“If I am not mistaken, this woman must be a spy.” Warren continued to accuse Abby Williams.
“I, I didn’t do it!”, Abby Williams hastily defended herself. She had come to Calvin today for a different reason, but she didn’t want to steal anything. What she wanted wasn’t a company secret. Compared to those things, all she wanted was Calvin.
“I wasn’t stealing anything, I really wasn’t, Mr. Smith, believe me, I’m just a passing curiosity, not evil.” Abby Williams looked at Calvin with pity.
Calvin didn’t look at Abby Williams. He hated crying women, with the exception of me.
“If you didn’t steal something, it doesn’t mean you won’t steal it. If everyone is like you, our company’s rules and regulations are just an excuse,” Warren said aggressively.
The other managers were still watching the video. Abby Williams closed her eyes and only felt that this time she had to be fired from Sky Group. She finally got closer to Calvin, but before she could do anything, she was fired.
Just when everyone was sure that Abby Williams would be fired this time, Calvin suddenly reached out and took the ipad directly.
“No need to look!” Calvin’s voice was cold and devoid of emotion.
“Mr. Smith?” Everyone, including Warren, looked at him strangely, wondering why he suddenly decided not to pursue the matter.
Everyone thought Calvin must be disgusted with women like Abby Williams, but he decided not to pursue it.
Strange!
“Get out!” Calvin looked around, his gaze cold, but when his eyes fell on Abby Williams he paused for a few seconds. “Say, what do you want to do?”
Abby Williams hadn’t expected Calvin to help her at all. She was first stunned, then ecstatic. Carefully, she picked up the documents that had fallen to the floor and handed them to Calvin, “Mr. Smith, please sign.”
When the others saw that Calvin had decided not to pursue the matter, they left, only Warren walked out angrily.
Calvin read the file and took out a few copies, “There’s trouble with these copies, bring them back.”
Abby Williams didn’t dare look directly at Calvin, she kept staring at his hand and sighed in her heart, how this man has such good looking hands, but suddenly she realized Calvin wasn’t talking, she was shocked and took the file. and replied, “Okay, Mr. Smith!”
“Get out,” Calvin said softly.
Abby Williams was flattered and quickly raised her eyes to Calvin. When she saw Calvin really looking at her, her heart leapt wildly and she nodded shyly, “Yes, Mr. Smith.”
As she walked to the door, she turned her head again and sheepishly said to Calvin, “Mr. Smith, thank you for believing me today, I really didn’t mean it.”
Calvin said nothing, and Abby Williams got no response. Although she was a little disappointed, she walked out with glee.
As soon Abby Williams as I left, I pushed open the door to the lounge, stepped closer to Calvin, pulled the chair towards him, sat down, and asked with a smile, “Do you find my sister very attractive?”
Calvin shrugged his shoulders. “Really!”
“Then you like her?” I continued to smile, but I wanted to slap him.
“If I say I like her, will you help me?” Calvin laughed as well.
“I’ll kill you!” I raised my eyebrows, grinned, and made a threatening gesture. I know Calvin doesn’t like that kind of person, and I’m very self conscious in front of Abby.
“Just kidding!” Calvin was very pleased, I was so possessive of him.
I curled my lips, “Okay, okay, I have to tell you something.”
“You say it.” Calvin stroked my cheek.
I took Calvin’s hand and sighed, “I have nothing to do, I feel so boring.”
Calvin looked at me, “You’re really not thinking about coming back?”
I shook my head, “There will definitely be rumors and that will be bad for you.”
Calvin winked and grinned. “I don’t care about that.”
I looked at him, “The main thing is that I want to do what I like.”
“Like what?” Calvin nodded in agreement, “You want to translate?”
“That was a dream from my school days, but now I don’t like it,” I said, putting my arm around Calvin’s neck. “I want to be a drawing teacher. From grade school to college, I’ve stuck to that hobby.”
“Well, go for it if you want.” Calvin released his hand and squeezed my face.
“You’re okay with this?”
Calvin nodded, “I don’t want to see you unhappy at home every day as long as I can see you when I get home at night.”
“Ah, Calvin, I love you so much!” I didn’t expect Calvin to agree, he was so pleasantly surprised!
Although I can go to work without Calvin’s approval, I don’t want to fight about it. After all, Calvin is really good for me.
“But it’s fine to go to work. You can’t act in private. I didn’t find out what happened yesterday. I don’t know if it Kevin Smith was. I’ll have Bonder protect you. You have to accept that.” said Calvin seriously.
“Okay. Maybe I can teach online too.” I really can’t be too opinionated or Calvin will worry if something happens. Maybe I can consider teaching online, and home is safe.
When I went home at night, to thank Calvin, I made a lot of things he particularly likes, but it seems he likes eating me even better!
The next day was another day of back pain. Suddenly I remembered that Andy hadn’t checked in for what seemed like a long time, and the phone was out of service. I was a little worried. I drove Bonder back to the place where I used to live. Now Andy lives here to save money.
I went up the stairs and knocked on the door first. No one answered, so I took out the key to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, I noticed that the dust was flying in the room, and it seemed that no one had been here for at least half a month.
Did Andy move away? But I didn’t hear Andy talking about it, and Andy’s belongings are still here, so where did Andy go this time?
I called her again. I’m a little worried about her, and I have a bad feeling.
The phone rang for a long time and no one answered. I called many times and finally answered.
“Hey, Alexia, I’ll call you in a minute!” Andy’s voice was very cheerful, no different than usual.
“Where are you? Why are you calling now?” I asked, confused.
“I’m at home, I was just cooking and eating in the kitchen, I didn’t hear it.” Andy smiled and said, sounding very leisurely, there was nothing unusual.
“Are you home?” I looked around and she was lying down. “I’m here now, are you going to be invisible?”
There was a pause on the phone, and then Andy laughed, “Alexia, you really are kidding. I said I’m home, but I didn’t mean it had to be at my house. I’m at my boyfriend’s house!”
“Your boyfriend? What boyfriend?” I put my bag down, not understanding how dirty it was, took out a rag and started wiping the table.
“My boyfriend.” Andy answered quickly.
“When did you have a boyfriend? Why didn’t I hear you talk about that?” I was surprised.
“A few days ago it was my classmate.” said Andy cheerfully.
“Your classmate who works in entertainment?” I always think something is wrong, but listening to Andy’s tone, she doesn’t seem to be in trouble, maybe I’m really thinking too much.
“Well yeah Alexia, are you looking for something to do with me?” Andy asked me after changing the subject.
“I’m bored, I’m looking for you to play with, but you’re not here!” I said angrily.
“Okay, when I get back, ah, someone’s looking for me, I’ll hang up!” Andy ended the call and hung up without giving me a chance. This girl must have a problem.
Suddenly Bonder got a call, he signaled me and went down the stairs.
Downstairs Calvin was already waiting for him in the car.
“You watch her these days. I have a lot to do and I can’t take care of her.” Calvin was genuinely concerned.
Bonder was silent for a moment and then said, “Mr. Smith, have you ever thought about the fact that you care so much about Miss that it might not be a good thing.”
This time Calvin did not scold Bonder, but opened his eyes slightly and instructed Bonder to continue.
Bonder continued, “Miss is like my family, I hope she can be safe…”
Before Bonder could finish speaking, Calvin rudely interrupted him, “You mean it’s dangerous for her to follow me?”
“Mr. Smith, I didn’t mean it that way!” Bonder bowed his head and quickly excused himself, but he still wanted to finish speaking. “Mr. Smith, I have always been loyal to you. I think Mr. Smith should understand what I’m trying to say . .”
Calvin’s face was grim.
He knows what Bonder is trying to express, of course, and the more he cares about her now, the more dangerous she is, becoming his greatest weakness.
“Mr. Smith, you can’t keep the lady forever, you should solve the problem as soon as possible.” Bonder secretly sighed in his heart.
Calvin remained silent. Only when he became stronger and became the true heir of the Smith family could he protect the woman he loved.
After carefully cleaning up the house, it was already 7 o’clock in the evening. I called Calvin. He didn’t answer. I called Warren. Warren said there was a reception tonight and Calvin would be back later, which I was relieved about.
