❤️ WHO ARE YOU? (2) ❤️
Vampire Kingdom:
Rather than taking them to the hideout, Aragorn took the armies that are being controlled by Zelina to his kingdom. He knows Zelina and Amaya would come looking for him. This much armies won’t fit Zelina hideout and she will understand why he had brought them to his kingdom instead.
Gesturing for one of the guards guarding the entrance of the gate that leads inside the kingdom to come.
“Take them to the camp and give them food.” he ordered the guard and turned to face the armies. “Follow him, he will show you where to stay till further notice.” Aragorn said and they followed the guard like zombies.
He left for his palace and went straight to his father’s room immediately he stepped his foot inside the palace ground.
“Told you we would win,” he said to king Jold as he entered his room without knocking. “We won, father I won against him.” he gloated with Pride. “And you said I wouldn’t but I did, I came back alive and he was defeated.”
Jold stopped what he was doing- reading his scrolls- to look at his son and shook his head.
“Was he still breathing when you left? Or he wasn’t breathing?” Jold asked.
“It doesn’t matter if he is still breathing or not. He was poisoned and there is no cure for it. He is dying a painful slow death as we speak. He would be dead in a few hours,” Aragorn said. “If you are worried about him coming back for me, don’t bother yourself father, he is dead and besides, I have someone who is stronger than him now.” He added.
“Aragorn, the one mistake you made was leaving Dark when he was still breathing, and the one mistake I did was letting you meet Raziah in the first place. If you hadn’t met her you wouldn’t have come across Dark at all.”
“Father, I just want you to know this, meeting Raziah was a mere luck and through her I met Dark who I had wanted to meet since I was a child. You might not know this but Dark is no match for me and today proves it. I’m unstoppable.” He told his father.
“I made a mistake a hundred years ago Aragorn, I don’t want you to do the same mistake I did. Fighting Dark’s dragon is way different from-”
Aragorn Interrupted him abruptly. “Father, unlike you, I don’t make mistakes and even if I do, I know how to clean up my own mess.” he told his father.
“Son, I was like you too once, ambitious and wanted the world down my feet. My father once told me about Dark and just like you too, I dismissed his words. He was assassinated and then I became King,” Jold said lying through his teeth. His father wasn’t assassinated instead he was the one who had killed him and became the King, no one knows who the killers are till now. An act he is still regretting till now. And it was as if destiny had slapped him right back at his face when his son wanted to kill him, and luckily for him, he didn’t. “I was working alongside with a witch, actually two, the Queen of witches and the Dragon Queen sister; one of her sisters, but still we were no match for him. He killed a lot of people that day Aragorn, he was a one man army. That day he buried the kingdom of Dragon with water and that sent fear into the hearts of every King’s, including Barwolf who thinks he was unstoppable, we had to plead with him.” he stopped to think his next words carefully. He couldn’t tell his son how Dark came for him years later and that day was his luckiest day because his wife went into labor and he had to save his son with Dark’s help. He noticed his son was giving him all his attention and that made him continued his tale. “That day, I saw his Dragon.”
“For the last time father, he has no Dragon.” he couldn’t tell him what Zelina had said about Dark not having a dragon to fight off her poison in him. “He has no Dragon.” he said again making sure his father heard him right. Zelina wouldn’t lie about that besides, if he really did, his Dragon would have fought Zelina’s poison and stopped her from slitting Raziah’s throat. Though he felt bad for what he did to Raziah but then again, she deserved it.
Shaking his head sideways. “I know what I saw Aragorn. I saw his Dragon with my two eyes. Unlike others who can transform from their human form to their Dragon, Dark Dragon followed him, just like the way his Cerberus does. That day made me realize why my father had warned me not to cross Dark’s path but I realized it too late. He forgave me but told me I should make sure your path never crosses with his in the future. Now, I believe he knows your path would cross years later and that was why he gave me that warning. Whoever that is giving you hope of you defeating Dark, is wasting your time.” Jold told him.
“I am not wasting my time father, I know what I am doing and as for Dark, I am not like you, I will finish him if by chance he survived, if.” Aragorn said with seriousness.
“Aragorn-” he began to say but was Interrupted by his son.
“I only came here to tell you that the Dark you are so afraid of, the Dark you held in high pedestal is down and down he shall remain. And as for my blood singer, she is dead, I joined hands in killing her, between power and love, I will always choose power over love. She understands that in her death.” Aragorn told him and turn to leave his room but stopped when his father spoke again.
“I have only talked about Dark’s Dragon but not his beast. Have you ever encountered his beast?”
Aragorn turned to look at his father with raised brows.
What beast was his father talking about?
He thought and waited for his father to elaborate on it.
“No? Then pray you shouldn’t encounter his beast, ever.”
