“Okay, I’ll go back soon!” Calvin said softly, but he deliberately lowered his voice as if he was avoiding someone.
But just as I was about to hang up, I heard a woman’s voice on the phone, “Calvin, who are you talking to? Where are my clothes? Where did you hide my clothes? Do you want me to be naked? Are you here?”
Suddenly I felt like I was standing in the snow. From head to toe it was so chilly I felt like I was falling into an ice cave.
Sure enough, Calvin was having an affair!
I can’t think anymore, all I can feel is a headache! I heard Calvin talking to me in a worried tone, but I couldn’t hear it clearly. I didn’t even know when I hung up the phone.

Calvin’s POV

Calvin smiled bitterly, yes it was his fault.
Alexia’s POV
After driving out of the mansion, that early summer morning, I suddenly felt at a loss, I didn’t know where to go.
After leaving the villa grounds, I parked the car on the side of the road and lay down on the steering wheel in a daze. Suddenly the telephone rang, and I unconsciously picked up the receiver, but after making the connection I was a little disappointed to hear an old voice there.
Philip Brown calling!

“Alexia, are you listening?” Philip Brown hastily raised his voice when there was no voice on the phone.

Philip Brown got angry when he heard that, “Alexia, what are you talking about? I’ve been meeting more people lately, and the company is about to make money. You can’t hold me back now!”
I was very bored and my tone was very aggressive, “Dad, I’m not going to borrow money from him! I don’t want to be looked down upon!”
Philip Brown heard that I was in a bad mood, and now he didn’t dare to insult me, because I was his last support, so Philip Brown he quickly softened his tone and talked to ME softly, “Alexia, help papa.” Papa wants to do business now, can you help Papa?”
I shook my head, “Dad, I can’t ask him to borrow money!”

Calvin lied,”She’s very busy at the moment, I didn’t tell her.”
Carrie Smith stopped asking but was visibly disappointed, “I thought I could see my sister.”
Calvin couldn’t mention me, he felt irritated. Even though he said he didn’t care, he couldn’t stop thinking about me in his heart and wanted to know what I was doing now.
“Brother, don’t worry about it. Grandpa is fine, but his blood pressure is high. He was only admitted to the hospital to trick grandma.” Carrie Smith saw Calvin frown. She thought he was worried about Grandpa’s body, so she quickly comforted him.
“Well, I know.” Calvin had just gotten off the phone with the doctor on the way to the hospital and already knew about his grandpa’s situation.
“Go on in.” Carrie turned and entered the ward.
“Grandma!” called Calvin.
Grandma Gloria glanced after Calvin. “Where’s Alexia? Didn’t she come with you?”
Calvin lied again, “She’s very busy at the moment, I didn’t tell her.”
Grandma Gloria was disappointed, “I guess you purposely didn’t bring her to see your grandpa.”
“Why? ” Grandpa glared at Calvin, “I haven’t seen her yet!”
“That’s about to change.” Calvin smiled and pocketed the quilt for Grandpa.
Gloria digs out a snack from the insulated box. In fact, she has a secret she’s been hiding for many years, and she can’t keep it like that, at least she has to let Calvin know.
