I woke up in the hospital bed at 8:00 AM in the morning and when I looked at the couch of the receiving room I saw Denyx sleeping soundly with out knowing my presence.
After we’d kiss last night, I slept only 2 hours thinking how gorgeous he was in front of me. But I can’t let my self fooled by him or the people around me.
I stood up quietly and went to the wash room to brush my teeth and wash my face.
When I looked at the clocked hanging on the wall it was past fifteen minutes eight in the morning.
I slowly walked beside the bed took my handbag and phone with me. I took a pen and paper then wrote a note for him. I put it on the table next the bed.
I gave him one more glance before I strode out the hospital VIP room.
My heart beat was racing like a horses that difficult to stop.
He was so attractive that I can’t deny to myself. If I will still wait for him to wake up, I might fall in him.
He deserved my thank that’s why I left him a note before I left the room.
At least even though I was being rude to him. I still appreciate his kindness gestures to me. Which made me think why he has to stayed in the hospital with me.
He is rich and for sure he can get a woman anything by his means but not me.
I have a plan and his flirting won’t stop me for doing what I worked for, just to be in the nerves of Moore Corporation.
I went to the billing counter to pay the bill but to my surprised the person in charge informed me that Denyx Moore already paid the hospital bill last night.
I don’t like to own somebody’s favor but I have no choice as it is already paid.
I will pay him some other day when the tense will go away between us.
I don’t want him to assume that I need his help.
Once I stepped out from the hospital I called a taxi.
The taxi stopped in the front of the hospital and I opened the door to let my self in.
I told the driver to send me to my apartment because I couldn’t wait for my driver to pick up in the hospital.
And on my way I took out my phone in my bag and dialed Jerome’s number.
Soon the line was connected.
“Hey, Chloe how are you? You okay? I was worried about you since last night. I’ve been waiting for your call.”
The rushed of his worried voice echoed in my ear.
He’s my best friend and I know how worried he was when he know he couldn’t even come to see me.
He has no idea which hospital I was.
“Calm down buddy I’m fine. The allergy was gone long back but the doctor wanted me to rest in the hospital for one night.
I’m really sorry for your worries. I’m on my way back to my apartment and I will meet you in the office Jerome. ”
I can hear his sighs and he finally settled with his worries.
” Okay, anything else you need just let me know. I’m already in the office and if you think it is necessary for you to get a rest have a day off I can handle the office.
You can rest today. You know Anna I can’t stop worrying if you’re in trouble right? Uncle Arthur trusted me enough for your life.
I can’t believed that man hang up with me last night after he answered my call to you. I know he looks no harm but you knows?
We don’t know yet who are behind your mother’s death.”
His voice was filled with concerns and I know how worried he was when he calls me with my real name.
He was sighing constantly on the other line.
” I’m sorry about that buddy. I know it’s a lot to ask you for all of these but I can handle my self.
Thank you for your concern just please don’t tell dad about what had happened last night. He will surely get worried about me. He is already old and lately his health is not good I just don’t want to stress him out with my stupidity, Okay?”
I assured him begging for him not to tell dad. I love my dad more than anything in this world and I can’t afford to lose him if he find out what I am doing.
He told me once that he doesn’t want me to take revenge if it takes my life again at this time.
He moved on and accept mom’s death and he doesn’t want to lose me too.
If there will be another danger coming up if they find out that I am alive.
He agreed to my decision to expand my business here in L. A but that was what he thought.
But my plan was different. I want to take revenge of what they took from me.
I want to dig more what were the reason why they killed my mom and I could almost die but it was part of their game.
I have to figure out why they planned to kill my mom. It was painful.
Two Decades had passed but the fresh of wound is still inside me.
“Honey pie you’re still there? I hope you’re okay. I won’t tell uncle if you’re worried about it. You know I can’t say no to you right?” Assuring me not to worry about.
” Thanks buddy I owe you this.”
I sigh.
” It’s nothing honey, you know that you’re my best friend and uncle Arthur helped me and mom in so many things especially my education remember that.
You’re a sister to me. What matters for you also matters for me, so don’t worry too much. Anyway if you really want to come here in your office anytime you want it’s not a problem. You’re meeting some investors later this afternoon including Mr. Moore.”
Jerome’s last word made me rattled but I managed to calm my self.
“Okay buddy I’ll talk to you later once I arrive in my office. Thanks again, bye.”
I hang up the call.
I arrived in my apartment building without noticing it since my mind is occupied with Jerome’s word that I’m meeting Denyx later this afternoon.
“Miss were here at Lawrence Building.”
The taxi driver called me.
” Oh yeah, thank you sir. Here’s the bill, please keep the change. ”
“Thank you miss.”
He replied.
I handed the bill to the driver and opened the car door to get down.
I went straight to my apartment floor. I looked at the opposite door where I am staying but I never seen somebody in this floor since I came here.
I let go of the deep sigh and unlock my door. I needed a bath at the moment.
I walked to my kitchen took a cereal in my refrigerator and fresh milk.
I sat on the chair and put my bowl of cereal on table and ate for my breakfast silently thinking of dealing my time with Denyx later.
I shook my head and stood up when I looked down my cereal bowl was empty without noticing it.
After my short breakfast I went to my room.
I opened the door and went straight to my wardrobe and picked out a peach dress that fitted my curve.
“This is perfect for today. If he wants to flirt with me then I will play the game and make sure I’ll get the documents I needed to support the case I need to file for those who were involved in the car accident.”
I talked to myself and smiled bitterly.
I put the dress in the bed and went to the bathroom and took a shower.
I took off my clothes and checking my figure on the mirror.
Who would thought that the crying child before had grown up into a gorgeous and smart lady. After looking my self on the mirror I walked my self under the warm shower and let the water wash all the heavy thoughts and worries inside me.
After fifteen minutes under the warm shower I turned of the shower and reached the towel to dry my body.
I wrapped the towel around my body above my chest. And wrapped my hair with another hairband towel to dry my hair.
I walked from the bathroom and unwrapped my wet hair after plugging the hair dryer.
I carefully dried my hair and when I was done I took my lacey underwear and skin tone bra and wore them.
I reached my dress in the bed and slip my self in and pulled my dress up to go cover my body. Looking in the mirror I am satisfied with my look.
My peach dress is just perfectly fitted on my beautiful body.
My butt is extremely sexy with my beautiful boobs curving in the dress.
Its just right above my knees.
I don’t like make up but I don’t mind putting lipstick and a bit shades for my eyebrows to look more extra fine.
I combed my hair that above shoulder and and put on a light red lipstick and a brown shade eyeliner on my eyebrows.
I am delighted to be me when I dress up.
I don’t hide my self in my dresses and make up because I know I had enough hiding my real name and identity for so many years.
I have a blessed face not to boast but mostly of the men adors it.
After fixing my self I let out of deep sigh and grab my black hand bag and black four inches shoes and slipped inn my feet.
I put my phone and wallet inside my bag and key then walked out from my apartment.
The door automatically locked.
I came out from my apartment to the elevator door and pressed the ground floor.
“Ding…”
The elevator opened and I walked in alone inside.
I pressed the Ground button and less than few minutes I reached the ground floor.
When right after I came out to the apartment lobby, I saw Mr. Grey my driver.
” Good morning Miss Chloe.”
He greeted me with a smile.
” Good morning Mr. Grey, how are you?”
I asked him.
” I’m doing good thank you.”
I walked toward him and he opened the passenger seat for me.
I slid my self in and he started the car going to Johnson Company here in L. A.
Jerome is waiting for me in the office.
We have so many things to discuss.
I have the opportunity to get in the Moore Corporation confidential files if I get Denyx closer to me.
I have to convince Jerome for that because he won’t allow me to be around with Denyx all the time.
