Esmeralda has gone in and out of consciousness repeatedly. Vimdraolf sat guarding her like the watch dog he was created to be, only taking his eyes off her at the arrival of the major five Timber wolf Alpha’s.
Tension smelled in the air, they’ve not seen eyes to eyes since the great war Vimdraolf fought along side with Amargo again their fathers.
This was not a friendly meeting, but an alliance. Vimdraolf sat on the throne, his gold eyes beshine making him look more beautifully dangerous. Any wrong move could lead to the Alphas death. They needed him but not as much as he needed them.
No one said a word for five minutes straight, every one except Vimdraolf burnt with anger, the feeling of hatred and need for vengeance for the blood of their kind spilled by witches consumed them. But the fact remains that they have a reason for coming, and will bend their ego for their kind. They will not start a war just to satisfy their pride. Their pack safety comes first, that is the difference between them and the Rogue, and not to forget, the power hungry Adam.
Alpha5 spoke up first since no one was willing to do the honor. With confidence and pride, he said in his Alpha tone.
It is no longer news of the alliance between the Terran wolf’s and Rogues.
For the safety of all, We have come with a proposal, an agreement that we form our own alliance. We help you when they attack, and you repay us back in the future when Amargo returned.
Vimdraolf squeeze his fingers, wrapping them tighter on the handle of the throne he sat on, at the sound of her name, it makes his blood boil. He cracks his throat, trying to cover his displeasure.
Okay You May Leave ! ! !
That was all? The Alpha pass surprise glance at themself, disappointed at Vimdraolf choice of word, and attitude towards them, it spelled DISRESPECT boldly. Even if he seats on the throne his master Amargo left him, that doesn’t call for disrespect and it’s in an Alpha nature to seek respect and submission.
A low growl originated from Chester Alpha5 throat before he could stop himself.
Vimdraolf flies out from his throne punching Chester right on the throat. His wolf didn’t take likely the challenges Chester aborted.
Vimdraolf doesn’t hate werewolves and would help if the need arises but that doesn’t mean he has to be friendly with anyone.
Only Vimdraolf could feel it at first, the vibration coming from under the ground, it was as feel someone was digging. He leaves the fight he was about to start mid way and rushes to his room to find it empty.
His wolf sensed it first, a foreign odor filled the room along side with that of his mate. Vimdraolf was right, just behind the opened door stood the two Gnome Banxi and Aripine With the unconscious Esmeralda laying in both their arms.
The question is how did they get this far without Vimdraolf detecting it quickly, it could not have been the Timber wolves plan to distract him?
Banxi and Aripine knew they’ve been cornered, they are left with two options, escape in to the ground, it would be hard for Vimdraolf to catch them, although not impossible, except he is distracted, or kill Esmeralda and be killed. They might be treasure monger but they are not fools.
Banxi and Aripine eyes both snap to each other, and they nod at the same time in understanding.
Vimdraolf free himself from his confused state, and the second he was about to charge, the Gnome cast Esmeralda in his direction, and without any further delay, they both duck into the ground for their protection.
It was like every thing was in slow motion, the height at which they fling her to was almost Vimdraolf height, and the length was at an equal distance between where the Gnome stood before to Vimdraolf.
His gold eyes spark at impulse, he immediately dive catching her one inch to the ground.
Esmeralda open her eyes because of the series of shaking. They met with the gold eyes of Vimdraolf, their face was so close that at the slightest movement, their nose would touch.
She open her eyes wide out of disbelief of their closeness. She couldn’t believe he would want to talk advantage of her after killing her best friend. She pushed Vimdraolf with all her might but the giant did bulge, It was as if his body was physically present but his soul and mind was hypnotized.
Esmeralda noticed his eyes was dull, for some seconds, she also noticed he didn’t blink. He was gazing at her, but also not looking at her, Vimdraolf had zone out, almost like his spirit had left him.
Esmeralda resulted to screaming and series of kicking to set herself free from the deadly suffocating grip of the dangerous Adonis.
