” So what do you think shall we celebrate tonight?” Jerome said and jump on the couch. “Did he signed the contract?” He added.
Chloe walked towards the opposite couch and grinned.
“Of course we will. Finally he fell to my trap. Imagine that so easy? Ha ha.” She laughs in victorious. But she didn’t tell Jerome how Denyx mentioned Anna.
She doesn’t want him to be worried about her. Besides Mr. Moore doesn’t know who really she is.
Jerome doesn’t know the whole story of her identify before but she decided to tell him after they graduated in college so she can ask him for help about her plan.
And she was right. Jerome chose to help her despite of the risked.
” Won’t you check your room? Go check it and have a shower.” Jerome scolded her pointing to the direction of her room.
” By the way I’m staying to the Lawrence B building which is opposite here.
It’s more easier for us to freely see each other with important thing.”
Jerome informing her while she’s walking towards her bedroom. She turned her head a little back to see him.
“That would be great then. I can run into your appointment whenever I need your help.”
She chuckled. Jerome shook his head and smiled.
He remembered how reluctant she was before to talk and play with him when they were young.
But after they started to share their happiness on out doors activities soon they become best friends. He treated her as her younger sister because they both don’t have any siblings.
He is 3 years old older than her.
He remembered when there were girls chasing him she always blocked them because she doesn’t want to share her brother’s time and attention.
When they reached Senior high they become matured too. When he fell in love with Liza she was very supportive too.
She’s the one who bought and chose gifts for Liza. Jerome was scared for her safety when he mentioned her plans and revealed her identity.
He doesn’t agree with her decisions but he knows he couldn’t persuade her. Instead he supported her plan for her safety. Her family was been very kind to him. He is just returning the favor he enjoyed and because he cared so much for Chloe as her best friend.
“Don’t take so long we will having dinner in the restaurant.” Chloe opened the door and pushed it. She went inside and popped her head on the door to look at Jerome.
” Sure! Don’t worry I won’t take long. Please call your baby because I haven’t call her yet. Tell her that she can come over soon to see us.” She said in a teasing look.
She turned around and went to her closet. Sure enough her best friend knows her very well. She chose to wear fitted jeans and light blue v-neck blouse with flower printed on it. Then blue high heels sandal. She put her clothes on the bed and went inside the bathroom for a shower.
She took off her clothes and looked at her self in the mirror. Her young face turned into a woman. She does look like her mother. She touched her face with her two palms and softly caresses it. “Mom look at me isn’t it I look like you? Your baby girl is now a grown up woman.” Her tears flows on her chicks.
“I really missed you mom. I will see you later.”
She wiped her tears on her face walk to the bathtub and lay in it. While the warm water relaxing her skin.

Denyx pressed the intercom button.
“Alex I want you to find out where Chloe Mack live.” Before Alex can answer he hand up the phone.
“Damn Denyx she’s not Anna and its been 2 decades that she’s dead.” Talking to himself.
For the past 22 years, every Saturday Denyx will bring Anna a bouquet of flowers. He personally change it and bring her 1 lollipop and place it next to the flowers. He will even sneak out of the house just to bring her flowers and lollipop every week. Until now, It doesn’t change at all. He couldn’t stop coming to her because he felt like he is relieved everytime he comes there and talk to her. It’s become his habit. Even he doesn’t understand why he keep doing it he continues to do so. After 3 months of Mr. Mc Len family’s death he never seen him again. No one could tell where he is because he disappeared. Others said he might died while others said he might get married again and have another family.
No one really know where he is. No one knew about Mr. Mc. Len because he changed his surname as well as he did to Chloe. They became Johnson. Denyx took a deep breath and look at the time it’s 3:30 pm. His office fell into silent. He pulled the drawer in front of him that attached to the table. He pick up the photo slowly took a looked at it.
“Anna if you were just here. May be we are be happy together.” I never stop loving you. I can’t still let go of you. You know that? ” He chuckled while touching the picture of her fingers softly. He took this picture of Anna when she was holding a lollipop and there was a smile on her face.
He remembered that it was forbidden to bring any cellphone at school but he secretly brought his phone in his pocket so he can take a picture of her. After he handed her a lollipop that day he left her with a smile on her face but she doesn’t know that in a distance he took out his phone and took a picture of her. After that day he kept this picture in his phone and printed it out.
Who would expect that after that day the tragic accident had happened to her and Mrs. Mc Len. He even locked up himself for a day in his room and cried.
“Anna the day you died, you also brought my heart with you. But today I can say it’s been alive again because I saw you in her soul. I really saw you.” His eyes was watery. He never been emotional but today after meeting Chloe his heart seems to beat again.
There’s a knock on the door and he came back to his senses. He put the picture inside the drawer and closed it.
“Come in.” Alex opened the door.
“Sir your booking to the Arc restaurant is confirmed. Would you like to request anything else?” Denyx looked at Alex with his cold temperance. He was not interested of what he is saying but his mind is occupied with Chloe’s face.
” Alex I want you to investigate Chloe’s daily routine. But no one will ever touch her. You can go now and wait for me in your office. Close the door when you leave.”
Alex didn’t dare to ask him. He has a very bad temper but he has a generous heart. He couldn’t believe what he heard but he has no position to ask his boss.
” How come he wanted to know Ms. Mack’s daily routine? What happened to my young master? Why he has a sudden change after he met her?” These questions remained in his head only. He sighed deeply and went back to his office and sort out some of the documents.

After She took a bath she put on her robe and dry her hair with a hair dryer. When she finished drying her hair she took of her robe and put on her clothes the she selected. She put on her under clothes and put on her pants and light blue blouse.
She let her hair untie which makes her more beautiful. She smiled in the mirror and she’s satisfied of what she saw.
Her curve with her pants and blouse made her body extra sexy. She wore her high heels shoes and walked out of the room.
Sat opposite to him while Jerome was on the phone sitting leisurely.
“Baby please be here soon once you’re done dealing some of your work. I really missed you and you know what somebody misses you more than I do.”
Smiling looking at Chloe. She rolled her eyes to him and raised her both hands on the air admitting what he said.
She stood up and walked next to him and snapped the phone on his hand.
And pushed him a bit to moved.
“Yeah, baby as if I’m the mastermind of begging you coming over Ha ha ha.”
she laughed. Liza sighed a bit sad on the other line.
” I’m sorry dear I know you two misses me but I can’t really go right now because I have some important work to do.
You know how important you both to me but this one can’t be compromise. I hope you guys understand it.” She sat next to Jerome and pushed him by her shoulder a little .
” So I guessed we will see you in few weeks Liz. But I’m not sure with this man next to me if he can take a week without flying back to Boston to see you.”
He looked at him with grinned on her face.
She knows that the relationship of Liza and Jerome could be tough.
Soon because of her plan but she’s hoping that they can overcome it.
She’s a little guilty of separating them because of her idea.
” Please take care of our man dear. Don’t let anyone get closer to Jerome.” Liza trying to be sounds serious of her joke.
” Sure Liz your man is always safe on my arms.” The two of them giggled.
“Hey that’s unfair you of. Give me the phone back to me.”
He snatched back the phone from Chloe’s hand.
“Don’t worry baby I’m all yours. I promised.” He . He laughed.
“Anyway I’ll see you soon. Once the things settles here with Chloe I’m coming back to Boston.
I have something to deal to finish in Johnson company there.”
He looked at Chloe with serious face.
” Okay, I’ll see you then. You two take care. I missed you both bye!”
When the call ended Chloe and Jerome sighed.
” I’m leaving first buddy, I promised to see my mom today after two decades being away I missed her so much.”
She explained.
” Sure, let Mr. Grey drive for you. I need to bath and change too.
I’ll see you later pick up me once you’re done with your mom. “
