Chapter 486 You Will Be Protected

“I know what to do. Are you still coming to the Cabinet meeting then?” Sean Yaleman asked.
“Yes.”
“Okay, I’ll make the necessary arrangements then,” Sean then hung up.
Stella Grace put her phone down on the table. Sean had always been a very capable and daring person. This matter could be solved as long as he was willing to help. He was the President after all.
Moreover, she would be able to discern who among the important personnel were willing to side with them. That way, she would also be able to make her plans accordingly.
She stood up, put on a thick jacket, then headed out with her phone. There would still be enough time if she were to rush over to Suntec International Inc now.
Suzi Shine was home when she headed out.
“Mom, would it be alright if I bring Milton Corp’s lawyer for an errand? Tell him to head over to the Skyange Cafe in Suntec International Inc within two hours,” Stella said.
“Okay, I’ll call him and tell him to head over there now. I’ll give him your number so that it’s convenient for him to contact you,” Suzi stated.
“Okay,” Stella then walked out of the door.
Lynette Lanes followed behind her worriedly and offered, “Madam, I’ll drive.”
She knew that Lynette was protecting her, so she didn’t refuse.
After a while, Lynette drove a car over.
Stella got in the car and looked out of the window.
Lynette looked at Stella, who seemed to be getting better. She smiled and mentioned, “I think that the Chief is protecting you. I have been with the Chief for six years. I know that you are his one and only, his most beloved.”
“I had always been under Jasper’s protection. That’s why I am still alive,” Stella didn’t say the latter half of the sentence.
The fewer people knew that Jasper was alive, the safer he would be.
“Madam, you must stay alive and live well. I am sure that the Chief wishes that too,” Lynette whispered.
Stella did not say anything anymore. She leaned against the chair and shut her eyes to rest.
When they reached Skyange Cafe, the lawyer of Milton Corp had already arrived and waiting for Stella at the door.
“Hello, you are Miss Wheeler, right? I am the lawyer of Milton Corp, Attorney Wood. You may refer to me as Mr. Wood,” Attorney Wood stretched his hand out.
Stella shook Attorney Wood’s hand and greeted him politely, “I’m sorry to trouble you, Attorney Wood.”
She dialed the number of Student’s Giggles’ boss.
The boss of Student’s Giggles answered, “We are in room 203.”
“Okay, we are on our way,” Stella made her way upstairs and entered the room.
The two men inside were dressed in suits and they both looked very young.
“Hello, I am Richard Zachary, the boss of Student’s Giggles. This is my lawyer, Evan Cher. I am very curious. How did you get my number?” Richard asked with a smile.
“My friend joined a chat group using my Facebook account a long time ago. At that time, Student’s Giggles had just started. Your phone number was written on your Facebook account. That was how I had gotten your phone number,” Stella explained.
She still remembered that she and Eli Wayne had not known each other for long at that time. However, Eli was very enthusiastic and she took the initiative to be friends with her.
Stella was still an intern back then. Another intern started spreading rumors about her, saying that she had someone supporting her behind her back. That intern also spouted all kinds of nonsense.
Eli then found Student’s Giggles and hired twenty internet marketers. Their work was worth 5 dollars a day, and each of them would send ten hate messages to that intern.
Even though Eli was rather loud, she had always been a righteous person and she would call upon herself to protect the weak.
Thinking of the happy days that she once had with Eli, Stella felt warm in her heart.
She didn’t know if Eli was doing well in D Country.
“Oh, that was a long time ago,” Richard recalled. After shaking hands with Stella, he sat down and looked at his lawyer.
The lawyer then showed the document to Stella, “This is the Student’s Giggles’ current data. We have 120, 000 real accounts and we have developed several major services. Our long-term cooperation includes a live broadcast platform, network literature, multimedia, and celebrities with some agents companies.”
“I’d like to get some clarification. Let’s say if I want to turn this comment into a trending topic, or create a new headline, how do you do that?” Stella did not understand how the application worked.
“The company’s commerce department will explain the application’s services to you specifically.
As a brief introduction, we have a station that distributes tasks to every registered account. The users will then comment according to the assigned requirements. Each comment earns one point, two comments equal to two points, and so on. Comments are not allowed to be posted simultaneously, so the user could only post each comment every minute or so.
The monthly salary would be paid to their bank accounts according to their points.
Generally speaking, one point is a penny. Most of them are students. If they do well, they could earn hundreds of dollars a month to pay off their living expenses. Earning ten dollars a day is extremely easy for them,” Richard commented.
Stella nodded. She understood the basics of it. After looking through the data, she found that the profit was quite good with some room for development.
The selling price was 30 million dollars.
Stella closed the folder, “Okay, show me your relevant certificates. I’ll sign after I have verified them.”
“Okay,” Richard replied.
The two lawyers checked the information and data.
Stella drank water quietly.
“It’s a pity that General Milton had passed away at such a young age. My sister used to see him as her idol,” Richard confessed while pouting.
Stella lowered her gaze and asked, “How old is your sister?”
“She’s 20 years old this year. She’s still young. I’m trying to save as much money so that she could study abroad.”
“That’s good. Well, you may continue settling the papers. I’ll head out for a while and I will be back in half an hour or so. Is that okay?” Stella wondered.
“Of course. Please do as you please.”
Stella left the room and Lynette followed her right away.
Stella then got ready to enter the car.
Lynette only allowed Stella to get into the car once she checked the car to confirm that there was no problem with it.
Stella did not leave. Instead, she made a call.
“Hey, Micheal, it’s Stella. I am so sorry that I didn’t show up when you were here the last time. Many things had happened. Are you free to talk now?” Stella asked.
“Stella? I’ve heard a lot of rumors about you. What’s going on? I have called you a few times but you did not pick up any of my calls. Then, your number couldn’t be reached anymore,” Micheal Zavier was a little annoyed.
“When you called me last time, I was kidnapped by Bryan Fellow, a policeman from Yale City. The reason was very complicated. You could look it up on Google. You should be able to find it on the Internet.
I was thrown into the sea, but luckily, I was saved by my husband. We were stranded on a deserted island. I was rescued not long after but I got into an accident after that. I jumped into the sea and fell into a coma after that,” Stella simply concluded.
“I heard of all that. Jasper and Frederick were fighting over you, weren’t they? Then, you were abducted and there was no news about you. Jasper came to me and told me all about it,” Micheal shared.
“Well, I was rescued. I had multiple surgeries and I ended up changing my bone marrow too. You don’t have to worry about me not being Stella, because I am the only one who knows your secret, including your sister’s,” Stella chuckled lightly.
“Now that you had been rescued, why didn’t you contact me earlier?”
“I need your help.”
