After waking up from fainting, Dev looks at the clock on the wall. Immediately, she thought of Jess. A beam of light enters the ventilation opening. It was then that she realized that she had been unconscious for quite a while.
“Mommy!” Her body was still wobbling, but not as badly as yesterday.
She walked into Jess’ room and saw that the woman was frozen on the side of the bed. Dev doesn’t know what Jess was thinking, the woman’s eyes looked blank. Dev gently touched her mother’s shoulder and with a gentle motion, the skinny woman turned her head.
Dev is shocked to find her mother’s eyes all black and her lips are chapped. Ten seconds their eyes met, Dev’s ears heard Jess’ voice like a gong.
“Mommy!” Dev is shocked when she regains her sanity.
“Mommy?” Dev catches her breath. Time and time again, she tried to understand what was going on, but she failed because all she could see at that moment was Jess.
“Deva!” Someone called her.
“Uncle Mehmet?”
“What’s wrong with you?”
“Nothing!”
“Okay. Dev, Doctor Michele can’t visit your mother for a while. The hospital is having a lot of trouble right now. I’ll take my time to look after Jessy while you look for Elfara.” Dev nodded.
“I trust you because in my father’s eyes you are a good person.”
“Thank you!” said Mehmet, nodding his head.

Dev looks at herself in the mirror. With a heavy heart, she began to wear the wig clutched in her hand. There was anger every time she looked at herself.
“I hate everything that’s changed in me. I wouldn’t be a woman if it weren’t for Callin.” Dev complains. Her jaw tightened instantly as the wig stuck perfectly on his head.
After confirming that she looks like a normal girl, Dev darts into the forest where Nania lives. The cottage house near the waterfall there doesn’t seem to be inhabited. Dev pulls aside the bamboo curtain hanging over the window, but all she sees is silence.
“Where’s that weird girl?”
“Who?” Dev is shocked when suddenly the girl is behind her.
“You! Who else?”
“You, that grumpy girl, aren’t you. What are you doing here? Are you trying to steal?” After saying that, Nania strangled Dev by the neck and pinned her against the wall made of planks.
“Let me go!” asked Dev who felt Nania’s strength was so strong. However, the cute girl didn’t know that the hot-tempered girl she knew as Devada had not lost her male power.
“What should I steal from you? Your house isn’t as nice as my dog kennel.”
“God damn it!” Nania cursed, then her hand went down from Dev’s neck.
“Tell me what you want!” said Nania.
“Why are you so fierce?” Dev protests, but Nania doesn’t respond. The girl looked like she was under pressure. This is reinforced by the presence of bruises and small wounds on several parts of Nania’s body, including the face.
“Nania, hey!” surprise Dev.
“Can you shut up? Why are you so fussy?”
“Okay!” Dev replied.
“Why are you here all of a sudden?” Nania asked with her hands on her hips. However, her eyeballs were pointing everywhere.
“Are you causing trouble again or do you want me to use this as my outlet?” Nania was silent for a moment, then glanced at Dev.
“Are you deaf or dumb?” continued Nania. However, Dev didn’t budge and this made Nania’s face wrinkle even more.
“Hey! Are you a human or a wall?” Dev looks furious, but she keeps her silence.
“Gosh! So disrespectful. You have a mouth, speak!” Nania sighed as she rolled her eyes.
“You told me to be quiet. Did you forget?” After saying that, a pair of footwear floated up to Dev’s face.
“I don’t understand why there is still stupid girl like you. Do you eat raw meat with worms?” Nania talks take off. This makes Dev’s face look sad.
“You must have consumed ….” Nania hung up on her sentence when she noticed Dev’s expression that looked wrinkled.
“I’m sorry. Come in! I bought a lot of snacks in town,” said Nania regretfully.
“Did any of my footwear hurt you?”
“No! I only remember my sister. You are like her,” said Dev. The words just came out of her mouth.
“Your sister? You talk like that, are you guys in trouble?” Silence. Dev’s gaze is filled with emptiness.
“Devada!”
“Hello!”
“Hey!”
“Yes. What were you talking about, just now?”
“Forget it! Come on, come on in!” asked Nania as she stepped into the house.
“So, what are you here for?” Nania asked while arranging various cakes on the table.
“May I stay with you for a while?” asked Dev in a deliberately softened tone.
For a moment, looking thoughtful, Nania asked, “What happened?”
“My house is on fire,” Dev explained.
“Why is that? Then, what about your family?” Dev glanced briefly at Nania’s face, then she sighed. “My house is submerged in water,” she answered later. Suddenly, Nania laughed.
“I’m in trouble and you’re laughing? Hh … heartless.”
“You’re trying to trick me, aren’t you?” The question of the curly-haired girl instantly made Dev nervous.
“I do not lie!” Dev argues.
“No lie how? Devada, since when, water can cause fires?” Dev is getting restless.
“Since my house was on fire. At first there was a power failure, then the gas exploded. After that, the water pipe leaked,” says Dev. This time, Nania no longer laughed. She doesn’t know what Devada was thinking.
“So?” Nania thought for a long time to decide on an answer.
“Fine, but on one condition!” broke up Nania.
“Say it!”
“You have to tell me about why you caused such trouble that time!” Nania pressed while tapping on the wooden chair she was sitting on.
“Should I?”
“Should. It wouldn’t be funny, would it, if I turned out to be harboring a criminal?” Dev chuckled, then mumbled low and incoherent.
“I lost my beloved bird!” The girl who was munching on the chocolate cake suddenly coughed until some chewed splattered onto Dev’s face.
“Sorry!” Nania is busy picking up the cloth, and just as she was about to give it to Dev, her foot tripped over the chair. It made her fall on Dev and the cake with melted Belgian chocolate which was held in her left hand landed on Dev’s face.
“Em … sorry, I really didn’t mean to.” Nania immediately lifted her body. However, her lost balance made her fall again.
“My bad luck! It’s only been a few minutes since she arrived. What will happen if I take her in,” Nania thought while Dev had a straight face behind the melted chocolate.
“What did you say?”
“No! I didn’t say anything.” Nania dodged.
“Is that true?” Dev jokes. A small laugh broke out as she looked away to avoid Nania’s gaze.
“Why? Do you know what’s on my mind?” The girl got up. She held her waist as if she felt pain.
“Of course. Why?” Nani fell silent again.
“So?” Dev’s question again makes Nania confused.
