I was laying on the couch with my eyes were closed but I can sense her smell and every steps she’s taking towards me as the hospital room was been so quiet.
I can’t think properly with her presence around me. I started to think that I’m going crazy for this feeling I couldn’t understand.
I was in a deep thoughts thinking of her face how beautiful she was when she smiles.
Although she is very cold person in front of anyone.
The closer she get to me the harder my heart beats.
I felt the blanket landed and covered my body. She came to covered me with blanket even I didn’t ask for it.
She might be guilty or whatever her purposed.
But my heart is beating so fast and I am happy thinking she does care of me.
When she’s about to leave I opened my eyes and pulled her close to me.
It caused her to fell on my body. I couldn’t control my feeling to her and the desired to kiss her.
I put my one hand on her waist wanting to make sure she will stay still and my other hand wrapped her shoulders and slowly I caressed her skin and my hand stop on her face.
I capped her face with my hands and pulled her closer to me and kissed her.
She didn’t response nor move. I enjoyed the kiss and made it deeper.
But she came to realised what we were doing. And the reality hit me, when she pushed away her body with a great distance from me.
She was angry with me and she knows I was off limit of my emotions and actions.
I shouldn’t do that even I really wanted too.
So I told her.
“I’m sorry Miss Mack, I didn’t mean do disrespect you of what had happened.”
I said although I wanted to tell her that I really love the kissed we had.
But I knew I couldn’t say it. It can be cause of her distance from me.
Knowing her attitude of being cold surely she will keep her distance.
I was scared to be rejected by her.
So it’s better to admit a mistake rather than looking her that soon.
There were silent in the room. Our two heart beats can be heard.
Chloe didn’t say anything for few minutes and when she finally told me.
” Mr. Moore I will accept your apology by this time because you also helped me here in the hospital but next time if you will do this again, I will assure you I won’t be polite anymore with you.
You should know that we are strangers and you are my boss’ business investor.
I don’t want to entangle with you.
I hope it’s very clear to both of us.”
She then turned around her back to me and walked toward the hospital bed.
She tucked in her self in bed and covered her body with blanket.
I was left speechless in the couch looking at her.
My heart stubbed with her words. It pained like thousands of ant bites it.
Looking at her in the bed for quite long time I sigh deeply and slowly laid down on my back facing the ceiling.
I closed my eyes and all I could see was her enchanted face.
” I won’t give up on you Anna, you might telling me your Chloe but I won’t really give up finding the truth.
You’re identity is very limited but soon I will find out. I won’t give up.
I will wait for it even it will take many years to find who really you are. I already waited so long for this hope and I can wait more no matter what it takes to get you back with me.”
I murmured in my mind.
I didn’t know what time I fell asleep but when I woke up slowly opened my eyes. I looked at the bed but it was empty.
I suddenly stood up and looked around the room the toilet door was opened but no one is around. Chloe is not in the room.
“Damn! I slept so well.”
I said.
Probably because I was exhausted yesterday.
I was bothered with Chloe’s presence and I couldn’t even close my eyes without realising how much she mean to me.
I looked at the my watch and it was eleven o’clock in the morning.
The sun rise was already shining brightly high outside the window.
When I was about to leave I saw the small note on the table. I walked closer next in front of the table and pick up the note then read it.
” Mr. Moore thank you for last night’s helped. I didn’t wake you up because I thought you need rest after troubling you whole night.
Have a good day! – Chloe.”
I smiled after reading her note.
I guessed she is okay now and that’s matter most.
She already left and didn’t bother to wake me up.
I kept the note she wrote in my pocket and walked toward the room. I walked in the hallway toward the elevator.
I pressed the button.
“ding….”
The door opened and I went inside and pressed the button going to the ground floor. “Ding…”
The door was opened and I walked to my car.
I pressed my car remote and soon the door was unlocked.
I open the driver seat and slid in my body. I put in the car key and started the engine. I drove going to my villa.
When I was driving, Chloe’s face is all in my mind.
I sighed and connected my phone in my car’s Bluetooth and dialed Alex’s number.
Once the phone was ring once the line was connected.
“Young master good morning. How are you?” He asked.
“Alex I want you to call Ms. Mack that I will be going with her today to see the construction site of the project she’s handling.”
Without farther ado I hang up the call. Alex wasn’t get a chance to refuse and ask when I cut off our call conversation.
I need to get closer to her otherwise I will lost her again.
I am fucking scared of loosing Anna again. And I don’t want to loose Chloe as well.
She might not admitted it but my heart tells so.
I didn’t notice that I already arrived in my villa when all my mind was only occupied with Chloe.
My security guard opened the gate and I drove straight way to my garage and park the car. When my car reached my garage I opened the car door and got came out of the car.
Mrs. Dime opened the door for me. Since I was young she took good care of me.
When her late husband died she moved out with me from the mansion and stayed with me in the villa where I bought to have my own privacy.
Although the Moore mansion belongs to me still I moved out because I don’t like the presence of my step father and step brother always around me.
My mom disagree with my idea at first but as an adult, she knows she couldn’t force me to stay in the Moore mansion.
Since my father died my life was even complicated after my mother married another man Mike and also brought his son Kevin in our house.
I never like them but at the very young age I couldn’t refuse to what my mother wanted to do in her life.
When Anna’s accident with Mrs. Mc Len my life became even more sobber.
The only person that made me happy after my father’s death was also gone in my sight.
I was devastated and hopeless but I used those pain to be successful and became billionaire at my very young age.
I managed to focused all my effort and time to my studies.
I graduated in Harvard university with a top ranked.
After graduation I started my Technology business that made me become a rich person in the world.
When my step father Kevin took over our family business the Moore Corporation when my father died it slowly sunk.
But the Mc Len Company came to rescued and right after the collaboration of two companies, Mrs. Mc Len and Anna’s death was announced in a car accident.
“Good morning Denyx, where have you been last night?”
She looked at me with a worried face and her confusing eyes expression.
“It was the first time you haven’t inform me that you won’t come home. I was worried with you son.”
Mrs. Dime is like my second mother.
She looked after me like her own child. I know she was worried with me because she only call me with my name when she is feeling uncomfortable.
I gave her an assurance smile.
“I’m sorry auntie Dime I wasn’t able to call you last night I had to deal some important matter and I really forgot to call you.”
I explained.
She nodded her head after hearing my explanation.
” Alright son, next time don’t forget to call when you are busy and couldn’t come home at least auntie won’t be worry for your safety.” She was now smiling looking at me.
” Okay auntie I won’t. ”
She stepped aside to give me a way.
“Go have a shower and come down for breakfast it is quite late I’m sure you haven’t eaten breakfast yet according to your look. ”
I nodded my head and walked inside the house.
I went upstairs in the second floor where my room is.
I opened the door of my room and went straight to my bathroom. I stood in the front of the mirror and looked at my self reflection.
“I am still dam looking good even without a shower but Chloe Mack ignored me like I doesn’t exist.” I told myself.
I took off my clothes and took a bath under a warm shower.
It’s good to relax my tense body after being with her in the same room.
It was so hard to control my feeling being around with her.
That kiss I had with her last night was still fresh in my mind.
My body is heating up and it is perfect in a warm shower.
After I finished my shower. I went out from the bathroom and slowly walked to my closet and took a pair of business suit.
I put it on and the black suits perfectly suited on my body and taste.
I combed my hair and brushes my clothes with my hands with a satisfied look in the mirror.
I walked out in my room and went downstairs to the dining room.
I smelled the delicious food which personally prepared by aunt Dime.
Even we have helpers she always make sure she often cook food for me.
That’s why she’s like a mother to me. She knew exactly what I want and hated.
She’s the only person who is not afraid to tell me if I did something wrong.
