❤️ THE LETTER ❤️
“What do you want?” Raziah asked with clenched teeth.
“You dead, but don’t worry, it will be coming soon.” Amaya replied and fling the scroll at her which landed at Raziah feet.
Raziah made no move in picking up the scroll as her eyes were on Amaya. If looks could kill Amaya could have been dead. She couldn’t attack her yet because the Vampire Prince was holding her with an iron strong fist, his hold on her waist was strong but Raziah could easily break it but she didn’t. The demon girl had come here to provoke her on purpose and she won’t give her that chance and joy.
“Why are you here?” Raziah asked and didn’t wait for Amaya’s reply before continuing. “You know demons would have stayed in my throne room and waited for me to come instead of coming into the King’s private chamber.” She added.
Amaya laughed out as if what Raziah said was funny. “King? You’re no king and soon enough you won’t have that title because soon this palace will be taken away from you. That’s a letter for you from Dark. Read and get prepared with whatever you have because soon enough you will be joining your mother.” she told Raziah and a portal opened behind her. She then walked backwards towards it. “I hope you are ready and truly prepared because this time around, Dark won’t be holding back.” she added, stepping inside the portal, and her eyes moved to Prince Aragorn who was behind Raziah. “Enjoy the time you have left with her because…” She left her words hanging in the air as the portal started closing on her. She began to laugh.
Once the portal was closed, Raziah released her clenched hands and could have yelled if not that Prince Aragorn was there with her.
She suddenly discovers that Prince Aragorn was kissing her neckline softly and carefully whispering ‘Calm down Raziah’. Without her knowing, she relaxed in his embrace and tilted her head to give him more access to her neck.
“She wanted to provoke you and I am glad you didn’t do that.” Prince Aragorn said as he paused to speak. He thought Raziah could have pushed him away from her when she noticed what he was doing but to his shock and surprise she didn’t, instead she let him continue.
“I was already provoked the minute I saw her but I didn’t want to attack her, she isn’t my opponent.” Raziah said and decided the kissing on her neck was enough. “Stop.” she ordered and immediately the Vampire Prince stopped, letting her go. Raziah liked what the Prince was doing to her which surprised her a lot, a hell lot but she made sure her face didn’t display any emotions. She turned around to look at the Vampire Prince into his eyes and her gaze moved to his lips and she wondered what it could feel like if he kissed her on her lips. He had once kissed her but she was blinded by anger as of that time to know how it feels like. Now she wants… more. This was a new feeling and it is new to her but she wants to explore it.
Prince Aragorn saw the way Raziah was staring at him and wanted to use the opportunity to kiss her but he stopped at the last minute. She was his blood Singer, she will feel the pull towards him soon if she already hasn’t. He wants her to be the first person to kiss him.
Raziah fake coughed when she realized she had been staring at Prince Aragorn for a long time and then her eyes went downwards and came in contact with the scroll. Bending down to pick up the scroll, she frown and open it and the Vampire Prince move to stand beside her to also read the content of the scroll:
I don’t know you and I don’t wish to know you but I will be coming for your head Raziah in two days time. Get prepared because no amount of armies will stop me from taking your head. I will make sure Amaya, my bride to be, plays with your body and the other demons have a taste of you even in death. Two days is enough for you to prepare for the war. I don’t like telling my enemies when I am coming but I am telling you because on that day after your preparation and defense, you will be captured and disgraced. I will be coming for you Raziah until then live in fear because I will be lurking around in the shadows.
Dark, your doom.
“He is threatening me.” Raziah said as she squeezed the scroll in her hands. “And he thinks I will be scared of his mere threats. Let him come, I will be waiting.”
“I will tell my father about it. He has given us two days so we use these two days to gather the troops, every creature will participate in the war. We will win Raziah, we will win against him. He only has the demons but we, we have everyone so we have a lot of chances of defeating him, plus we have Chaos by our side.” Prince Aragorn tried to cheer her up by saying that. “But I still don’t get it, why will he tell you two days when he knows telling you means we know he is coming.” He added.
“That’s because he wants me to gather every kingdom’s armies and make them go to war with me against him. He has the confidence, the pride that he will defeat me in their presence. I would like to see him try that.” Raziah said.
“Meaning?”
“Meaning he thinks even if I lead every kingdom’s armies to war with him he will still defeat me. He wants me to know that he knows that is what I will do, calling other kingdoms for their armies.”
“Even if he is right, I see-” Prince Aragorn got Interrupted by her abruptly.
“But that’s where he is wrong, I will be fighting him, facing him with only my wolf armies. He will stand no chance.”
“But still yet Raziah, I still suggest you don’t listen to him, he knows that will get you and you will want to fight him with only your armies, don’t fall in his trap.”
“You think I am a fool who doesn’t know what she’s doing? That I cannot take down Dark alone?” Raziah said with raised brows at the Vampire Prince, pulling his legs by pretending to be angry.
“No, I do not mean that Raziah, I am just saying he knows what he said will get to you and stop you from reaching out to other kingdoms.” Prince Aragorn said. He doesn’t want to get on Raziah’s bad side and doesn’t want his blood Singer to get mad at him.
“I was just pulling your legs,” Raziah said laughing out loud at the face the Vampire Prince had made when she pretended to be angry at him. She stopped laughing and became serious. “I know he expects me to do it, and I will do that.”
“But his armies will be strong. You and your armies alone cannot defeat him. They are demons and demons are ruthless.” Prince Aragorn told her in concern. He doesn’t want to see his Raziah hurt or anything.
“I have already made up my mind. I wanted to involve the other kingdoms before but I won’t anymore. If I win him in this war it will be because I had the help of other kingdoms but he is challenging me and I have accepted his challenge. I have never run away from a fight before and I won’t start now.” She told him.
“This is what he wants you to do Raziah, can’t you see the handwriting on the wall?”
“Oh don’t worry, I have a plan B.”
“Plan B?”
“Yes, I will also be needing your armies but that is when I see that he is having the upper hand in the war which won’t happen anyway but if eventually it does happen, your armies will come and will join in the fight.” Raziah explained her plan B.
Prince Aragorn agreed to it because it involves him. At least he will keep a close eye on her.
“I like your plan.”
“So once I see he is gaining the upper hand I will send you a signal for your armies to come.”
Prince Aragorn opened his mouth to say something but stopped when they saw a black mist in front of them and Chaos was seen.
Smiling at both of them.
“Did I interrupt something important?” he asked when he noticed their expression on their faces.
“No, you didn’t, in fact I am glad you are here.” Raziah said. “But how do you know where to find us?”
“I followed your scent which wasn’t that hard to find.” Chaos replied and then took a deep breath closing his eyes which flew open immediately. “I smell the scent of a demon, well apart from me, another scent.”
“Yes, Dark’s girl came to give us a letter that came from Dark and in the letter he is giving us two days then he will attack.” Prince Aragorn told him.
“Attack?”
“Yes, he needs war and he will get one.” Raziah answered him though not liking the way Prince Aragorn had said ‘Dark’s girl’ he could have just said ‘Amaya’ instead of that.
Chaos looks at Prince Aragorn sharply. “I haven’t taught you how to summon your dark power yet or how to control a tornado. That will be the first thing I will teach you tomorrow. I thought we had time but now I see that time is no longer on our side.” he told the young Vampire Prince and his gaze shifted to Raziah. “And you, I haven’t taught you how demons fight.”
“I am okay and I am fine with the way I fight. I am very sure I will defeat him again so no worries.” Raziah told him with a brief smile on her lips.
“But-”
Raziah Interrupted him.
“I have a more pressing issue at hand, Chaos, Aragorn is eager to learn from you.” Raziah told him. She needs to communicate with her wolf within the next two days.
“Do you know who you want to go to war with, Dark. Dark of all people Raziah. You will need all the help and miracle you can to win this battle. He did this to me and I am strong.” Chaos said in a deeply concerned voice pointing at the horn lunge in his chest. “I don’t want you to suffer the same fate Raziah.”
One could think Chaos really cared but that’s the opposite. His head was already swimming with plans of taking Raziah and Aragorn powers.
