Stella Grace pushed Jasper Milton away. “Who wants to flirt with you?”
“I’ll go first then,” Jasper said.
Stella’s heart was pounding as she looked at him.
He looked so serious and as cool as ever.
She thought that she must have heard him wrong and wanted to escape from his arms.
He lowered his head and kissed her lips. He didn’t give her any room to refuse. He was strong and fierce.
His hot breath washed over her ears.
She couldn’t think straight at all. She wanted to push him away, but she couldn’t. His kiss made her even more breathless. She tried to lean back but he held her head.
Stella struggled to catch her breath.
Jasper held her hand and pressed it against his lower abdomen. She could feel his erection under his pants. She tried to pull away but he kept her hand there.
She was angry and pinched it hard.
Jasper groaned and let go of her lips. He looked at her and said, “You put too much force.”
Stella’s heart missed a beat. She retrieved her hand, rubbed it on her clothes, and said, “I couldn’t breathe properly.”
“How stupid must you be to not know how to breathe during a kiss?” Jasper dotingly reprimanded.
She walked towards the table.
Jasper didn’t want to let her go just yet, so he grabbed her arm.
Stella said, “I haven’t found the problem in the video yet and we are going to the police station at two o’clock.”
“At 6:10, two people were talking to each other. If you read their lips, they were talking about watching the premiere of The Mermaid together. It was a movie shown last year.” Jasper explained.
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Stella rushed to her laptop and watched the segment he described. “Are you sure they are talking about the movie? I can’t hear them.”
“Look at their lips. I’m sure of it,” Jasper said with certainty.
Stella was alarmed. “So, the alibi they provided was fake. They are the murderers. I want to question the witnesses.”
Jasper sat next to her and looked at her with a deep gaze. “I think you should spend your time on me now instead of on the case. What do you think?”
Stella stood up feeling very embarrassed. “You’ve already done that yesterday.”
“You were a doctor before this. You should know that men only need a ten minutes break, and they can keep going after that,” Jasper teased her.
“But you don’t necessarily need to do that, do you?” Stella whispered.
“But I want it,” he said insistently.
Stella refused. “We still have to work in the afternoon.”
“Okay.” Jasper stood up and glanced at her. “It’s okay if you don’t want it now, but men tend to fixate on these things. I might not care much but this might still spill into my work. I just hope that I won’t do anything indecent during work.”
Stella held his arm and said, “You won’t, right?”
Jasper smirked. “What do you think?”
Stella shook his hand off and said, “You’re not flirting, you’re threatening me.”
Jasper wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to his side. He whispered to her, “Stella, I want you.”
Stella pursed her lips and looked at him. “Can I refuse?”
“No,” Jasper said without hesitation. However, he didn’t make a move as if he was waiting for her consent.
Stella glanced at the clock at the lower right corner of her laptop. It was from 1:20 p. m.
She was a 27-year-old grownup. She had passed the age of prioritizing fantasy over love.
She began to understand that men might not do it just out of love.
They might want a conquest, a proof of their abilities, or just have physiological needs.
Jasper had already had sex with her yesterday, so it was unlikely he had physiological needs.
Did he want to conquer her or was he trying to prove something? Or… was it because of love?
She dared not think of the last possibility.
She was afraid that the more she dwelt on it, the deeper she would fall and the less likely she would be able to go back. “Just take it as a mature encounter between a man and a woman,” she told herself.
“Hurry up,” Stella agreed.
Jasper smiled. He started kissed her lips more passionately and pressed her on the bed.
The thin and dense kiss went along her neck, earlobe, collarbone, and then down to…
“Stella, you like it, don’t you?” Jasper asked in a hoarse voice.
“Who wouldn’t like it when you do this?” Stella asked.
“I like it too,” Jasper said with a smile.
Stella’s heart skipped a few beats.
He grabbed her ankles and pressed them against her face.
Stella clearly felt it when he slipped in. She took gentle and shallow breaths as her cheeks burned hot.
His heated gaze was too much to bear, so she turned her face away, embarrassed.
He turned her head to make her face him. “I used to like this too, didn’t I? Eli said that I went to see you very often and she was forced to go out.”
Stella didn’t expect Eli to tell him about that. She could not bring herself to answer him.
He wanted her to answer. He kept thrusting into her, which made her uncomfortable. She frowned and said, “Hurry up.”
“What are you rushing me for? Didn’t you say you didn’t want it?” Jasper was in the mood. He liked seeing her squirm anxiously under him, as though she really needed him.
He felt very uncomfortable when she asked him to let her go.
He didn’t want to be dispensable to her.
“Jasper,” Stella complained. Her voice was delicate and pleasant.
If she could bring herself to answer, she would probably not be Stella Grace anymore.
“Okay, okay.” He couldn’t hold back any longer.
Both of them moaned contentedly.
Jasper kissed her slightly-opened lips, propped himself up with both elbows on the bed, and grabbed her head.
After all, he was a soldier. His strength and speed were amazing.
Stella couldn’t hold back anymore, all her moaning was drowned out by his mouth.
She was turned on too. She wrapped her legs around his waist and reciprocated to his thrusts. She felt light-headed as if she had stepped on clouds, floated in the sky, and finally landed on the ground. She regained her wits and looked at Jasper, who was also looking at her.
She didn’t know how long he had been looking at her. She was very shy and her eyes sparkled. “Why are you looking at me?”
“There are only two of us here. Who else could I look at?” Jasper replied.
“Time to get ready. It’s almost two o’clock. I need to shower,” Stella said, blushing.
Jasper stayed still. “I think I’ll stay with you for the rest of my life. I’m not interested in other women, anyway.”
Stella did not get his point.
Was he trying to hint that he would marry her?
Or was he just trying to confuse her with some sweet words?
“Did it feel good?” Jasper asked her seriously.
Stella really didn’t want to talk about it after it had ended. “Not bad,” she answered curtly.
Jasper frowned. “Stella, you are not romantic at all. Just tell me what you want me to do, okay? You are the only woman I have sex with. So, I don’t really know what women like. If I didn’t do well, I will try to improve for you.”
