❤️ WAR (Part 7) ❤️
“Scars?” Elena said then her eyes widened up a bit before keeping a straight face as she slowly touched her face. “Oh, my scars.” She said, trying not to sound surprised.
“Yes, your scars, they are not there anymore, what happened? How did your face become whole again?” Raziah asked, she was receiving stares from everyone around but that wasn’t her concern, her focus was on Elena.
She remembered the story Elena had told her and it made her wonder if the Chaos mate had lied to her about Dark.
“It was a miracle Raziah, I couldn’t believe it when I discovered that my scars were gone. I had a dream and in it I saw myself with a woman who called herself Mary. She has dark hair and eyes and not that tall, beautiful,” Elena said and went on describing the woman which made Raziah eyes widened in shock. “She touched my face and I felt a cool sensation that spread through my body and when I woke up, you could imagine my surprise when I saw my healed face.” she added not taking her eyes off Raziah as she finished explaining.
“I am happy for you Elena, you look super beautiful now.” Raziah praised her. The woman Elena had described was her late mother which she is still finding it hard to believe.
“Oh Raziah stop it, my beauty is nothing compared to yours.”
Raziah scoffs but doesn’t say anything. Well, now that she has answered her questions, she turns to face her wolf but discovers that Violet wasn’t there anymore.
“What were you looking at before?” Elena asked, Chaos who had been standing beside her was oddly quiet.
“I saw something and wanted to be sure of what I saw but it seems I was imagining things.” Raziah answered, tearing her eyes away from the empty wall and back to Elena.
“And what can that be?” Elena pushed, wanting to know more.
“It’s nothing important Elena. Enjoy the wedding, I need to go back to my kingdom and think.” Raziah told her and turn to leave but stopped abruptly when one of the elders spoke.
“You cannot leave until the wedding ceremony is over, King Raziah.”
Turning around to face the elders and look at the one who spoke. “And why should I not leave? It’s none of my business to stay and watch Aragorn’s wedding ceremony.” she told them.
“Yes it is, you just said yes to his proposal which means you will be the new Queen of the Vampire.”
“You must be joking right? When did I accept to marry him?” Raziah asked with raised brows, rethinking of killing an elder. How dare they lied about her accepting Aragorn’s proposal, or do they take her for a f0ol. She faces Aragorn who was staring at her. “What are these nincompoops saying? Just because we had sex once doesn’t mean we should get married, so what is the meaning of this?” She asked trying not to let her anger take over her.
“Raziah please calm down. I asked you to marry me because you are my blood Singer, my other half and you accepted. You said ‘Yes’ to it so that I don’t know why you want to make an issue out of it.”
“Issue out of it, did you say issue out of this? Did you discuss this with me? You know very well that I won’t agree to this.”
“But you said yes to-”
Interrupting him.
“I said ‘Yes’ because I thought you were asking me something since I was distracted and didn’t know what you asked me,” Raziah said back to him then faced the elders once more. “The answer to his proposal is a big No and that’s final.”
“I’m afraid it’s impossible, once a Vampire King chooses his bride, it is forever and the only way to break it is by death.” One of the elders told her.
“Then I kill him, it’s easy.” Raziah said. “Let’s fight then.” she added, looking at Aragorn.
“It hasn’t gotten to that, I cannot fight you and if we fight it will cause a rift between our kingdoms that have been at peace for a long time and plus Dark, you will be making him laugh at our stupidity.” Aragorn said, trying to reason with her and it seems it worked when he involved Dark’s name.
“You are right Aragorn,” Raziah took a deep breath, after all Dark will be getting married to Amaya, that is if he survived tomorrow. So why won’t she also live out her life like she was doing before he came into her life. Now she has a handsome Vampire Prince who calls her his blood Singer “I will marry you after the war.” She added.
That brought a large smile on Aragorn’s face. “Thank you, let’s seal it with our blood, then we will do our proper wedding ceremony after the war.”
“Agreed.” Raziah said. “So what’s next?” she asked moving closer to meet him.
“We merge our blood together and drink from it.” Aragorn answered as he nodded at the elders and one of them brought out a golden cup, with it he sliced Raziah palm and put her blood inside the cup and did the same with Aragorn, he began an incantation and afterwards gave the cup to Raziah to drink from it which she oblige and drank a little from it and pass the cup to Aragorn who drank everything, every single drop of blood which marked the end of the wedding ritual.
The people present clapped their hands and afterwards left for their various homes. Prince Aragorn motioned for Raziah to follow him out of the throne room which she did, the last person to leave was chaos and his mate leaving King Jold and the elders.
“Why didn’t your son choose one of the vampire girls around?” an elder asked Jold.
“It is his choice besides, the wolf girl is his blood Singer, you cannot change it and deny him that.”
“Why did you give up your throne for him?”
“Because he is now older and I thought it is wise for him to take over me.” King Jold lied covering up got his son. He couldn’t tell them his main reason for stepping down for his son. He had felt pity for Aragorn once which made him go an extra mile for him 50 years ago but this time around he won’t do that again. This has now shown him the part his son had chosen and he hopes Aragorn doesn’t regret it.
“And what about the war they were discussing? Which kingdom is going to war? We’ve been at peace since, including the whole kingdom, so who wants to go to war?”
King Jold sighed.
“I don’t know but I will ask my son.” he lied again. “Thank you for your assistance and quick response when I told you I want my son as the King.” he added and one after the other the elders left. Once he was alone, he sighed once again and then left the throne room for his room.

“Please don’t be angry about what happened back then.” Aragorn began the conversation as he escorted Raziah to where her horse is.
“It’s nothing Aragorn, I wasn’t expecting it so it came as a surprise to me, besides, I never thought I would see myself getting married plus about my past.”
“You haven’t told me that, though you’ve said this before but you never elaborate more on it.”
“Like I said before I didn’t want to discuss it, I told Dark about my past and he used it to mock me. I’m just angry at myself for being a f0ol and telling him I won’t be that person again.”
“But I am not Dark, I won’t use your past against you.” Aragorn said. He wanted to know Raziah’s past and why didn’t she want to share it with him when she shared it with Dark, her abuser.
By now they reached her horse and she climbed it, holding the reins of the horse and looking down at Aragorn.
“I know, and that’s why I am scared.” she told him and smiled down at him. “I will see you later, right?”
“Of course, once I am done with everything I am doing in my palace I will come, after all we have to prepare for the war happening tomorrow.”
“Yes, I need to check if the villagers are safe.”
“Now that I am King, I will give you all the support you want, you are Mate Raziah and nothing will change that. I love you.”
Raziah smiled and nodded her head and without a response she rode out of the palace leaving Aragorn who seemed happy.

Elena’s Room:
“Why didn’t you tell me that she was coming, if I hadn’t thought of a lie quickly, I would have blown my cover, out cover Chaos.”
“I didn’t know she was coming, besides, even though you knew, what would you have done when Aragorn and everyone in the palace knows that your face doesn’t have any scars.” Chaos said, placing his hands behind his head and floating around the room.
“I am a witch Chaos a strong one, there is no witch stronger than me and you know that. I would have known what to do,” Elena said, pinching the bridge of her nose as she praised herself. “And that brings me to what Raziah was staring at, what did she see on the wall?” she asked no one in particular.
“I know what she saw.” Chaos answered.
