EPISODE SIXTY SEVEN
TYLER POV
After dropping Enea’s Dad off, I branched at the restaurant and get some food for the girls and other guards who has been on stand since.
We don’t know other mafia men move, They can decide to take it out on Enea.
Getting to the hospital, I couldn’t find Alessia anymore, Guess she’s with Liliana.
I guess they made up already.
I passed the food to the boys and they bowed before walking out but Gray didn’t.
“Go eat, I will watch over him”I mumbled not looking at him and he bowed.
“I’m sorry”He finally said and I punched him immediately.
“You fucking scunt!, You knew about everything but you decided not to tell us right?”
“It will make the boys behave rashly”
“And here he is now, Laying lifeless on the bed, Did you think you made the right decision?”
“I’m sorry, I promise to make up for my mistakes”
“Mistakes?, They can’t be amend anymore”
“I know, I will ask for forgiveness once the boss wakes up”He apologized over and over again and I stared at him.
Gray is slow witted, Hardly talks and prefer putting in actions into everything he’s doing rather than talking.
His rash decision put us all into trouble, I knew he found out something secretive after investigating Nancy but he decided not to talk about it.
“Get out, I don’t want to see you here anymore”
“I don’t have anywhere to go”He mumbled and I scoffed.
Of course, he has no where to go, After Enea rescued him from his abusive father at the age of fifteen, He started living with us and he’d one of the most hardworking men we have, He refused to collect any payment or properties, He believed that what Enea has done to him is enough, He feels so much indebted to him.
“I know, And I’m not planning to chase you away, We can’t lose you, Go with the boys and look for something to eat, You had a long day already”
“Thanks boss”He beamed and walked out of my sight.
I joined Alessia few minutes later and met her on her feet, Staring at Enea, Not being able to touch him.
“You want to touch him?” I asked and she jerked back in fear but relaxed herself immediately.
“Yes, Shamelessly”She answered with a sad smile and I walked closer to her.
I wrapped my hand around her shoulder and she turned to hug me immediately.
“I’m scared, What if he doesn’t make it”She sobbed and I rubbed her back carefully.
“Hey, you will be fine, Enea will be fine too, Just be good to him, okay?”
“I’m sorry too, About your parents”
“It’s fine, you’re not at fault, Your father is the overly clean man who got himself involved in mafia affairs”
“Still, I…”
“I got you guys some food, Go to the next room and eat”I pecked her hair and she moved away from me, She collected the food and leave the room.
THREE DAYS LATER…
Enea woke up looking weak as ever, He couldn’t stand up still, Although he could not breathe on his own, The artificial oxygen was removed and he slept for another five hours before waking up again.
Alessia was with him throughout the period. She kept applying cold towel rinsed in water on his forehead.
ALESSIA POV
He keeps passing out, The doctor said the pain was probably too much for him, Tears keep falling down my eyes as I clean his face with the towel.
“Please, be fine”I sobbed softly as I don’t want to wake him up, I’ve lost so much weight within the three days, Even though, the doctor keep saying it’s not good for my baby’s health, I just can’t help it, He almost died because of me.
I keep applying the comd towel on his face and suddenly, I felt a hand moving on the bed, I stood up immediately and dropped the towel, He’s awake again.
He shut his eyes tight and grabbed the bed sheet tightly, I hugged him carefully and after a while, He calmed down.
I stayed in that position for a while until I heard him talk.
“Who are you?”the words can’t out in a whisper, I moved away immediately and rushed to call the doctor.
He entered with Tyler and checked him immediately.
“Good job, The old method helped”He smiled referring to me and I nodded.
“Will he remember some people?”
“Yes, of course, But his condition is kind of spectacular and rare, He only had a partial memory loss, But in most cases, They end up getting tormented by the people they hate or love most, I hope we help him with the therapy just like Liliana”He smiled before walking out of the room .
“Tyler”He whispered closing his eyes and Tyler flinched.
“You can remember me?”He asked in shock and he nodded.
“Hell, I’ve missed you”He hugged him tightly and I walked closer to them slowly.
He pulled away after a while and Tyler turned to him.
“Do you remember her?”He asked and he shook his head.
My heart broke immediately and I tried holding my tears.
“Who’s she?”
“She…”
“Please, Don’t, he might end up passing out, I will leave you guys to talk”I mumbled before walking out of the room, dejectedly.
I met Liliana on the way and she walked out with me without getting to Enea.
“He’s awake” I mumbled and he nodded.
“I know”
“Go see him”I turned to her with a sad smile and she sighed.
“Don’t be too hard on yourself, I didn’t remember Tyler when I had a memory loss too even though he’s the person I loved most”
“Don’t you feel angry at him when you remembered who he is?”
“No, I didn’t, I just feel guilty for making him pass through such truama of losing our first baby”
“He doesn’t remember me, I hope he doesn’t get tormented”
“He won’t, Just give it time, you guys will surely be back together, For good”She assured me before walking to the room, leaving me at the corridor with the assurance of coming back soon.
LILIANA POV
I walked into the ward with the bags and met them talking, Enea was taking his words slowly, Tyler looks so happy and thrilled.
“Enea”I screamed and hugged him tightly, He pushed me back after a while, looking uncomfortable.
What?.. Don’t tell me.
“Who’s she?, And why’s she dressed like that?”He asked staring at my weird dressing and I stared at him in shock.
