?” I asked
“Sorry about that, I just thought you were tired and I bothered you enough to disturb your rest.” She replied and turned her head again looking on the road.
” Is that so?” I asked again
” Yes, nothing else. ” She seems firm with it.
” Are you sure it has nothing to do of what had happened last night? ”
Asking her about our kiss last night.
” Please forget what had happened to us last night. The kiss was an accident. I fell on you accidentally and that was it. Don’t think about that anymore.”
I can see she is blushing and tense but I have to calm my self not to be impulsive in front of her.
I know she’s trying to avoid me because she seems so cold to me ever since we met.
“I’ll try to forget it but I can’t promise.”
“What do you mean by that?” She asked
“Nothing.” I said.
I saw her closed her eyes and she looked tired.
I didn’t bother to ask her anymore so she can rest on our way to the project site that we are going.
I looked at her delicate face and she seemed soundly asleep after a few minutes.
She’s breathing evenly. I let her slept and when her head fell on the left side I let my shoulder catch it so she won’t wake up.
I have to adjust my position closer to her side so I can support her head comfortably on my shoulder.
We arrived in the project site but still she’s sleeping soundly.
Still I didn’t wake her up instead I watched her every breath she takes.
I wanted to kiss her but I restrain my self doing it because it is not yet the right time. Fifteen minutes had passed and she’s still sleeping.
I felt her body froze and suddenly she open her eyes and sit straight and looked at me. She’s slightly confused.
Now we are facing and our eyes are locked while I’m looking at her smiling. She’s completely blushing in front of me.
“I’m so sorry Mr. Moore I didn’t know I fell asleep and you didn’t wake me up. How long did I sleep?” She asked nervously.
“Relax Chloe please call me Denyx. First of all you look more beautiful when you’re asleep and blushing.” I am grinning at her.
“I didn’t wake you up because you seemed very tired and we’ve been here for fifteen minutes.”
” Oh gosh why did I sleep. What I have done! It’s so embarrassing. I’m so sorry for sleeping on your shoulder Denyx I didn’t mean this to happen.” She said while she cup her face with my 2 hands.
“Why are you upset Chloe? It’s not a big deal. Come on don’t be sorry about it. It’s fine.”
I tried to comfort her but I know she’s really embarrassed right now.
Then I reached out the lollipop in my car compartment in front of her.
“Here take this it might help you feeling better when you’re upset.” I told her but she was surprised of what I’m giving to her.
Her eyes are wide open staring on the lollipop I am holding. She looked at my face and then looked back on the lollipop.
“Go on take it, it might help you I won’t mind if you eat this lollipop.” I said looking at her with a smile on my face.
She took the lollipop on my hand smiling then opened it and put in her mouth.
“Hmmm this is really good. Thank you Denyx.” I don’t care if I look crazy having lollipop but I can’t resist it at all.”
She said while enjoying her lollipop.
The tension slowing fading on her face. For the 1st time she smiled sincerely .
Suddenly she asked me feeling confused. “Why do you have a lollipop in your car?” I chuckled.
“Believe it or not I do have always lollipop with me. It reminds me of something.” I told her. Suddenly my face turned serious.
” That’s the only thing it reminds me of someone very important to me. ”
I sighed.
There were silence inside the car while she’s licking her lollipop.
I don’t mind watching her eating lollipop in front of me as it makes me really happy because I can see Anna to her.
Then after few minutes she spoke.
“That someone must be very lucky.”
She said but I can’t clearly see what is her face expression as she turned her head to the other side so I can’t see her face.
She’s looking outside the window. I am not an open typical person when it comes to my personal life but when I am with her I don’t find it difficult to open up anything.
” Yes, she was.”
I told her but there’s a hint of sadness in my heart.
I know it’s unfair for her that I am seeing Anna with her because she’s Chloe.
She didn’t say anything then.
I just watched her enjoying her lollipop then when it was completely over she faced me. “Shall we go out now? We consumed too time already I think it’s time to see the site.”
I gave her responsed.
“hmmm”
Then we got down from the car.
She’s independent woman and I can see she is different one.
She looks workaholic too like me.
I wish I could work with her all the time even thinking of it is quite weird.
I’ve know her for few days but it seems like I know her for a long time.
We walk to the site of the housing projects and inspected the area.
There were workers who greeted us.
And the manager site of this project came and offered us to stay in the small temporary office.
They used it while they are working for this project.
I didn’t see much about it because I just want to be with her.
I saw how she’s very detailed of this project. She command and instructs them about the building.
Oh yeah I forget to mention that she’s smart. She graduated in business management and architecture.
But the thing I love to see her at this time is she’s not a picky woman.
She might wearing high heels but no sign of disgusting around the place.
She doesn’t care if dirt comes on her shoes or clothes.
She’s not choosey as well as I can see she loves lollipop.
It made me smile a little bit looking at her how she handles things without a single worry how she look like.
Unlike other women who can’t even stand this place to deal a work with constructions.
It took us two and half hours to finish checking and discussing about the project.
And I don’t understand much but for sure Chloe does a lot.
She’s the project in charge anyway.
When she was done sorting things with Mr. Needly the site manager.
She finally looked at her watch and noticed the time.
“Oh no! It’s already twenty minutes past five. I’m so sorry Mr. Moore for taking your time that long. I need to finish these things today because I can’t be here in few days. I didn’t notice it’s quite late already for you.”
She seemed so worried.
” I’m fine don’t worry watching you here doing these works I can’t complain because believe me I understand.”
I assured her that I am completely okay being with here today.
“thank you. We will be going now.”
She said but without looking at me she started walking toward the car.
I unlocked my car and catch up with her while walking and open the door for her.
“Thank you Mr. Moore you don’t have to do this. I can open the door for my self.”
“Please call me Denyx when no one is with us and even in front of anybody as long as you’re comfortable.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
She sit inside the co-driver seat.
I hurriedly walked to the driver door and open the door to sit and buckled my self as Chloe waiting for me.
I started the engine and hold the steering wheel tightly, and the car start to move.
She was quite and I wonder what she’s thinking.
I cleared my throat after awhile before talking to her.
” You must be hungry now. Would you like to have a dinner first before going back to your apartment?”
I asked her. She looks really tired and I felt sorry about her work. She’s looking outside the window beside her.
“It’s up to you. I think I do really have no choice now because honestly I am hungry.”
She responds in a low voice that sounds of being exhausted, after a long day of work for her.
There is a smile on my face. At least she didn’t refuse to have dinner with me this time even though I know she’s really tired.
I don’t mind without her willingness to have this dinner with.
As long as I can spend this time with her I am happy.
