“What are you doing here?” I asked in a hard tone.
” I am here for you. You passed out at the back of the.. uhh… well… the Auditorium,” He finally finished with hesitation.
“Why do you even care? where is Dany?” I said as I shifted a little to get a look at the door, searching for any sign that Dany was here but found none.
“He is outside with your mom and Lavy.” he said. I sighed.
“God soaf, you scared the shit out of me.” he said while embracing me with a tight hug.
I pushed him away.
“Get off me. I don’t want to talk to you. I want Dany.” I yelled.
I felt his body stiffened as I mentioned Dany’s name. He finally pulled away and looked down toward me.
“soaf… you need to hear me out.” he pleaded.
“No” I replied swiftly without even giving it a thought.
“Wha- Please princess…. hear me ou-”
“No Raymond. No. I get it. You are better of with her-”
“What??”
“-I get it” I replied while my voice was shaking.
“What the hell are you talking about soaf?”
“You and…… an-and.. Ellen” I replied. It took all my will power to say this. Thinking about Raymond with some other girl wanted me to puke my guts out.
It was gross and it hurts.
“No. There is no me and Ellen. You get-” I cut him off by saying
“Don’t lie Raym-”
“NO. Listen. There is no me and Ellen. Okay? It was always me and you and it will be always like that. Do you get it?” Raymond yelled.
Suddenly the ward door burst open and Daniel came barging into the room.
“That’s enough for you Fucker. Leave her alone.” Dany said to Raymond with an annoyed expression.
” Shut up. I am not talking to you. I need to talk to her. Alone.” Raymond said in a threatening voice.
I gasped.
Raymond stood there glaring at Daniel from the right side of the bed while Daniel stood on the left glaring him back with the same intensity.
I placed my hand on Daniel’s abs and pushed tried to stop him from fighting.
Both the boys were craving so much for a fight that If I would have given one more second to them, they would have probably ripped each other’s head apart.
I looked up at the right. Towards Raymond.
” I need some time alone, Raymond.” I said while gazing him all the time while trying to mask my hurt expression.
” But so-”
“Please. Go.” I cut him before he could speak any further.
“No. I’m here to Stay Sophie Esinberg. There is nothing you can do to make me go away now,” Raymond said sonorously.
I sighed.
” I just need a few minutes, Raymond,” my throat voice came out.
Raymond finally glared at Daniel one last time and marched out of the room while shutting the door with a loud noise.

Three days later
I heard his voice again. For the nth time now.
He keeps one coming here, even though Daniel, mom and Lavy never allows him to enter my ward to look at me. But every day I hear his voice coming from outside my room where he asks about my health status from the doctor, where he would fight with Daniel for seeing me, where he would apologize from my mother for doing this to me.
Well, you ask me why am I in the Hospital still?
When I passed out three days ago, I was brought to this hospital by Daniel and Raymond. At least that’s what I’ve been told. Doctor said that due to overload of work I didn’t take my meals properly and my body was feeble. He gave me glucose and advised me to stay in the hospital for around Four Days until my body is healthy enough to bare fatigue.
Suddenly the noises from outside stopped and the door opened. My head snapped towards the entrance of the room. He was standing there looking handsome as ever.
Stop drooling Idiot.
Get a grip.
” Raymond I-”
“No. No. No. I waited for three days. I cannot wait anymore now.” he sighed and placed himself next to. I felt my bed shifting a little.
He took my hands in his and looked into the eyes.
” Listen, Soaf. Whatever you saw was wrong. Me and Ellen are noting, just friends. If you don’t believe me then you can ask her as well.”
” But she was your date, wasn’t she?” I asked with a frown on my face.
“Look. You know Amanda Corporations is my dad’s company. Ellen’s dad has funded our company for some new project and their fund was about Ninety million dollars and because he was present at the company’s event I was compelled to take Ellen as my date there. When we got back from the football camp my dad messaged me that I have to take Ellen with me as my date to this Functions. So I did-”
“I am so sorry soaf, I didn’t want you to get hurt so I didn’t tell you anything about The Ceremony. I would never hurt you on purpose soaf. I thought it would be quietly over. But I didn’t know that you were working for my dad.” Raymond said. For a while I was quiet, trying to consume all his words one by one.
“I am sorry princess.” He said for the last time before placing his forehead on mine and closing his eyes.
“I am sorry” he whispered again.
